Purchase of a 2014 Honda Accord EXL coupe Gene and Jennifer were both very pleasant and professional. I am a long time customer of Gene and this is the fifth Honda I have purchased from him. Gene and Jennifer were both very pleasant and professional. I am a long time customer of Gene and this is the fifth Honda I have purchased from him. My daughter also bought a Honda Fit from him two years ago. We plan to trade our new car in three years from now and we will come back to Gene to make the purchase. When Manager Don Hodgin came in to thank us for the purchase and give us our gift he was pleasant but a bit pushy. When he learned our daughter, who was with us, had a two year old Honda Fit, he started pressuring her about buying a new car next year. He was high pressure in his approach and even followed us out to the lot when we were getting things out of our old car. He asked her to make an appointment to see the new models when they come out. She was very uncomfortable with his approach and we all left feeling quite annoyed. I am sure he thought he was being friendly and doing his job but it was just too pushy. To say the least our experience would have been much better without having to deal with his high pressure sales tactics at the end. Our daughter told me later that when she is ready for a new car she will call Gene but would never deal with Don. Our loyalty is to Gene and Honda, not to Bannister Honda and Don Hodgin. We have always been treated well by all departments at this dealership and have recommended it to many of our friends but we will avoid contact with the manger in the future. More

Service costs have increased substantially and customer service has fallen right off. I would no longer recommend Honda to anyone I know. I was caught off guard by the old "cabin filter needs replacement" and 'windshield wipers are noisy and should be changed by our technician". This is on a less than 2 year old vehicle with barely 20,000 km on it. Does this rip off sales technique actually work on most people? I know many women that get scammed by this type of stuff but sure didn't expect it on myself. $260 and they can't even be bothered to give your vehicle a vacuum so it looks like it was professionally serviced. I'm disgusted with my latest experience and am shopping for service elsewhere. More

"A breath of fresh air" This dealership renewed my faith in customer service !! I had a bad experience at a dealership, they basically took my car as trade, sent it to the a This dealership renewed my faith in customer service !! I had a bad experience at a dealership, they basically took my car as trade, sent it to the auction and when I wanted to return the car that I had purchased due to "thumping" noises and a steady "shake" in the car - I was told "it sucks to be you !" I stopped payment on the cheque I had written for the new car (paid cash) and left the car there. I walk with a cane, was not offered a ride home nor the money they got for the trade in. Does anyone know how to spell "screwed" - big time. From the moment Gene approached myself and my wife on the Bannister Honda lot I felt like a customer that Gene wanted to make feel comfortable with my buying experience. I was not planning on buying a new car, a good used was what I had intended to purchase. But after walking through the lot I suggested to my wife "let's see how much the payments would be to buy new." When we mentioned this to Gene within 10 minutes he returned with the figures and we all went to work. What a good feeling it was working with Gene and Jennifer. I will tell everyone I know about my great experience @ Bannister Honda. More

Was provided with a "loaner" on one visit, and a ride on another. last visit was short so just made use of the lounge. We really appreciate the exterior wash up too. . More
