SALES VISIT - USED

My dad purchased a truck here and they were horrible to deal with. He came from out of town to sign the paper work and pick up the truck but about a week later they called to tell him they mixed up the VIN deal with. He came from out of town to sign the paper work and pick up the truck but about a week later they called to tell him they mixed up the VIN number and he needed to resign the paperwork. He agreed to do so, as long as the numbers didn’t change and they said no just sign them. After he reviewed the new paperwork he saw the interest and payments did in fact change and decided to just return the truck. When we got there and returned they keys the finance manager Alex came and started acting aggressive towards us. My dad tried to explain that he wasn’t okay with the price change but Alex wouldn’t stop trying to argue with us. He started yelling loudly that we stole the truck and that it’s an embarrassment that we don’t know finance cause we wouldn’t sign the new agreement. Hello Vanessa, I don't know what happened between you and Alex other than if he was aggressive, even in the slightest, it would be completely out of character for him. What I do know is that your Dad's paperwork was done and signed November 12th and Albert drove away with the truck. There was a clerical error that was found 3 days later that required him to return and sign the new documents. They tried on several occasions to inform him of the importance of returning and signing the deal and even offered him the option of DocuSign but he did not return to the dealership until December. The interest rate went up in December by 0.2%. This is not a price change nor is it something we control; this is the interest rate that is provided by the banks. I apologize for the mistake with the contract but had Albert either used DocuSign or returned to the dealership in the over two weeks remaining in November after he was informed, there would have been no change to his original deal.
