Dishonest and incompetent People I Have serviced my vehicle there many times since 2012 due to the fact that I moved to the area and live very close to the dealership. They used to ha I Have serviced my vehicle there many times since 2012 due to the fact that I moved to the area and live very close to the dealership. They used to have value service package prices on their website, however; every time after the work was done I was charged more. I had to remind them of the prices on their website and they went back and recalculate my bill. One time after they changed my car's oil, the service rep mentioned that my car is going to need front breaks soon. I ask him for the cost. He printed a page for me indicating $476 for break pads and rotors and another $76 for servicing the callipers. I asked why a separate charge for servicing the callipers? I don't think anyone ever change pads whiteout servicing the callipers. He said it is the way they have these set up in their system. When I got home I called another service Center and asked for a quote which they happily provided at $476. I specifically asked if they charge separately for servicing the callipers to which they replied it is already included in the labour. Plus exact same price was on BMW Canada website. Because of these experiences I lost my trust in Serpa and decided to take my car elsewhere for service. Last week however my car developed a pretty bad coolant leak from the expansion tank. I was faced with the decision of towing my car somewhere else or just drive it to Serpa. Due to the high cost of towing a car in Ontario I decided to drive it to Serpa. Before I drove it there I walked to their parts department and purchased some coolant so I don't damage the engine. While there I spoke to service rep about my problem and asked for an appointment. He said to bring the vehicle in ASAP but it may take few days to fix it. He mentioned nothing else. When I drove my car in the same service rep took it in and then he told me there is an $184 diagnose charge!! And that I on top any repair the car may need. I think he could have and should have told me this when I was there earlier that day. At this point I am between a rock and hard place. If I towed my car it would have cost me $200 but at least I I would save on the labour. ( Indy shop called bimmex labour rate is $90/ hour vs Serpa at$140/ hour). I thought that since the car is already here let's just get it fixed. I told him Ok. I mentioned about another problem my car had which was due to imbalance tires. At the speed between 100 and 120 the steering vibrates. He said there another diagnose charge for that. Yes you heard it right another $184. I rolled my eyes and said are you kidding me? Then he said he will wave that for me. I said Ok. And left the car with them. Next day was Friday, another service rep called and said exactly what I told them about the expansion tank and it needle to be replaced. He said they test drove the car and the vibration is due to cracked v belt!!!! . I just lost it I said I don't mind to change a cracked belt but do not tell me that is the cause of vibration at highway speed. He said they test drove it. I said what? How? A car with no coolant can not be test driven in highway speed! you are calling me right now to get authorization to fix my coolant problem, right? He said he is only telling me what the mechanic said and he does not know any more. I thought with myself the coolant leak is getting fixed and replacing a v belt not gonna hurt even though it is not gonna solve the vibration problem. Plus this guy just delivering a message. I authorized the work at cost of 800 plus tax. He then ask if I could go to the dealership to test drive the car with a mechanic, to which I replied how do you expect me to do that when the car has coolant leak problem? So he said they will call me when they replaced the expansion tank and then I can go for test drive. Two day later on Monday they called to let me know the car is ready. This time the first service rep said they found the cause of vibration. He said they think it is because of imbalanced tire.! They should rebalance all 4 tire fir a cost if $165 and then see if they find anything else wrong. But that is the first step. I said no thank you. Just let me pay for work you have done and take back my car. $165 is way too much to balance tires unless you drive 18 wheeler, then it is a bargain. Again when I was explaining my car symptoms the first day, he could mentioned they charge that much for tire balance just like he did with their diagnose charge. Just imagine if my car had no problems other than the imbalance tire ps and I went to them. They would charge me one $184 for test drive and $165 to balance the tires for the grand total of $349 plus taxes. I took my car to active green and Ross and rebalanced only my two front tire at a cost of $15/ tire and the car is smooth again. So in my opinion this service Center is overpriced and way too incompetent for my future needs. I think diagnose charges should apply if they spend time on the car and the customer decides not to do any repair. Servicing a BMW is expensive as is, it does not need ridiculous diagnose charge. Stay away from these guys if you can. More
