I had a really bad experience from Birchwood toyota. . Where I go for my vehicle service, since over 10 years (since it was woodhaven).. I am sharing it so that, this will help someone in future. I accidently came to know about, how they make false claims and making customers to spend unnecessary money. In their invoice, if it is something said as "caution". It is mainly for them to make some money for repairing something which is not necessary. But even though it is said as caution in the invoice, advisor will push us to do that repair. Reason why they mention that as caution is for them to justify their part. If we take the vehicle to another service center and they tell us, there is nothing wrong with it. I was told to replace something last year, and I didn't got an appointment at birchwood and had to vehicle to another technician and he said it is not to be replaced. So I was curious and took my vehicle back to birchwood this year and they didn't mentioned about it this time at all. So I spoke to them regarding the same and this what I understood. They are just pushing services by false claims and they put mention it as a caution. If we find out they willsay, it is machine, it could break down tomorrow or may be after an year that is why its mentioned as caution. But what as advisor push us to do the service. We will just do without second thoughts. And we are scared of getting stuck in the middle of road. They are just using that scare to drive their business. Which I understood after years. It will be better to have a second inspection before jumping into a decision to get it fixed at Birchwood. I could never have understood this, if I have got an appointment at birchwood for replacing the part. Hope this will help someone.. More

I bought my Rav4 in 2009 and I've always taken it to Birchwood Toyota in Pointe West for servicing. All the service advisors I've dealt with have been courteous, professional and have given me sound and Birchwood Toyota in Pointe West for servicing. In January 2023, we got our new car, a Toyota Highlander and we were very happy. However the car came with two missing parts, one is the second key and the other one is the carpet mat. We asked several ti and we were very happy. However the car came with two missing parts, one is the second key and the other one is the carpet mat. We asked several times our salesman, how long does it need to get the missing parts. The only last answer, we don't know yet. What the heck needs so a long time? This is definitely not great customer service! Now, it is six months ago and not any response or parts :-( More
