Started at the Toyota in Kanata - I went to see a Highlander and the guy gave me a bunch of B.S. and at the very end told me that the car he was showing me was sold but he could order one for me. Why would you not tell me at the beginning of the conversation? Fast Forward to the next day I went to Toyota on Bank Street. I dealt with Rob and honestly the best person I have dealt with. He was easy to talk to and honest. The process was smooth even after someone (no names) tried to upsell me on everything else. So a few months go by and get a text - From Rob and he just replied saying hope I was enjoying the car and any issues to please let him know. Toyota if you are listening... Treat your customer like Rob would. Down to earth and someone to listen to what you are actually looking for. Will be in the market for a Hybrid sometime soon and will go back to Rob. You're the man! Do not take advise from Bank Street Toyota service department. I called the service department because my remote auto starter was not working and she advised me to have my tire sensors checked becaus department. I called Uni-glass Plus/Zeibart where the auto remote starter was installed on my 2020 Toyota Camry at purchase from Bank Street Toyota. The issue was cleared up in two minutes and the remote starter is working again. This is the bad advise you receive from Bank Street Toyota service, apparently the service advisor doesn't know her job or what she is talking about. I highly recommend using another dealership or mechanic shop. More
To Keep away. Went for first check up and replaced the air filter at 15k just to charge something. 3 weeks after my last tire rotation los 2 nuts on 1 tire. Had to stop on highway and pull one nut off another tire to keep going since car was shaking. I decided to the oil change myself after my plan was over and there was not even a washer in the bolt. Great salesman person though but keep away from all their extras, Toyota’s do not need it. More
I investigated buying a new RAV 4 and as a returning customer (my third RAV4) was offered a. special interest rate of 5.6%! In addition, I had a small accident and they deducted the entire cost of the customer (my third RAV4) was offered a. special interest rate of 5.6%! By law dealers are not allowed to deduct. more than half the repair costs. Needless to say, I will never buy a car from them again. Their philosophy is certainly different from Mr. Mendes. More

I visited this location for warranty work on my new RAV4 for side mirror work, They fix it after 2 appointment. And at the time of delivery they forgot to put one of the plastic panel pieces. As well as they made nice scratch on door panel, my new car just 2500km driven. I will never visit this place again. All the Technician are lack of training. In the past in 2020, during the fuel pump recall, i left my old Corolla for recall work. And they misaligned "o" ring, and i was not able to drive my car for 4 months. More
I brought my car in for safety check at the end of the lease, the staff was pleasant they sent me on the way all was good. They totally walking on eggshells with their Technician to avoid upsetting him. I went in for a safety a couple of months ago to be told that my 2018 Rav 4 doesn't pass inspection due to the Window Tint ( which they had installed by their recommended company ). The Tint shade was too dark according to a new law that passed a couple of years ago. There should have been a Grandfather clause that pardons stuff that was done before the law passed. They never checked into any Grandfather clause with the MOT. In short I paid 400$ for the Window Tint meant nothing to the Technician as he wouldn't pass safety until the Tint was removed. Also they wanted to charged me for the Tint removal, I was flabbergasted after discussion about this issue and hours later decided I was tired of waiting to get this resolved . I told them finally to have the Tint removed and told me to come back the next day to have it done The Sales Manager at the time Micheal ( not the service manager) was kind enough not to charge for the Tint removal .But what a waste of time ...After the Tint removal the Technician recommended a Brake cleaning. After waiting for hours about the Tint issue and then having to go back the next day, I told them that I would book another appointment next month for the Brake inspection . Well, a month went by and guess what happened? I had my Brake cleaning done because of Rust build. Keep in mind this is a Toyota dealership they should have pride with the work they do .... 3 days after the so-called cleaning ,rusty build up again on the outer fascia's for all 4 brakes... wowwww what a great cleaning you should be proud of yourselves backing up this type of work being performed. My husband complained one week later that we were not at all happy. He conversed with the Service Advisor plus with the Service Manager and nothing was offered as to recleaning the outer fascia's. I will no longer drive 45 minutes to Bank St Toyota for my services anymore . See pictures attached, as these are taken 4 days after the service was done........ you be the judge. More