Terrific Car Buying Experience at Serpa BMW I recently purchased a pre-owned 2012 - 528i that was in immaculate condition, and the team of Tony, Stefano and Michelle treated me like I purchased I recently purchased a pre-owned 2012 - 528i that was in immaculate condition, and the team of Tony, Stefano and Michelle treated me like I purchased a brand new $100,000 car! The sincerity and patience of Tony was refreshing, and the fairness of the deal and after sales service from Stefano was the best I have ever experienced. They also gave me fair value for my trade. Michelle rounded out the business aspect of the sale with thoroughness and without pressure. I may have paid a bit more for the car than other 2012's on the market but the condition of this vehicle and the low mileage made it worth every penny. You usually get what you pay for and my goal was not paying the lowest price on a compromised choice, but finding the perfect 528i and getting the best possible value, and this goal was achieved. I doubt I will buy another BMW anywhere but Serpa. More

Looking through the Serpa BMW web site, I found a 2104 BMW 320i, sport line, x drive, with red leather interior. I told pre-owned manager Tony Ramundi what I thought I could handle and he spoke to sales manager Stefano Serpa and by the time my Dad and I came to see and drive the car, a financing option was worked out that I could accept. They were both great to deal with--very professional and fun. Tony answered all my email questions promptly and handled our visit very well. Also assisting were Neil Stewart and Bridget Adamo, from the business end of things. I am very excited about my BMW. I'd recommend Serpa BMW to anyone who wants an open and transparent sales process and friendly down-to-earth people. And there are amazing BMWs there to look at. Love those M cars, too--someday! More
STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALER FOR SERVICE!!! Went in for an engine light on , oil change and air bag recall. Incompetent diagnosis trying to sell parts that were not required and when challenged Went in for an engine light on , oil change and air bag recall. Incompetent diagnosis trying to sell parts that were not required and when challenged they explained it as the additional parts suggested might be required in future because they are know to fail (COILS) REALLY!! piece of crap cars.... parts that should last the life of the car. They didn't reset the oil service interval mileage reminder or maybe they didn't even change the oil who knows!!! Paid for it though. WILL NEVER GO BACK More
buy a Demo car at serpa and they scam me the mileage I purchased a demo car and paid deposit to hold the car. On the day when I picked up the car, which is only one week later and the mileage went up wit I purchased a demo car and paid deposit to hold the car. On the day when I picked up the car, which is only one week later and the mileage went up with 1000km difference. They didn't even bother to change the mileage on the contract. As I trust in them that "when you put down the deposit, nobody would touch the car", quoted by the sales Kyle Black. So I didn't check the mileage before I signed the final documents. When I noticed the difference in mileage, I called the sales manager Neil Stewart and asked him to justify that. He promised to get back to me the next day. But never heard back from him. More
Disappointing service I brought my car into service to get my winter tires off and at the end of the day they called me and told me they could not find my tires they store I brought my car into service to get my winter tires off and at the end of the day they called me and told me they could not find my tires they stored in the winter time. I rebooked a few weeks later, after phone calls of following up to see if they found my tires. When I finally went in and to get my tires changed, I asked for a discount due to the hassle I went through. They had me talk to Frank Sepra, who is rude and very condescending. He said the accounting department would review and give me a discount if I paid up now. I knew he was not telling the truth but didn't have any other options as he just walked away. I have had BMW's for over 15 years but would never buy another car from Sepra BMW. Frank's attitude has probably affected all the employees and that is too bad. More
Worst customer service I've ever encountered Bought a 2012 X1 from them, was supposed to receive a $1000 credit back on my card as part of the deal, didn't see that until one month later. The X1' Bought a 2012 X1 from them, was supposed to receive a $1000 credit back on my card as part of the deal, didn't see that until one month later. The X1's oil cooler blew and I was told by Thomas that it would be repaired withing 48 hours, 48 hours later it became 3 days. 1.5 weeks later I was infuriated with how they had not once contacted me to update me with this info. Thomas was also terrible with customer service, he was rude and arrogant the entire time. The only reason Serpa gets 2 stars is because Stefano was great to deal with. More
