Replaceable Consumers I am very displeased with the customer service at Burrard Acura. On March 18, 2017 I called Burrard Acura to confirm whether a 2014 AWD Acura TL had n I am very displeased with the customer service at Burrard Acura. On March 18, 2017 I called Burrard Acura to confirm whether a 2014 AWD Acura TL had navigation and a rear-view camera. A sales representative David picked up and confirmed that they were in fact in the car. After which I drove all the way from Langley to Downtown Vancouver to seriously consider this car. David was extremely helpful at the start as most sales associates are and let us test drive the car. When we entered the car and turned it on the front display screen prompted for a code to be entered. David assured us again that the car had navigation and rear-view camera. David said that we should test drive the car and then he would enter the code when we returned. After driving around I was really impressed by the handling and thoroughly enjoyed the car. We came back to the dealership and sat down at which time we started to negotiate prices. David would continually negotiate with his sales manager Chris O'Neill for the price of the car and we reached an agreeable number. After which David came back to us extremely apologetic saying that there had been an error online and that someone had put in the wrong features. There in fact there was no navigation or rear-view camera. At which time I became extremely frustrated I had called in specifically for these features and David had assured me that they were in the car. David continuously apologized but made no attempts to lower the price of that car even further. Instead tried showing my different cars and told me they could help with third party installation instead. Was this just all just a lure to get me down here? When we asked if we could talk to the manager David hesitantly obliged. David went and talked to his manager but returned with no avail. David told us that his manager was busy and wasn't able to talk to us. What kind of customer service is this? this dealership completely wasted my time I spent 3 hours there as well as 90 minutes of traveling time for a mistake they had made yet the manager does not have time to talk to us. Does he feel that his time is more valuable then ours? I would never recommend this dealership to anyone nor will I be buying my future car from here. I'm in shock of this kind of treatment from a supposed reputable dealership. They were only friendly when we were ready to purchase the car after when we had complaints for completely wasting our time or lack of accommodation we were treated as replaceable consumers. More

We've all been told to develop a good relationship with a trustworthy mechanic; but unless you go to a local mom & pop garage for all your service needs, it's more practical to develop a good relationship with your dealership's service coordinator, one who is competent and trustworthy since all your needs will go through the service centre. I'm happy to say that we've had exceptional service from Mike Wong at Burrard Acura over the last several years for all the warranty & maintenance needs of our two Acuras. When I attempted to fix the automatic window actuator on our older Acura, Mike was very knowledgeable about the problem after I explained it and he knew exactly what parts were needed. Since I wanted to tinker with the car and fix it myself, he was even patient and professional enough to guide me through the diagrams after I came back multiple times to ask him questions. More

Awesome customer service from Alex Lin -2017 Acura RDX Elite Alex Lin was awesome! My wife and I needed a new family vehicle after ours died. I did some research and chose the Acura RDX. It's a perfect fit for o Alex Lin was awesome! My wife and I needed a new family vehicle after ours died. I did some research and chose the Acura RDX. It's a perfect fit for our lifestyle. Alex was super friendly, knowledgeable and knew what we needed before we did. We were there pretty late and he stayed with us till the end. Thanks to him and Chris O'Neill. My wife had to work when I picked up the car and I had my 2 young kids with me. I had to fill out paperwork and get insurance so Alex took my 5 year old son. He give him some hot chocolate and showed him the drawing materials and TV that Acura provides for all their waiting customers. Man, this guy is awesome! Anyone who can take my kids away and occupy them without them causing a fit is my best friend. The 2017 Acura RDX Elite is the best vehicle I've ever had. It's powerful, fully automatic in every way and my wife loves it too. I recommend going to Burrard Acura and talking to Alex Lin. It was a great experience. More
