When my lease was almost up another limited edition newer model pulled into the lot and I simply bought it it was a 335is m series cab and I can tell you I love the car and the VIP service they give me to this day 4 years later! Service of my BMW Recently had my BMW in for regular service and checkup. As I'm from out of town, I needed to make special arrangements to coordinate the service whil Recently had my BMW in for regular service and checkup. As I'm from out of town, I needed to make special arrangements to coordinate the service while I was in Southern Ontario for another reason. All the arrangements were coordinated through Decio and Calypso. (appointment, rental, etc). Decio was great to deal with and was very accommodating. The drop off and return was completed with minimal delay. Decio took the time to go over the list of items that I wanted looked at on the car and explained what work was done. A few days later, he even followed up with a phone call to see how my drive home went and if I had any issues with the car. I can't say enough about the service and treatment that I have received from the staff at Budds. It was especially nice to walk into the dealership (after not being there for a year) and having the staff I had dealt with previously (Dom and Phil) remember me and greet me like family. My impression of Budds in general is that the management must be doing something right as they seem to have a low turnover of employees. Those employees also seem happy and treat customers like family. Kudos to Budds employees and management for making what often seems to be a painful chore (getting service done on a car) into a pleasant/positive experience. More
Purchase and service of my 335I I had made the decision to try the BMW brand after years of infiniti/Honda, etc. I was initially concerned as there is no dealer support in Sault Ste I had made the decision to try the BMW brand after years of infiniti/Honda, etc. I was initially concerned as there is no dealer support in Sault Ste. Marie for BMW, however, I took a leap of faith in the brand and also in the service from Budds' in Hamilton. I originally dealt with Dominic in sales and he was fantastic to deal with.. He went over and above by meeting me at the go station after I had flown to Toronto from the Soo. He had all the paperwork ready and had me on my way back home very quickly. On the ride home, I noticed something was not right with the gearbox. The following day, I contacted Dom, who then put me in touch with Phil Hopwood. I was initially thinking that this BMW experience was starting off as a disaster and was imagining that I would need to drive 8 hours back to the dealership, have to wait for several days for a repair, then drive back home. However, Phil arranged to meet me half way (Sudbury) on a Saturday, so I didn't have to miss work and gave me the keys to a loaner (new X1 !!) He took my car back to Hamilton. On the Monday, Phil called me and let me know that BMW was changing the gearbox and would also change out the clutch, P plate and release bearing (since they had it apart anyway !!). A week or so later, I arranged to again meet in Sudbury and exchange vehicles. I want to point out that all this was at no cost to me, AND BMW (Phil) made the original exchange based on my "say so" as they hadn't inspected the car at that point. I have no doubt that if I had been dealing with the Ford or GM dealership in the Soo, I would still be arguing that the gearbox had issues !! Yes... there was an issue with the gearbox, however, that could happen with any car. The important thing for me was how the dealership took care of the issue as this quelled any misgivings I had with BMW. Budds in Hamilton was fantastic and I will certainly visit them for my next BMW purchase ! More
Worth the wait After many years and a number of different cars and vans raising our family it was time to look for a new car to satisfy my sense of style and class. After many years and a number of different cars and vans raising our family it was time to look for a new car to satisfy my sense of style and class. After a number of test drives I kept thinking of the 330i X drive , black sapphire metallic with the most striking interior that I have ever seen. We put Kyle through a tough negotiation and he was professional and very personable. I love this car and all of the features and German engineering. More

Decio goes above and beyond - he's always taken exceptionally good care of us. A luxury vehicle can be a bit more costly to maintain, but we rarely had any serious mechanical problems. When the time came at last to trade in our beloved 330i, we initially considered an X5, but my wife wasn't ready for an SUV. Peter in Sales was an absolute pleasure to work with as we spent a couple weeks considering (and test driving) a couple of other vehicles. My wife finally settled on her dream car, and she's over the moon - ecstatic with her new set of wheels. And the best part is the whole experience of working with people who know their vehicles inside out and want to find the right car for their clients! Honestly, I have nothing but great things to say about Decio, Peter, Bryce, and the whole team at Budds in Hamilton. You can tell that they love what they do, and take it from me, we're hard to please. I recommend them to my friends and family. Absolutely top notch. More
Last time there. A check engine light on my 2013 X1 came on. I called BMW Hamilton and was advised to bring it in. "We'll put it on the OBD and figure out what it is"I A check engine light on my 2013 X1 came on. I called BMW Hamilton and was advised to bring it in. "We'll put it on the OBD and figure out what it is"I was told. So I drive from Port Dover to Hamilton and the service rep goes to the car and says "Ya that's a check engine light". Back inside the dealership he says "we can't look at it until Thursday". I told him we were taking the car on holiday but would bring it in on Thursday. I was given three possible times and chose 910 am. I was then asked if I would like a ride somewhere as it could be four to five hours before the car was seen. I asked why so long and he said the appointment was only a time to drop the car off. He then told me that it could take an hour to an hour and a half on the OBD to get the trouble code. They offered to get me a rental car to go home. I walked out and went down the street to a garage that is doing a bang up business on BMW, Audi Volkswagen etc. My problem was diagnosed in 15 minutes, repaired in 3 1/2 hours and I was on my way. I love my BMW, I just can't stand BMW service. I won't be back. More
