Paul was very helpful in giving me a good test drive before I booked the vehicle and Steve was more of a right person who actually advised me one of the best finance option and warranty plan for the vehicle. I would definitely recommend anyone to approach Barrie Subaru for their car needs. More

We already loved its dependability, AWD and safety protection. We chose the Forester again because of the comfort and cargo room. The visual for the driver is like being in a fish bowl. We are new to the Eyesight technology and were given instruction by Diane on its features before driving off the lot. We look forward to working with Barrie Team Suburu in keeping our vehicle running well. More

Horrible Customer Service Nightmare This is the story of my experience with Barrie Subaru: I decided on a Subaru Impreza but noticed it had an airbag sensor issue, which I told them a This is the story of my experience with Barrie Subaru: I decided on a Subaru Impreza but noticed it had an airbag sensor issue, which I told them about and they seemed to brush off and said it would be looked at (their dismissive attitude to this issue should have been my first red flag to walk away). I bought the vehicle on November 22, they said my vehicle would be ready to pick up that Saturday November 25th. On November 24th they text me at night to indicate there were actually air bag sensor issues and that my car would not be ready until next week. I requested a rental car, and they gave me one. The following Saturday I went and picked up my car. I was very excited and happy as it was my first big purchase. I drove the car home and once I parked it in my driveway I noticed first that the car was horribly detailed and had stains all over the back, and then noticed the front bumper was cracked, and it had a large scrape of yellow paint down the side as if someone hit it against a curb. I texted my salesperson Luke and he said bring the car in Monday and we will see what we can do to fix things. I brought the car to the dealership, and upon looking at the car Luke stated that those damages were not on the car, and that he would have never sold me a car with those damages and that someone in their service and detailing department was being looked into about the damages sustained to my car, in their possession! I informed them I no longer wanted that car as those damages were not on the car when I bought it, and I now had no idea what had happened to the car. Dave Morrison the used car sales manager was very unprofessional and less than helpful when dealing with the situation, and very dismissive towards my Mother and I. He said he would "see what they could do to make me happy" "but could make no guarantee" and that I would hear from them in a day or two, and they would give me a rental car in the meantime. First of all I did not hear from them for 3 days, and was becoming concerned with their overall attitude towards fixing my car. They then text me after 3 days and said "the rust on your car has been fix, we have redetailed the car and you can come get the car". At this point I was beyond frustrated and contacted legal counsel, as they were now ignoring that someone at their dealership had damaged my car. My lawyer contacted Dave and he had a very careless attitude about the whole situation, and even went on to tell my lawyer " the damages were on the car when she bought it and we aren't fixing them". This statement was far from the truth as I had pictures of the car the day I purchased it which show that these damages were not there. When told we had pictures of the car previously without the damages Dave stated "that they had asked to see the pictures and I refused" which was never the case, as up until that point they had no idea I even had pictures of the car predamages, and were stating I had bought it in that condition. Dave did a lot of back peddling, and gave my lawyer the run around by avoiding phone calls, and emails, and then had Luke texting me stating I needed to return the rental car as they had people interested in purchasing it. All the while still refusing to address what was going to be done to fix my car! Finally after my lawyer sent them the pictures Dave said "their manager had given them permission to fix the damages" and they fixed the damages to the car. I purchased my car on November 22nd, and finally after fighting with the Barrie Subaru dealership for weeks had the car in my possession on December 16th. Overall my experience with Barrie Subaru was horrific, and I would never recommend anyone buy a car from them. They are dishonest, dismissive, and do not have their customers best interest in mind. I am very disgusted that I had to seek legal counsel for their dealership to acknowledge the damages their employees inflicted on my car, and equally disgusted that they think that lying to a customer is acceptable. Barrie Subaru and Dave Morrison took an experience that was supposed to be exciting and happy and turned it into an utter nightmare for me. I am now left with a car I do not want, and a car that I have no idea what they actually did to it as they refused to disclose what actually happened to my car at their dealership. I will never buy another Subaru in my life because of the way I was treated by Barrie Subaru More

(only on manual transmission models) They took 3 weeks to complete the job, after telling me that it would take a few days. 3-5 to be precise. When I brought it in, I mentioned to the service manager, Crispin Hudson that I had received a notice in the mail for a recall on the wiper motor. I asked him if, while they had it, could they perform the recall work on the wiper motor. Absolutely! we can do that for you, no problems at all. Was Crispin Hudson's reply. Fast forward 3 weeks. I got the car back, after Hudson's repeat remarks about how they had to "spin the tires on the rim" and repeatedly measure the "ground force vibration" which they claim never came in to a good reading etc etc. My reply was "so you rebalanced the tires and it still didn't work out for you and this machine is the excuse you're using for keeping my car an extra 2 weeks." Sounds reasonable? a day after I got the car back I looked at the paperwork. No recall wiper motor paperwork. I call Hudson back and ask about since I had to rent a car for 3 weeks I figured enough was enough and they should maybe give me a loaner for the duration of this fix which could take weeks (I figured) since it took them 3 to do a job that was supposed to take a few days. Crispin Hudson suggested instead that they could send some people to pick up the car at my place of business, do the job, then drop it back off before I was finished my work day. I figured "perfect" again. I told him I have a very tight schedule and we agreed on an exact time for the pickup, complete with instructions for the drivers to call me so I could go out and give them keys etc. Time came, and went. No call from drivers. nothing. I called Hudson (who was now unavailable perpetually and available only by voicemail) My next course of action was to call and ask for the general manager, Rick Greenspan. At the time his voicemail indicated he was the assistant G.M. at the time. I left a message asking him to please call me at his earliest convenience. No reply. Ever. Crispin Hudson obviously had gaslighted his own reality to the then Asst G.M. , and sighted me as a problem or something to cover up his shortcomings. -Eff You Barrie Subaru management. This was a very large & new purchase for me so I wanted to feel and be confident with my choice & not once did you pressure or make me feel as though I was wasting your time. As soon as I walked into the dealership, I was made felt at home and comfortable. I was offered coffee and TinBits and my son, popcorn! I would without a doubt refer not only the brand Subaru, but I would recommend Paul as their sales rep. Because of the positive feedback I received about Paul's personable personality, I drove an hour out to buy my car! More
