Sales person: Hilbert Wong Finance: Lara Lien Sales (Manager?): Austin Warren Rather than getting into the details of my poor experience at Audi downtown, I'll list here some of the items you need t (Manager?): Austin Warren Rather than getting into the details of my poor experience at Audi downtown, I'll list here some of the items you need to pay attention to if you really have to deal with this dealership: 1- When negotiating the price, don't let the salesperson negotiate with your final price as the starting point (including tax) but rather negotiate the price before applicable taxes, as it will dilute the amount of potential savings you could get. 2- If there are any modifications/repairs needed to the vehicle of interest, avoid having Audi downtown do it on your behalf because they will charge you an outrageous markup, even though they commited that the repairs are at cost (and lie about the markup too). The perception of an honest/professional luxury brand dealership doesn't apply here, not to mention the poor quality of repair even after paying the repair cost plus markup. 3- When dealing with the finance dept, make sure you don't settle for the interest rate they initially offer - especially if you know you have good credit score - because they tend to apply the highest rate, the first interest rate they offered significantly dropped when we refused to add their suspicious additional insurance, and when we told the accountant that we're not taking the additional insurance because of the cost, the reduced interest rate miraculously appeared. 4- Know the ICBC requirements for registering the vehicle or consult a lawyer. They will try to impose lots of other insurances and additional documentation that's either redundant or only beneficial to their associates. Overall, it was one of the worst and most uncomfortable purchases I've ever had. Finally, it's just another cheap used car dealership; act accordingly, as they certainly are a bad representation to the name behind them. More

My new vehicle test-drive was ready and waiting, as promised, they facilitated getting a second certified pre-owned vehicle (the one I purchased) arranged to fit my schedule - with the whole experience smooth and completely unpressured. This includes the financial/sales transaction and vehicle insurance - all done within the short time I had available but not rushed. I am not surprised to see so many positive 5-star reviews, particularly now that I am experiencing the follow-up post-sales customer attention to detail. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a new or used vehicle to start at Audi Downtown Vancouver. That experience will set an extremely high standard for you to compare with other dealerships and if you don't immediately fall in love with your Audi on that first visit - you'll be back - and chances are your Audi Downtown Vancouver sales team will have connected you with colleagues within the Dilawri auto family along the way.
