Unethical The worst experience with any BMW dealership we have had in the past 20 years ( we’ve had 4 x5’s 2 3 series and a 1 series from different dealers). On more than one occasion Budds have demonstrated unethical practices. Ranging from charging for work not performed to scams involving so called “computer upgrades”. Our last experience they sought to charge us $7000 to change out sensors, catalytic converters due to a hard stop warning (at the same time saying they couldn’t guarantee this would fix the problem). They also said they couldn't connect to the on board computer and then had to do a computer upgrade before they could go any further. The vehicle had 200kms left before a hard stop and they ran the car down to 30km to prevent us from taking the vehicle to another dealer for a second opinion. In the end we took the vehicle to an Auto shop in Oakville just around the corner and it was confirmed that Budds were scamming us. Coincidently a friend who imported a vehicle from the US recently took his vehicle there. Budds used the same strategy and tried to charge him $2000 for a computer upgrade and to do simple programming of his lights (he purchased an on board diagnostic tool you can connect yourself and did the work himself for the cost of $40). We took our issues to Kyle Rutty the Service Operations Manager who in my mind is driving this culture (together with leadership from the top). We have spoken to numerous friends in Oakville who have BMW’s and they have had similar experiences. This is not an ethical company!! Beware. Chris & Narelle More

I had my sight on car (bmw 428i with 800km), I accidently left a message with Moe Kassab on his day off, he answered back right away was flexible and happy to give me a test drive on that day. After some time of negotiations we were able to come to a deal. The whole process never felt rushed, even on his day off (I arrived at 1230 and left at 430 pm, signed). I will definitely deal with him again. Staff is also very courteous, as you enter in you are promptly greeted and assistance is offered. Delivery was very smooth, car was in area with good lighting and presented well for my final inspection. Product specialist Kyle was able to go through all the features of new vehicle and answer my questions. When I went home, I had to call him for some help regarding the app to connect bmw with phone, he gladly offered assistance over the phone. I would definitely recommend coming to budd bmw for their staff and inventory More

First service on my BMW went well I had bought my used 2015 M235i here and took it back today for installing Dinan Tune Stage 1 software and hardware. (Budds' is a Dinan dealer; I woul I had bought my used 2015 M235i here and took it back today for installing Dinan Tune Stage 1 software and hardware. (Budds' is a Dinan dealer; I would not allow just *any* mechanic to install the complex Dinan accessories.) The price was reasonable, but of course, these accessories are not cheap anywhere and BMW dealers' labour rates are not cheap either. The work was done well (by mechanic Paolo) and the car works perfectly. It is super fast now. I was booked for 10am and knew that the installation would take about 3 hours, Of course, I did not realize that the mechanic had a one hour lunch break scheduled for 12. (The Advisor told me that when I first arrived.) Hence, the work was not finished until 2pm, but that was right on the predicted time. Everyone deserves a lunch break! I just wish I had known about that before booking the service; I would have booked the work for 1pm instead. Anyway, not a big deal. Budd's offers a free Shuttle service and can also provide a rental loaner car at an additional fee. The service department is much more classy than I am used to; I previously owned an Infiniti (and other brands of cars before that). It's also cool that when bringing the car in for service, you drive right into an indoor bay; that would be great on rainy or snowy days. Service Advisor Jenny Beaudrie inadvertently charged me less than the cost should have been; she phoned me later and explained that. OK, no problem, I gave her my MasterCard number and she sent me the corrected invoice immediately. Overall, I am happy with the Service experience. More

He really has the ideal personality for auto sales. Friendly and engaging; loves cars; knows BMW incredibly well. (In terms of engaging with the customer, he was much better than the sales guys at the two other BMW dealers.) I was interested in Budd's 2015 M235i XDrive but mentioned that I was also considering various 335i models at other dealers. After the test drive of the M235i, Mush got me to drive one of their used 340i too, to appreciate the difference in the cars, back to back. (I still went to the other two dealers to test drive three 335i's but that was probably unnecessary. The M235i was the right car for me as I should have known from the first experience with Mush.) The negotiation on price was straight forward. I offered $x plus HST, including a one year extended BMW warranty, and they came back at $400 more. Still good value so I said yes. Business Manager Mark Diab was also helpful, and gave me some useful advice about financing that had not occurred to me. Both are gentlemen, businesslike but friendly, and I felt like a valued customer. I live closer to another BMW dealer so I won't likely service my M235i at Budd's, so I will not be able to comment on that aspect. More
