Recall work, oil change, brake pad check My Q5 diesel had a recall so I took it in. While there I had them do the service and oil change. The vehicle had about 70,000 kms on it. I was advised My Q5 diesel had a recall so I took it in. While there I had them do the service and oil change. The vehicle had about 70,000 kms on it. I was advised it needed new brake pads. Typically I do my own brake work so I declined saying I would do it myself. That week I took the wheels off to look at the brakes and found lots of brake pad material remaining. I just did the same check last week as the vehicle now has 120,000 kms on it. It still has lots of wear left of the brake pads so won't need replacement for a long time. Audi Kitchener-Waterloo flat out LIED to me about needed repairs. More
