Hi Cali, I have spoken with Hugh already. He does not feel that your dealership owes us anything more than what he offered us. Labour on the alternator.)(read the comments.) As I have stated to Hugh, I feel that we were charged for parts and labour we should not have been. I think we have agreed to disagree. In the 2 additional voicemails I left for Hugh I made it clear that if he doesn't appreciate us as a customer, then I will take my business elsewhere, and I will utilize as many opportunities as I can to make sure others do not make the same mistake I apparently did.

Shelley, Thank you for leaving us this review and we would like to address your concerns here. In regards to the damage on your rim, you had sent us before and after pictures. In the before picture it does show the damage on the tire and few scuffs on the rim, no bend on the rim is indicated in the picture. In the after picture it does show the bend on the rim, and it also shows a scuff of the sidewall of the brand new tire that we had installed. This leads us to conclude that there must have been damage in between it leaving here and on its way to Hinton. This damage could be anything from it sinking into one of Edmonton’s infamous potholes, or simply hitting a curb as they left the city. We have no reason to not diagnose a dent in the rim as it allows us to earn your business by replacing the rim. Also, if there was a prior dent it would have had difficulty putting the tire onto the rim as the bead would not have set properly. In regards to the nail in the tire comments, please disregard this comment as it has nothing to do with our dealership. We are sorry that you feel unsatisfied with our dealership, but we stand behind our work. If we have made a mistake, we make sure that we have fixed that problem. However in your circumstance, we feel that we have done our due diligence to ensure that the job was done properly. Please consider this matter closed.

This matter is not closed. The before pictures are so blurry and not at a good angle making it impossible to make a conclusive decision on your part. The after picture tells it all when the rim is on the tire and on the vehicle. Only now can you truly see the damage on the rim. As I stated before it was after 5 o'clock on a Friday, everyone wanted to get out of the shop as soon as possible and the tire department did not do the switch out. I also do not like the insinuation that I did damage to the rim after I left your shop! This is highly unlikely as I stated before the vehicle sat on my daughters driveway from the time you put on the new tire and to the time I left her place to get onto the highway and that is when the tire started to loose air.

Purpleapple, We understand that you are frustrated, please understand that we do take care of our customers and by means do we want to leave our customers unsatisfied. However, based on the pictures you provided, on the brand new tire we installed there is an obvious scuff on the sidewall of the tire by the bend in the rim. If this was noticeable at the time that we put the tire on we would have notified you as this quite the serious matter. We would have gotten you a new rim and tire to ensure that this was done correctly. We stand by the service that we provided you, and while it seems that we still haven't made it right with you, we will refund you the $185. If you could please send me the receipts that would be greatly appreciated. Which method would you prefer to send them by? Mail or email? Have a great day.
