Poor customer service -Bavaria Brought BMW X5 to Bavaria BMW for summer tires installing and replacement of one back tire at 1230. Got shuttle to the restaurant near by 5 mins away. The service person, Michelle, stated that the vehicle Should be done by 3 pm. At 245pm, received a call saying that has no tire available in stock. Gave me option if I want to leave the SUV overnight or take the it home with the one tire that has metal nail on it. As explained that the one tire will be arrived at 1100 tomorrow. I said it would be better to leave the car there but i need a shuttle home. She denided, stated that we can only make one transfer. So I asked, is it safe to drive the car with a one back defected tire home? She then said if it is not running over 80km/ hr., also mention to top up the tire pressure to last till tomorrow. Then I told her that I need to consult with somebody and will call her back. With in 2 mins, while I am talking to my husband, she called back. Stated that they can leave thoses winter tires on but I have to bring the car back tomorrow for replacement. I told her that I am not available tomorrow morning and I want to leave the car there so it will b ready for to pick in the afternoon when I am available. And I also need a ride home. Still not offer any alternate options. I told her that it is shouldnt take this long for you guys to find out that you don't the tire on stock and you guys should show some responsibilities for letting me wait from 1230-1445 to find out that nothing have been done. She went to talk to somebody and came up with solution that they will pay for a taxi fare to my home and will get shuttle to pick me up when the car is ready. This shows poor judgmental and trying to push away the mess they made to their own customer who pay for their services. If I didn't get assertive to her, I wouldn't get any alternate option. Also there is safety concern that should be taken to consideration seriously. Ignoring their customer'safety is unacceptable.This upper management should review this safety issue further, if they care for their business or customers. One hour later I got a shuttled back to Bavaria BMW to pick up some documents in the vehicle. I requested to talk to a service manager to express my concern.I had spoken to Amy, the manage for service department, they told. First of all, she has no personal skill and very rude. She didn't even look at me but keeping typing on her computer while I was expressing my concern to her. She noticed that I stopped talking (because I don't get why she has to be so rude).She responded that she e-mailing out to find out where is the tire will come from. I explained that I am not happy about that I have to wait until 15 mins to 3 pm ( pick up time) to learned that no tire available in stock. She replied that the appointment time I have was made at the appointment department not with the mechanical service department. So buy the time the mechanic available to see my car it was almost 130pm. She also gave metaphor that it is like when I have to wait for my doctor appointment. This shown that she has no emphatic and no brain. She might have forgot that we pay for the service and people expect quality out of it. I almost tell her that people expect to wait to see a doctor because we have a universal health care ( free to all) and shortage of physicians. But I didn't as I don't want to be rude. She mentioned that this is common for the waiting time everywhere else even with her own Jaguar. I do not care what kind of car she drive, what I concern is the service quality. She should do some more research about her job, since she is called manager. There are some other dealership such as Lexus, Mercedes, Toyota, and Nisan that provide better service and customer relationship. These dealerships ientio ed above are more reliable and appriciate their customers. Most of the staff at Babaria BMW appear to be so superior even with their own customers who keep their business running, I feel. In my view, BMW has a high class vehicle but a low class service. I would not recommend to anybody for the service department. More
