I have to say that it was more than worth my while to drive 3 hours from Cape Breton to be greeted by an entirely wonderful staff at Blaikies! My experience at Blaikies is how all dealerships should run their business. There is much to be learned from this crew! Great Team My name is Susan Cashin and I live in Port Felix, Guysborough County. It wasn't until the day I stopped in to see Drew Dobson at Blaikies in Truro that I decided I was going to purchase a new vehicle and it had to be from him. Drew was just so helpful, very professional and answered all my questions. If he did not know the answer he would go looking for it and would always come back with it. He was very cheerful and had alot of positive energy. After I left the dealership I texted him many, many times and I would get an answer within minutes. This is my 6th vehicle that I have purchased and I can honestly say that he was the most impressive salesperson. Keep up the great work Drew!! Now there were a few bumps along the way. It did take more time than anticipated to get the vehicle shipped. Of course I had to get exactly what I wanted so it had to be built with my options. That's where Eric Mucle came in to the picture. He went the extra mile to make sure I was happy with my purchase after waiting a bit longer than anticipated. I also met Gina Macleod who was very professional and quite skilled in her work. My experience overall was very positive; I had just moved to Truro and ruined the front end of my 2010 Jeep in a pothole and thus was introduced to the Blaikies service team, who I cannot praise enough. As a result of having my 2010 Wrangler serviced I received a coupon in the mail for additional finances to be put towards trading in the 2010. I was not in the market for a new Jeep at the time but decided to look online at the inventory anyways, and of course I found a 2014 Wrangler that I couldn't live without and went into the dealership to test drive it. I was greeted by a gentleman who pointed me in the direction of Drew who was very social and answered all of my questions in regards to what I had received in the mail. It was refreshing to go into a dealership and be treated like a serious buyer, as in the past as a young female who tends to shop for vehicles by herself, I have quite often been over looked or not taken seriously. Drew wasted no time in having my vehicle appraised and obtaining the keys to the two 2014 Wranglers that I was interested in. I test drove one of the Jeeps and fell in love, Drew and negotiated the price; the only reason I state the price as "good" and not "great" is because the vehicle was advertised for one price online and a different price within the dealership ... It was explained to me that this is because the different fees are not included in the online price, but I did find that to be a little misleading. From a customer service standpoint Drew goes above and beyond and worked with me to ensure that the vehicle included everything option wise that I requested and worked with me to find a suitable payment. I have owned the vehicle for about a month now and I am still in regular contact with Drew asking him a number of questions I'm sure he could do without, but he always does the research to find the answer or puts me in contact with someone who has the answer. After my dealing with Drew I was directed to Gina who is completely a ray of sunshine and will brighten anyone's day. Similarly to Drew, Gina will bend over backwards to ensure your needs are met and went above and beyond for me not only in dealings with the Jeep but also in trying to help me settle into to the strange little town of Truro. Gina and I went over everything from the financing to undercoating to warranty on my gigantic tires and rims and continually greets me with a smile whenever I go to the dealership. More

Me and my family have purchased 7 vehicles from blaikies in the last 7 years, me myself owing 3 of them. I went in to purchase a new truck costing $65000. I absolutely loved the truck for the first couple o in the last 7 years, me myself owing 3 of them. I went in to purchase a new truck costing $65000. I absolutely loved the truck for the first couple of weeks until things started to go wrong. The truck I purchased had extra parts put on by blaikies such as rims, tires, fender flares and a Weston bar on the front. I bought the extended warranty for the wheels and tires as they were expensive! 2 weeks after owing the truck I pulled into work and the truck was smoking from under the hood blaikies told me they wouldn't come and pick it up I had to drive it over not knowing whether it was going to catch fire or not. Eventually they came with a tow truck and dropped a loan truck off to me which the front was all smashed in. When my truck went onto the falt deck it was in mint condition besides the smoking under the hood! The next day they called to say I had taken it in the mud and there was nothing they would do, funny that as all the ground was frozen and snow covered. No mud insight except a dirt road! I didn't realize I wasn't allowed to drive on dirt roads with the 35" tires they put on which May have caused mud to fly! They tell me the keys are in the gas cap and to come and get my truck! I pull up to my truck to see the Weston bar had been snapped off the front so I called the next day they said it was already broken so they decided to break it off completely then wanted to charge me $450 to replace it! Not a chance!!!! Then the rims started to rust, I thought I would be ok with that as I paid an extra $2000 extend warranty on them ha no they wouldn't even talk to me! I will never purchase anything from them again and I will tell anyone not to go there for the worst service I have ever seen! More

i received a call from chrysler canada about a fair trade value on my 2008 charger so i thought i would check it out knowing i have had some troubles with my credit from a past relationship and never believe value on my 2008 charger so i thought i would check it out knowing i have had some troubles with my credit from a past relationship and never believed i would ever be able to buy what i wanted. when i walked in the doors of Blaikies Dodge Chrysler i met a salesman Bill and he asked if he was able to help me i said i am not sure, he said come in and have a seat and tell me what you looking for so i told him then told him my misfortunes and said i was probally just dreaming about something new thinking it would never ever happen. i told Bill i would love to have a brand new ram 1500 truck he said lets got look at some and we did, he threw me the keys and said take it for a drive not just a drive around town take it for a drive. when i returned Bill had been talking to Colin and Erik and they all came in to Bills office with me and laid out some numbers that really surprised me. i am now driving in my new ram 1500 quad cab and loving it. i have already sent a freind of mine to see them and he has purchased a new car from them also and i will continue to recommend anyone i know to Blakies Dodge Chrysler. these three guys went above and beyond to make my dream reality thanks Bill Colin and Erik.
