Hit and Miss Service I have a Ford Performance vehicle and as you can imagine sometimes comes across some "specialty" problems. I was supposed to be assigned a specifi I have a Ford Performance vehicle and as you can imagine sometimes comes across some "specialty" problems. I was supposed to be assigned a specific service advisor which I was hoping would over time learn about the rather common issues with this vehicle but he did not (nor did he offer to look into it). At one point, there was a dispute over a warranty claim and the service advisor put forward a plan that required my car be out of service for months while they "evaluated it for warranty", and that I be on the hook for any repairs if it was deemed not-warranty (no guarantees either way), which I consider to be a rather poor option and something that I would have hoped they would have worked out more clearly before communicating to me. That being said, Joon from the shop was very skilled at fixing some of the rattles/squeaks that the car developed months into ownership and I was very appreciative of that. I also brought the car in for a well known warranty issue and they did take care of that quickly and effectively. However, what turned me away from them was that they no longer offer Taxi chits for a service that may take a few hours (only a shuttle that covers Richmond only), so that forces me to either be held captive at the dealer for an unknown length of time on a weekday, rent a car for $36/day (may not be necessary), or take a somewhat complicated trip back to Vancouver using a combination of their shuttle and public transit. Overall, it seemed to me that the people were pleasant, but not always great at understanding how to deliver information to customers or providing a proper resolution that balanced the customers needs with the dealerships effectively. Service I would have rate 5 but because scheduling is not great. I have called Dec. 14, 2018 for a Fuel Delivery Module Flange Replacement and I was told that I would have rate 5 but because scheduling is not great. I have called Dec. 14, 2018 for a Fuel Delivery Module Flange Replacement and I was told that there's no available schedule not until January of 2019 and someone will call then to schedule my vehicle for fixing. It's already January of 2019 and no one call me yet. January 22, 2019 I've call again and I was informed that I was on the line already but since more still ahead of me, more or less I'll be seeing sometimes in spring and again someone will call me once it's my turn. Already spring and I've been waiting and waiting for any updates but still I have not receive any call. Summer comes still no call, so I decided to call 1st week of July and the guy who answer the phone scheduled me right away for fixing my car. Good and quick service, dropped off my car at 9AM and they called me before 1100hrs informing that my car is ready. Nice staff who assisted me. Thank you guys for the good repair, also thank you for the shuttle service, very convenient. More

Although there are letters sent most often the response I get when I call is they have not heard back if my vehicle is affected. More

You are provided poor service and/or overcharged (generally both). I can say that my experience with Cam Clark Ford Richmond is not like that. I am very happy to bring my car here and have experienced excellent work, fair market rate pricing and great customer service. I have been a customer with them for 8 years. They did change ownership to Cam Clark in recent history since the purchase of my car from Richport Ford in 2011, but the philosophy and much of the service team appears to have remained the same. My customer service rep is Sue Holomego and she encapsulates all that great customer service is about. When Sue is busy with another client, I have been treated equally professionally whether on the phone or in person by other service staff members (thank you Cory!) More
