After some research I learned the best car for my new lifestyle would be an off-road brand. I met with TJ from Caledon Jeep and he explained everything I needed to know about the Jeep I was test driving. However, after learning my individual unique needs the Grand Cherokee was brought to my attention. True to quality, a nice luxury drive while being able to withstand my new home terrain; my new Grand Cherokee was the best choice for me....TJ was right. Fear of steep hills no more; luxury drive in rough terrain keeps my family and I safe. With previous cars the after sales experience is what I considered another opportunity for dealerships to add a bit more cushion to the sale price. At Jeep Caledon Hamid was so sincere putting aside the additional perks I really didnt need and offered me only one thing making sure I understood why I would benefit. Amazing I was recently in search of a new vehicle for my family. I was looking for something very specific; a Dodge Durango RT. After having no luck with a local dealer in the Ottawa region, I took it upon myself to do my own search. I found the vehicle at the Dodge Caledon dealership. Not only did they have my dream car, the customer service was impeccable. I drove a total of 11 hours to get this car, but it was more than worth it. Sabrina and Hamid were so helpful and made sure I got the best deal. If I'm ever in the market for another car, I will definitely be making the drive back to Dodge Caledon. Questionable Practices "It's a trap" Called ahead prior to leaving our home 1.5hrs to look at a used vehicle. TJ was pleasant enough and rattled off the features. Told me about the "cop" Called ahead prior to leaving our home 1.5hrs to look at a used vehicle. TJ was pleasant enough and rattled off the features. Told me about the "cop" who previously owned it (other LEOs love hearing the word COP!} I decided to make a cash offer with my own financing and was told that someone had selected this vehicle and applied on line for credit...thus if I wanted the vehicle I would have to apply for credit through the dealer. Of course I could simply pay it off right away with my own financing. TJ Really tried to push the financing as this is clearly another source of revenue for them. Obviously I wasn't biting for this ploy, despite the long distance I travelled. When I asked to speak to the manager though as I wanted to share my frustration with the inconsiderate action of not advising that there was an offer or sorts already in place..he was mysteriously busy. TJ left the office twice to allegedly collect the manager who was outside...however my wife watched him simply exit the building and stand outside for a few minutes...pretending to have gone to speak to manager. He then disclosed to me upon my departure that he was in fact a manager himself...by this time the lies and BS we're getting pretty deep. Happy we smelled the trap and knew enough to avoid it. Show all rebates rebate and or incentives separately and the dealers discount from price. TJ did exactly what I asked, we struggled a little over the trade value but at the end of the day, it was fair. Your credit guy was fast and too the point and did not push extra's he asked once and we declined. I arrived at the dealership around 5 pm on Monday and by 6:30 the deal and all finance paper work was complete. We picked up the truck the text day Tuesday and were in and out in about an hour. To me this process was exceptional. No haggle and all parties feel good about the transaction. Good job TJ More
