From the time I arrived at the dealership until Jerry Chi showed me into the insurance office, the service was outstanding. All of my dealings with Audi Richmond staff were informative, professional, and abs showed me into the insurance office, the service was outstanding. I bought a used car from Audi Richmond this week, and the experience was nearly flawless from beginning to end. Because I live on Vancouver Island, Covid restrictions prevented me from going to see the car i experience was nearly flawless from beginning to end. Because I live on Vancouver Island, Covid restrictions prevented me from going to see the car in person when I was ready to buy. When I found the perfect car on autotrader at a price that was almost too good to be true, I almost just wrote it off because it was on the mainland, but decided to reach out to them just in case we could make something work. The price on the vehicle was about $1500 less than the next best one of the same trim, and that one had higher mileage, so I figured it would be gone before I could get it anyway. I ended up dealing with Dylan Hanna, and he immediately started working with me to see if we could make it happen. I put a deposit down on the car, and they happily held it for me for two weeks, while waiting for restrictions to be lifted. Unfortunately, they weren't lifted as soon as we were expecting, so it delayed everything by another two weeks. I fully expected them to say they couldn't hold it any longer, since it would end up being a full month before I would be able to go pick it up. To my surprise, they said they'd hold onto it for me. We started the process of evaluating my trade-in and doing a credit check, all through text messages and e-mails (which is what worked best for me). Dylan was super patient with my questions and always got back to me quickly. When the day finally came for the restrictions to lift and go make the deal, things couldn't have gone better. I was really impressed with the dealer's Covid safety procedures. I didn't feel inconvenienced by them at all, but felt really safe the whole time. I went upstairs to meet Dylan, who guided me to my new car, which was immaculately cleaned, fully fueled up, and fully charged (it's a plug-in hybrid). I couldn't believe how clean the car was for a used vehicle. I could definitely have been convinced that it was brand new if not for the odometer. Dylan took my old car's keys to start evaluating my trade-in, and left me to check out the new one. When he came back, the quote he had given me over the phone had only changed slightly due to some damage that I didn't capture in the photos I had sent in. Considering everything they found, the price they gave me for my car was very reasonable. I'm sure I could have gotten more from a private sale, but I doubt anywhere else would have offered me more on a trade-in. The finance person I spoke with, Howard, was great too. He went over everything in detail, making sure there were no mistakes. There was a bit of confusion at one point over the duration of the extended warranty, but again he made sure that everything was clear before continuing. After finalizing all the financial details, I was taken just down the hall to the insurance people they have in the building. I'm not sure if this is the norm, but it sure made things more convenient. May was fantastic and guided me through my first time doing this in BC. She went over all the details of what to expect and made some great recommendations that helped save me money. Once that was all done, Dylan was right there with me to finish up the process and get me on the road in my new car. He even went out of his way to let me park the new car next to my old one to get some photos of them together. Just before I left, he made some great lunch recommendations before sending me on my way. The whole process took less than 3 hours from the time I pulled in to the time I drove away in my new car. It's been 3 days now and I'm loving the car, no issues at all. Dylan has followed-up with me to make sure everything's going well, and I have no doubt that he'd make it right if it wasn't. Fortunately, everything has been perfect. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another car from Audi Richmond when the time comes, and if I'm still living in the area, I'll be checking there first when I go car shopping next. They were incredibly easy to deal with, and were very transparent with me about everything from start to finish. More
We had a great experience at Audi Richmond. Michael Chen went out of his way to make sure that we were happy and were able to take our car with us the same day - knowing we were traveling from Whistler, he went out of his way to make sure that we were happy and were able to take our car with us the same day - knowing we were traveling from Whistler, he came in early to make sure everything was in good order. This is by far the worst car dealership I've ever dealt with and I've dealt with many. I am 58 years old and, except for my first car, I have always purchased new cars and I have never been so mistreated a with and I've dealt with many. I am 58 years old and, except for my first car, I have always purchased new cars and I have never been so mistreated as I have at Audi Richmond. Except for the parts Manager Chris Hall and Tharsan in maintenance, everyone there from the receptionists to the General Manager (Mark Warsaba) could use some lessons with regards to customer service. I purchased a 2018 Q7 Special Edition (fully loaded) and from day one when we went to pick up the vehicle, my wife and I were extremely disappointed with their lack of customer service. The lady who did the PDI did such a terrible job explaining all the advanced features of the Q7. I had to learn it on my own. A second lady who upsold on us on extended care and protection packages, told us that they would spray the vehicle with ceramic protection coat which cost us over $1200. Of course at the time we trusted her only later to find out that it wasn't what she claimed it was. And to make things worse, the people who applied it ruined the paint on the hood of the vehicle. The damage was only visible under certain light conditions (like the noon sun). When I took it to get a paint protection film (clear bra) installed against rock chips, Ken Wilson, the owner of Autowerkes Exclusive, pointed out the damage. He called it "halo effect" and said it's caused by inexperienced people using a rotary disc buffer. This was further confirmed by Derek at 911 Autoworks. After weeks of back and forth, Mark the General Manager of Audi Richmond finally agreed to refund the $1200 we paid for the protective spray they claimed was ceramic coating. Since then, whenever I brought the vehicle in for maintenance, I would refuse any car washes they offered out of fear of them damaging the REAL ceramic coating that I had a professional apply to the Q7. There are several other instances of poor service but I tolerated them because I liked dealing with Chris from the parts department and Tharsan in maintenance. That said however, last week was the last straw. I had scheduled a maintenance session and when I arrived at the dealership, the valet and receptionist were trying to force me to wear a mask despite the fact that I explained to them that I was medically exempt. Then, they asked me to have a seat and called the GM Mark. The instant he arrived at my table, he opened up with a condescending and sarcastic remark... "Considering everyone else in here, I guess you're the one I have to talk to given that you're the only one not wearing a mask". Again, I informed him of my medical exemption, and although he claimed that he wanted to have a discussion, nothing was further from the truth. He was only interested in a one-sided discussion and paid no attention to anything I had to say. Long story short, he wanted me to wait outside while my car is being serviced, but could not give me the slightest idea how long the wait would be. That upset me to no end. For a 115K+ vehicle, I expected a better treatment than this. So, when I voiced my dissatisfaction with his lack of consideration to my medical exemption with a sarcastic remark of my own, he then decided that he will not service my car and proceeded to bring my car back to the front of the dealership. Then he handed me the key and said "go somewhere else I no longer want you as a customer". So, I did just that. I went to another Audi dealership where I will be trading in my 2018 Q7 for the new 2021 SQ7 for my wife and buying a new RS7 for me. More

Dylan did a great job of looking after everything. Getting the car delivered and driving a few different cars to look at was very helpful in making the final decision. Thanks for all the help.
