FANTASTIC EXPERIENCES FOR CAR SERVICING Canyon Creek Toyota has the BEST service center and personnel I have serviced my toyota car at different Toyota dealerships over the past 9 years. Canyon Creek Toyota has the BEST service center and personnel I have serviced my toyota car at different Toyota dealerships over the past 9 years. But I was always unhappy. But since I started servicing my car at Canyon Creek Toyota I am satisfied. I can say that Canyon Creek Toyota has the Best Service Center......the service personnel are excellent ..... especially Lawarence Viegas. Before Cajetan Viegas was in charge, way back in 2014 (but now he's moved up on promotion) and the service was excellent. Now most of the time I get Lawarence Viegas during servicing of my toyota cars. Comparing Toyota dealership servicing...... I can say Canyon Creek Toyota has the Best Service and your personnel ' Lawarence' is excellent. I have recommended / discussed many Toyota car owners to Canyon Creek Toyota and they express this very same opinion to me......the service is really very very good Thank you Canyon Creek Toyota! Not a great experience overall I found the car I wanted on the dealership’s website and made a deal with the salesman over the phone. He was fine to deal with. When I picked up the I found the car I wanted on the dealership’s website and made a deal with the salesman over the phone. He was fine to deal with. When I picked up the vehicle he took me for a test drive to show me the features and he tolerated my terrible city driving. I also dealt with the finance guy and it was an awful experience. First he sent me a bill of sale and told me to sign it and send it back. I noticed he had assumed I was financing the whole amount over a 5 year period and had payments calculated already. I called him to discuss it. He started by pushing warranty on me. I declined but he kept pushing. He told me horror stories of all the things that could go wrong with the vehicle, so I asked him why I should buy the vehicle to begin with if it wasn’t reliable. Then he offered me two types of payment protection plans. The first one was $21 per month and the second one was $5 per month. I agreed to the $5 plan. Then he got into financing options. He said, “Okay so $Xx,xxx over 5 years is $xxx per month.” I told him I only needed to finance about half of the cost. He told me that wasn’t possible because it had to be a minimum of $10,000 financed. I questioned the validity of his statement but I said, “Okay, so what would that be over 2 years?” He said it wasn’t possible to finance over 2 years - he said it had to be 5 years and started quoting what the payment would be. I told him I knew for fact 2 years was possible, he said no, I said yes, he said no, then I asked to speak to someone who wasn’t going to lie to me. Then he said, “Oh you want 2 years? Sure we can do 2 years.” He gave me what the monthly payment would be. I asked some questions about if the loan was open so I could put extra money down here and there. He changed his story a few times on the details of it. After I hung up the phone, I ran my own amortization schedule using the 2 year term and the interest rate he had quoted. The payments I calculated worked out to be $16 less than what he had quoted. I assumed he had given me the $21 protection plan instead of the $5 plan I had agreed to. I decided to find my own financing rather than give this guy my business, since they earn commission from financed deals. He was annoyed when I told him it would be a cash deal and then he wouldn’t send me the new bill of sale when I asked for it repeatedly (I wanted to transfer my registration ahead of time). When I got to the dealership to pick up my car, I waited for him for 45 minutes and he still hadn’t arrived. The salesman phoned him and claimed he was “stuck in traffic”. I ended up asking someone else to help me. The guy that helped me seemed pretty irritated. I wouldn’t buy a car from this dealership again. More

Very Likely the Worst Dealership in Alberta My first experience with the service centre had to deal with my seat. I dropped the vehicle off before 9am and at around 5pm, they called and said the My first experience with the service centre had to deal with my seat. I dropped the vehicle off before 9am and at around 5pm, they called and said the replacement seat was the wrong one - so they put the old one back on. I did my best to stay clear of them ever since. My vehicle has had quite a few recalls & the one manager explained that allot had changed at the dealership since my experience, so give them another chance - like a fool, I did. I booked an appointment for the safety recall work to be done nearly two weeks in advance - they said that it could take half the day to complete. I again took time off of work and dropped my vehicle off in the AM. A couple of hours later, I received a call: "sorry but it looks like we don't even have the parts that need to be replaced for your recall" is the call that I received. There's "stupid", there's "really stupid" and then there's these clowns. If you really like Toyota, that's great - just avoid these clowns like the plague. More

My more than reasonable shaped 2008 Yaris, with very low mileage of 123 km, was initially given a ridiculous tradein value of only $1200 !! The truth is, I felt that was quite an insult ! Luckily, we barely made a deal in the end. More
