Within the 15 minutes that it took to reprogram the tail gate of my 2014 Forester, I had purchased another car. Yes, I am a happy Subaru driver and am pleased to re-commit myself to the brand. Subaru cars are a solidly build product that are reliable and safe to drive. Maintaining the car is simple and cost effective. The Subaru company has pragmatically and steadily improved its features and designs over the few years that it has been in Canada. That being said; it has built a solid reputation for customer satisfaction that has earned respect from consumers and industry competition. The quality of the dealerships is improving and the after sales service component does a respectable job of maintaining the product at a fair price. Barrie Subaru sales staff know their product and I've found that they have the right attitude when dealing with the customer. As with any brand that is growing quickly; there are growing pains. The dealership sometimes struggle to fit appointments that are timely and convenient. However, expanded service facilities with improved and renovated show rooms will build customer confidence for the legions of potential Subi customers that have yet to adopt this pragmatic brand.
