My husband and I bought a 2023 Rdx. Our sales person Christian as well as the sales manager we’re extremely helpful and on top of things as we had to wait for it to be manufactured. Purchased a used accord online. It was advertised as no accidents in great The sales rep, Jake, told me the car was in excellent condition. Tried to work with dealer are the were rude in their response. Stay away, they are lying crooks. More
Camco Acura tried to sell me a used MDX and and tried to hide the facts. It was sold and registered to a buyer who did not pickup this vehicle. My assumption is because of the major repairs on the windshield and the technology on the windshield. They tried to sell me this car as new. Mr. William Chu (General Manager) orchestrated the who plot according to the sales person Christian Beaupre. But I think Christian was involved too. Beware of this Dealership. In my opinion, doing a scam is in their work culture. I can say this because they did not even deal with me with apology, once I found out myself what they tried to hide. That says it all.I still maintain all the proof. Every one at Camco was involved. More
Nov 1 Ordered a winter wheel package for my 2021 RDX Tech. OEM wheels, Michelin X-ice tires and TPMS. Scheduled service set for Nov17. Nov17 check in car for service. After waiting 1 1/2 hours at the Tech. OEM wheels, Michelin X-ice tires and TPMS. Scheduled service set for Nov17. Nov17 check in car for service. After waiting 1 1/2 hours at the dealership advised that they have run out of wheels and will have to reschedule installation to Nov 30. Service tech assures me my TPMS and tires will be kept for me and once the wheels come in they will mount them ahead of time so my next waiting time will be short. Nov 30th. Arrive at dealership only to be told that they have run out of Michelin tires. I remind them that they were supposed to hold on to my tires and TPMS. They reply that there is nothing in my file to that effect. A this point I ask to speak to the Service Manager and am told there is none. I talk to the dealership Assistant Manager who says he will look into it. I am rescheduled for the third time for Dec8. I talk to my salesman the next day asking if I should just pay for the wheels and TPMS and bring them home with me so I know that when the tires come in I will have a full set. He assures me that he will personally have my name placed on the wheels and sensors and everything thing will be okay for my third attempt. Dec 8. Call service desk an hour prior to my 3rd service to ensure everything in in. Told that all parts are in. Arrive at my scheduled time. After waiting 3 1/2 hours I am told my car is ready but TPMS sensors were not installed. They have run again out. They would install them when I come back for my summer wheel change in the spring. I am told that there is no charge to compensate for all the issues I have been having. Surprised I ask them are you sure. They respond by saying yes they are but if I don’t trust them I can pay for them. At this point I am so frustrated will the whole thing I say fine and leave. Two days later I get a call from my salesman asking for my credit card number to pay for the wheel set. I tell him what they told me but he says they have made a mistake. This is just too much. I tell him I will pay when the service is complete. He calls me back with a new service date of Dec 20. Dec 20 after a 2 1/2 hour wait my winter wheel package is finally installed. After 4 scheduled services to the dealership and close to 8 hours of waiting time the service is finally completed. Not even an offer of some compensation for the xxxx they put me thru. In 50 years of car ownership I have never seen anything like this. Acura is supposed to be the luxury division of Honda but their service is worst that any shop I have ever been to. I would gladly go to another dealership for service but since they are the only Dealer in Ottawa I am stuck. I deeply regret my purchase of an Acura product. More
Terrible service from the finance manager. Zero professionalism from him. Whining and pouting because I opted out of extended warranty.
