Sadly enough in this day and age I have found over the course of time that some salesmen do not take a personal interest in what people want and therefore not acting on their behalf. Karim was a joy to work with and was very helpful. He was professional and familiar with the features of the car. I recommend the customer receives a check list of all paper work or items required to finalize a sale. This will prevent frustration and delay. Both Karim and Moe had told me that all I needed was to bring my license and ownership (trade in). The day of my pick up I was told late in the day to bring a banks draft for my deposit (assuming credit card was enough) and my spouse’s proof of ownership to receive a loyalty discount (owns a Mazda speed). My spouse was travelling and may have been tough to reach causing delay in the purchase. I fortunately was able to reach him quickly and he just happened to have what I needed, took a picture of the ownership and emailed to me. The license plates were installed flush to the car without the spacers applied (in a bag in the glove compartment). This can potentially lead to damage to the paint. Karim is now aware as I brought this to his attention. Moe, although friendly couldn’t give me a straight answer when I asked him about the rust/paint protection plan. I wanted to know what the overall total was, not bimonthly payments. He hesitated and couldn’t give me a sure answer. I lost trust in him at that point as he should know this off that bat. Speaking with other sales members as I waited around for numbers to be calculated deemed uneducated in their product. I asked one associate if the wheels provided were all season or summer only. This person had no idea assuming it could be summer but wasn’t sure. To me this would have been a simple question to answer. All sales should follow David Mallock’s lead (perhaps be in his shadow when trained). He obviously loves his job, gets excited about the cars, provides demonstrations and really knows them inside and out. Aside from sales, I was interested in buying mats and left a message with the parts department for a call back. Never happened. This leaves me with a bad impression. Hopefully this improves next time. I recommend Karim or David for sales enquiries. As this is my first car their customer service (parts) will need to shine much brighter. More
There was a mix-up which caused us to have to come back a second time to pick up our new Mazda 2, but we were very happy with the price and the service. Staff was apologetic about the delay and issued a cre second time to pick up our new Mazda 2, but we were very happy with the price and the service. In June 2013 a friend of mine purchased a Mazda 3 GT from Sunny. The experience was a very pleasant one for him as he received first class treatment AND got a super deal with many extras thrown in. I was so impressed that I told Sunny that if/when it was time for me to purchase another vehicle, I would certainly return and deal with him. Fast forward to October 2013 - I had decided it was time to trade in my 2010 Mazda 3 - Sunny again provided top notch customer service to me - no pressure, friendly sales and he got me as good a deal as my friend, including the extras. Mike Webb made the normally "painful" experience of financing quite a pleasant one. He was polite and professional, efficient and very well organized and I was in and out of the office in a decent amount of time. Overall an excellent experience at Bank Street Mazda - one which I will highly recommend to friends and colleagues. Thanks again to Sunny and the team for making buying a car a pleasure! More

Ivan the Great was the lead (excuse the pun), Kevin was most professional and very thorough in explaining the financing and extended warrantee options, and Irena was kind enough to present the vehicle to us as Ivan was otherwise engaged (some license plate attachment situation that needed to be resolved to that customers satisfaction). When we left we knew we got a fair deal - a deal that left a few dollars on the table, from both of us. A deal that was fair to both. A win-win. I have a tendency to drive a hard bargain because, in the end, it does not matter (to me) if we buy in Cornwall, Ottawa, Hawkesbury, or (heaven forbid) the Center of the Universe (some call that TO). At one point we were close to $2000 apart (we had a trade-in as well). Ivan narrowed that in a most professional way. I am not sure if Ivan, and your team is familiar with Fisher and Uri's "Getting to Yes". If not you may want to read it - if you have read it ...... it shows. Ivan was never a hard sales type. If he was, in any way, we would have walked. I blindly contacted Ivan last Fri. by e-mail - he responded promptly. The next day we all met. When we left we had purchased an SUV. My main praise is directed towards Ivan, not that Kevin & Irena were not great, because they were. Ivan was our main contact and he delivered (and took the most abuse from me). He was our 1st and last contact and he was very easy to deal with. He has a great sense of humour, and my gut told us we can trust him. I trust my gut. Ivan is a credit to your well run company - perhaps, in part, this explains your success. More
