Poorly Organized; Inattentive Staff For the second time - simple service of my BMW- I have had a very poor experience. Upon entry (inaccurate signs leading in the wrong door, necessitati For the second time - simple service of my BMW- I have had a very poor experience. Upon entry (inaccurate signs leading in the wrong door, necessitating going around and through and into the service bay), I waited to drop off my keys and get a shuttle to work (which I indicated in my online booking). Not one of the 4 service people (all on their computer terminals) looked up, much less greeted me or made eye contact. Finally, I was told to wait for a shuttle (30 minutes - late for work!). While I waited, the front desk personnel chatted on their personal phones and shared gossip. If I could, I would take my car elsewhere for service - no fancy price tag is equal to decent service, courtesy, and professional treatment. More

This starts with the extremely poor attendance at the Service Appointment booking desk, where it would appear that no one is ever at the desk at the call is never answered. The phone just rings and goes to voice mail. The return call, if there is one, takes hours. There is also a breakdown in communication between this desk and the actual service representatives. As for the service itself, they have gone from being the best in the business, to something not much better than Canadian Tire. I have had 3 incidences in the past year when I have picked the car up and the sensor settings have not been adjusted so I get false alerts telling me that the tires are deflating for example. I have had cars returned with flat tires or damaged wheel rims that were not there when I left the vehicle. I am the owner of 3 BMW's. I live in Toronto, but I have used the Hamilton location due to the extraordinary service I received from both the Sales and Service teams. Sadly, this standard has slipped, due to the departure of some key personnel and likely from a result of the major renovation that took place at the location over the past 18 months. It looks pretty but they lost something critical along the way. I am very unlikely to return to this location. More

Horrible scamming experience Worst experience ever: Very hard to find anyone to pick up the phone for appointment. I had to drop by and do it After week waiting , Dropped off the my car for oil change and oil leak. Received an email next day saying they did the diagnosis and I have to wait since they couldn’t get a chance work on my car and give me an estimate almost $1900 Third day, received a call saying the can’t open the hood even though they did for inspection and diagnose. They have to replace the hood cables and hooks and may cost 500-600? Apparently they are not responsible if they break it in their possession either I had no choice then just to say go ahead and do it 2 hours later received another call saying they can’t put the plastic cover back since it’s old Putting new cover and gasket cots another 600 plus 3 hours labour? Same thing no choice except saying go ahead and do it. Received call saying the car is done Went to pick up the car, noticed no oil change was done, they said “did you ask for oil change”? I said yes and that was the reason why I booked the appointment. I said check the mileage, it due already He checked and said oh no it’s not due, you have another 17000 left. I said how come you did in the past every 10-12000 and now saying 25,000? He insisted it’s ok. Started the car, the fix light indicator was on? Asked why this is on and why you didn’t replace the burned light? Again heard the explanation which didn’t make sense. I don’t think I can take my car to them again. More

Great Service - As Always My BMW 328xi is a little over three years old and it was time for a standard service appointment - oil change, car inspection, and brake fluid refill. My BMW 328xi is a little over three years old and it was time for a standard service appointment - oil change, car inspection, and brake fluid refill. I left the car in the morning and took a shuttle to work. When the time came for me to retrieve the car, Budds sent a taxi to bring me back to the dealership. Everything was handled properly and I was able to drive away in my freshly washed car. As always, Budds was professional and handled all the details flawlessly. My decision buy a replacement BMW three years ago can certainly be traced to the great service experience I have had at Budds. More
