Worst car / customer service I've ever experienced I recently took my brand new Tuscon in for it's first oil change / service. I asked for a couple of additional things to be checked, one being a ligh I recently took my brand new Tuscon in for it's first oil change / service. I asked for a couple of additional things to be checked, one being a light that had been coming on and off. It was a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark in the middle along with the words "check brake light". I had checked the lights and they appeared to be working but it was something that I figured needed to be looked at given it was a new vehicle. When the service was done, Ryan told me that all the lights were working properly and to check my windshield washer fluid next time because if it gets low, sometimes that light will come on. I asked why a brake light alert would show if my windshield washer fluid was low? I just got a shrug and was advised everything was working good. A few days later, the light came on again. I took it right into the dealer and advised that I had just had my vehicle in and explained the details surrounding the light. Mike was working and he said they weren't busy (I didn't have an appointment) so he looked at it right in the bay area where you check in. I waited in the sitting area while Mike looked at it. Katelyn came out and told me that one brake light was slightly dimmer than the other and wondered if I wanted it changed or it I wanted to wait for it to go right out. It was going to cost me $34. I inquired about warranty coverage as it's a brand new vehicle and she told me it wasn't covered as bulbs are expendable; they blow. Mike changed the bulb. I paid for it and left. I no sooner drove off the lot when the light came on again. I turned around and pulled back into the bay area. Mike said the bulb had blown; that it's an issue with the wiring and he's going to need a day with my vehicle. I asked to be reimbursed for the bulb since it's a wiring issue and not the bulb; he said the first one's on me to pay for. The second blown bulb they will replace. I scheduled an appointment and drove away furious. When I arrived for my next scheduled appointment, anticipating my vehicle to be there for the better part of the day, I asked to speak with the service manager. Unfortunately that ended up being Mike as Ryan wasn't in yet. We went into his office and I expressed my frustration and concern about this light issue that I had reported at the first scheduled service; the fact that I had been back now four times and I believed it wasn't diagnosed properly at the beginning. I said that $34 isn't much but I believed I shouldn't have had to pay for that bulb. Mike laughed and said customers think they have all this magic equipment that can diagnose everything but unless it's "in your face", the dealer can't. I asked why it wasn't checked out more thoroughly the second time I was in when the light was on? Mike said he'd have to check the technician's notes. I told Mike that HE was the one who looked at it at that time. He dismissed my comment and told me that they just don't hand out bulbs. The constructive conversation I had hoped for turned out to be a full on argument. Mike then made a comment about the bulb not being covered unless the vehicle is under 6 months or 10,000km. I advised him my vehicle was BRAND NEW. He then checked their database to confirm I met that those requirements and because of that, I was reimbursed (keep in mind you provide your mileage every time you take your vehicle in and I was just in for it's first service so I have no idea how that was overlooked). I left in the shuttle and about an hour later, received a missed call from Katelyn. I tried calling her back but she was busy so I requested a shuttle back to see what was going on. I was advised that they didn't have a part in stock (light socket); that they would have to order it and I would have to bring my vehicle back the following week. I knew then that I was never returning to this place. Oh, and recently my windshield washer fluid level got low. Guess what came up on my dash? I picture of windshield wipers with a "low wiper fluid" alert. No yellow triangle saying "check brake light". Brutal. More

Outstanding Customer Care I did not purchase my new 2017 Tucson Hyundai at Cambridge but live near by and decided to try it for all servicing issues. The "over all" reception and customer care has been outstanding. Whether it is simply an oil change or a more complicated issue Mike is always friendly and very helpful. Mike Lear is someone I would hire. He represents Hyundai with excellence, care and pride. Mike exceeds my expectations in customer care. He is professional, acts quickly and fairly. Recently I had a crack in my windshield which appeared to start at the very outer edge of the glass. There was no stone chip found in the glass. So I thought I would drop by to see if warranty might cover this issue. Mike, kindly took the information, promising that he would send it to the appropriate people (who make the decision). He told me it would be 3-4 days before I heard back from him. I heard back from Mike the very next day and was told that it absolutely is covered under warranty. Subsequently, I have had the windshield replaced!!! Even if it had not been covered I found Mike to be understanding and kind in the process. the very next day I received a phone call from an individual wanting to confirm that I was totally satisfied with my experience. yes, I am totally satisfied with their service and will recommend to friends and colleagues. thank you very much for your service Mike. Suddenly there were 3 of us without a car, my husband, myself and our granddaughter. Our car was towed from another city to Cambridge Hyundai without any hitches from our road side assistance. When we explained our situation to Chop he immediately sat down with us and told us that we should look for another car before we hear from the Ins. Co. so that in this way we can be prepared. He was positive that our car would be a right off and he was correct. With the task at hand Chop had his work cut out for him. He was amazing in how he handled the whole situation being that Christmas is just around the corner and we needed it all done before Christmas. He was very informative about the products that he presented to us which he believed that would benefit all of us. He not only was able to give us what we needed but gave us more that what we ever expected. Chop's professional and friendly manner made us feel very welcome and at ease considering our situation that we were all in. Chop acted very quickly on our requirements for 2 cars and was able to complete the task all before Christmas. We bought a 2017 Tucson, and it is everything and more than what Chop said it was. It is perfect for us. Our granddaughter bought a 2014 Kia Rio and she absolutely loves it, and it also turned out to be more that she ever expected. Due to Chop's diligence we ended up having a very good Christmas. More

Mike & Gerry Gerry is fantastic here, highly recommend him. He is warm, friendly, extremely helpful and very knowledgeable! Mike is also great to work with!
