I purchased a used vehicle the beginning of July 2012 and have had several problems with the car. When I took it for a test drive the steering column made a funny noise and when I mentioned it to the associ have had several problems with the car. When I took it for a test drive the steering column made a funny noise and when I mentioned it to the associate assisting me he stated that it was normal. But as I had never owned a Hyuandi nor am I a mechanic I trusted the salesperson and thought all was well and purchased the close to $10,000 car. That same evening I made a call to the dealership and spoke to the salesperson/Armando. I mentioned that I was concerned with a noise/viberation coming from the rear of the vehicle when driving at high speeds (100+ km/hr) on the highway. He attributed the noise to the new tires needing to be balanced and instructed me to call into the service department in the morning. I called the Service department and explained the story of my new purchase up until now. They booked me their soonest appointment which a few days away. On the day of the appointment I dropped my car in early that morning and had my fiance drive me to work. I asked to have my keyless entry checked (as my car would not beep when I pressed the lock button) and to have the noise/vibration at the rear of the car looked at. I received a call that afternoon letting me know that the keyless entry had been fixed and that the noise while driving was that a rear strut needed to be replaced. The mechanic also made note that the U-joint in the steering column needed to be replaced. I mentioned that I had let the sales rep know the day I took it for a test drive and she acknowledged my comment and proceeded to tell me that they did not have the part(s) and another appointment would need to be made. So I go, pick up my car, and make another appointment and the process starts again. A few days later I again drop the car off in the morning, take the shuttle to work – which I am late for, and use my lunch to have the shuttle pick me up to retrieve my vehicle. This time the rear strut and the U-joint in the steering column will be replaced and I have noticed that the fuel level is seized. I mention this when I drop the vehicle off and she tells me that they will look at it. My family and I go on vacation and when I come home I test the car and once again I hear the noise coming from the rear and the fuel lever is not much better. In the passing weeks I notice that if I turn the car off and leave my lights on the audible ding to alert me my lights are still on doesn’t work, the lights that light up my dashboard/radio flicker while driving in the rain (likely due to a short or a bad connection) and the initial issue of the rear noise/vibration is still there. My warranty is over as of August 31st of this year and I will have to make another appointment to have all these things looked into. I’m frustrated with my expensive purchase. I’m tired of the inconvenience. I expect things to be done and to be done right the first time. On my 3rd return in less than two months,I would like a tenured mechanic to do a thorough inspection of the vehicle so that I don’t have to come in after my warranty is up to pay for repairs that should have been caught before I was sold the car. Most dealers you are slightly uptight & worried when you go to look for a car but once you get there you will realize you made the rigth choice as I did. It's hard to get great customer service nowadays but Burlington Hyundai & Dan have been great so far with all my questions & concerns! More

Worst experience I could imagine. They always try to blame the owner for any problems rather then trying to fix it. They reset my computer 3 times to hide the check-engines codes trouble rather tha blame the owner for any problems rather then trying to fix it. They reset my computer 3 times to hide the check-engines codes trouble rather than trying to fix it. They asked me to drive my car on summer tires rather than winter tires during winter in order to try to put the blame on my Winter tires choice... I went there with a leaking tire, after 3 hours they give it back saying that they couldn't find any leak!!! I ended up going to a different Hyundai dealer (Guelph) and they fixed everything at first appointment. Avoid this dealer!!! More

I bought a new 2011 Sonata with the optional $2000.00 so call NAV sytstem. The nav has never worked right from the begining, the bluetooth and voice control do not work right either. I go to the dealer call NAV sytstem. The nav has never worked right from the begining, the bluetooth and voice control do not work right either. I go to the dealer BURLINGTON HYUNDAI and after explaining ( at least 6 times )all the things the system will not do ( but should) and having the mechanic correct my grammer in the middle of my explanation (incorrectly) I will add, At this point I'm having serious doubts about their ability or desire to actually repair the car. So I leave it with them, thinking it will take a day or two to resolve if possible the problems. Guess what? An HOUR and a half later! I got a printout on how to do the bluetooth ( strange because the problem has nothing to do with the user, its a system problem ) and as for the $2000.00, so called NAV SYSTEM, oh ya he drove the car around the block and DECLARED IT FIXED. If you would like some of this WOUNDERFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE GO TO BURLINGTON HYUNDAI...you'll get lots of free coffee...well not so free really! More
