After the test drive, the conversation turned to a weird. Chris put together price with $400 "administrative fee" (all ads suggest prices are only plus taxes and licensing). When asked, he said I must buy the car using their financing, with undisclosed terms, only payment amounts were shown to me. Further, Chris suggested that "they only sell vehicles with financing", and will not sell a car without financing attached to a sale. "Maybe if a car is sitting a while in the lot, we can make an exception and sell for cash..." I thanked him for showing the vehicle and stood up. "What is happening?" - asked Chris, looking surprised. Guess what? If you are not selling me the car at the price advertised, I am leaving. And I discourage everyone from buying at a dealership that adds undisclosed charges or "mandatory financing". More
