I purchased my BMW X1 brand new a mere year ago, and it has barely clocked 13,000km. Recently, a disturbing error message regarding a 'Driver Restraint System Malfunction' emerged on my dashboard, prompting an urgent visit to Budd's BMW Oakville . Imagine my shock when, after merely a few hours, I was summoned to retrieve my vehicle alongside an inexplicable service bill of $198.00. For a vehicle so new and under warranty, with no history of accidents, this was downright outrageous. The Service Operations Manager, David Bell, had the audacity to blame an alleged obstruction on the back seat for the malfunction, leading to this unfounded diagnostic fee. This isn't just poor service; it's a clear scam. This incident isn't isolated. My initial oil change in January turned into a fiasco when they inexplicably damaged my trunk's closing mechanism and a side hook. Why they were meddling with the trunk during an oil change is beyond comprehension. Reluctantly, I overlooked this incompetence, not wanting to jeopardize the staff's ratings with a negative review. However, this continuous pattern of deplorable service, deceit, and attempts to swindle customers into unnecessary services has compelled me to break my silence. The stark contrast between the service quality I experienced in Markham and the abysmal standards at Budd's BMW Oakville is staggering. It's high time Budd's BMW Oakville is recognized for what it truly is - potentially the worst BMW service center in Canada, if not North America. Their actions not only undermine the service quality but also severely tarnish the prestigious BMW reputation. More
Purchased 2020 bmw x3 in May 2023. The sales rep advised he would provide us with new tires since they were all worn down. We received the car and took it to another BMW location clos The sales rep advised he would provide us with new tires since they were all worn down. We received the car and took it to another BMW location closer to our home for its first service. We found out that are alignment was not done correctly and they only provided front tires not back ones. We called and spoke to management but the manager refused to provide us with the inspection report then provided it days later. When we looked at the tires normal is 6 and 2 is bad. They sold us 3 so basically the bare minimum. You think getting a luxury car and spending over 50k they would provide you with quality. Not to mention they also gave us broken windshield wipers which cost 86 dollars to replace. When we told the BMW location by our house they were shocked and surprised that they would sell us the suv with a bad alignment, basically bald back tires and broken windshield wipers. Trying to address our concerns with the manager. He told us there was nothing he can do and avoided my husband's phone calls. I am so disappointed and really want to try and save people from going to a sketchy dealership like BUDDS. More
Budds BMW is racist. Second Class Treatment I went in for a pre booked appointment at 9:40AM. At 3:30 PM my car had not even been seen. Big suspension issue that could have resulted in a crash. Was told that they had lots of winter tires to do. Shop closes at 5pm, meaning my car would never get fixed that day. I took my vehicle back and will never go there again. I suspect I was pushed to the back because I wasn't a First Class customer to them (bought new X5M Comp, etc and got to the front of the line). My advice drive the car to any small shop, pay less, get treated like a human. More
Dealership sold me a low KM used 440i in August 2022. During sales process, I asked profusely about brakes and tire condition. "Won't need to be changed any time soon".
