awesome quality selection and staff Did amazing preapproval financing that made sure we just walked on the lot and bought our dream car with no hassle. Jimmy knew what we wanted and show Did amazing preapproval financing that made sure we just walked on the lot and bought our dream car with no hassle. Jimmy knew what we wanted and showed us several options of exactly what asked for even though I was super picky and VERY exact. Everyone was very efficent, helpful and friendly. Paperwork, options, financing and insurance a breeze. I was anxious about buying a new car but going here there was no need to be. Tons of personal touches and great attention to detail. The 2015 Sorento was a top Consumer Reports suggestion all around... rivaling the less loaded but much more highly priced Toyota and Honda SUVs. What a great vehicle... I'll admit it is not a super sexy looking vehicle but every aspect about that makes up for it. This was amazing all around. Just contact Jimmy and have a look the new Kias will suprise you. LOVED Applewood Kia. More

Worst service i have ever experienced. I made a appointment to have the Kia Recalls done. The dealership phones me the night before to make sure i show up. So i show on time along with a friend of mine to drive me to work. Then the customer service rep said they don't have one of the parts needed. I was pissed after them making sure i was at there on time. Now i have make arrangements for my friend again to drive me another time. Very inconsiderate!!! I left pissed off and called the Ben the manager and said to he would get Allan the service manager to call me. Guess what no call back. Then i called back again and talked to Allan the service manager and he said he would call me back the next day. Guess what again no call again. So i called back to the service manager and what a rude son of a ________. NEVER EVER DEAL WITH THIS. DEALERSHIP. They don't deserve one star. More

awful service department brought my girlfriend's and my car to these guys and both times unnecessary "repairs'' were performed. first time car's front light wasn't working. th brought my girlfriend's and my car to these guys and both times unnecessary "repairs'' were performed. first time car's front light wasn't working. they replaced the bulb, charged me for it and when i checked it the light still wasn't working. took the car to another place they located the problem and fixed it in 30 min (it was a minor wiring issue). i thought, everybody makes mistakes and deserves a second chance (what an idiot!). a few months later i brought my kia rio in because my fuel gauge was acting up. they told me the sending unit was malfunctioning. they also suggested fuel pump replacement (which i'm ok with). they kept my car for about 6 hours. and what a surprise, the gauge is in the same condition. no changes whatsoever. the tech insisted that the sending unit was bad but there's a separate problem (either wiring or cluster). i spoke to the guy i used to go to in ontario and he said that's extremely unlikely. so, they booked me in for another appointment to charge me for diagnosis, which would've taken full day and cost me another $400-500 on top of wasted $600. something's telling me that after keeping my car and charging me for diagnosis, they would've concluded that the cluster has to be replaced, which is another $500. didn't even bother going there again. conclusion: stay away from that place. their techs either have no idea what they're doing or they know exactly what they're doing, which is trying to meet their sales targets by randomly throwing parts in cars. and i'm still searching for a decent mechanic in the lower mainland after almost a year of being here. Fraudulent and horrible review of Dusty Dusty was working at Richmond Kia when my husband and I had the misfortune of meeting him. We came in for a specific Kia Optima EX premium and were as Dusty was working at Richmond Kia when my husband and I had the misfortune of meeting him. We came in for a specific Kia Optima EX premium and were assured by 'Dishonest Dusty' that the car was available. I was upfront about my credit score (which was a 520) and that I was a private contractor on salary. He assured me that there would be no issue financing me and we began the process. When we came back later in the day to pick up our vehicle, he informed us that there had been a miscommunication and the car we came in for was not available......he had what he SAID was an identical car in a different colour. He told us that the car had minor body work after being 'scraped' on the back quarter panel and that it had been so minor that no claim was filed through ICBC. I agreed to the alternate vehicle although I wasn't ecstatic about it, unfortunately there were no other EX premium models available at any other Kia in Canada...allegedly. I felt like I was settling; however I was then told that because that my credit had been pulled (6 times) that I would no longer qualify for financing anywhere else! It ended up taking a month to finalize the deal, due to bank issues resulting from my private contractor status (or laziness on Dusty's part) and during this time Dusty was let go due to shady business dealings wit multiple customers. Fast forward a month and my car was severely damaged in a hit and run accident. At this time it was brought to my attention that our car had not been 'scraped' previously, it had been in a major accident with approximately $8000 worth of damages. Because our car was written off by ICBC and the accident it was involved in previously, the money we received back from them was less than what we paid in cash at the time of our purchase! On top of that we still owed around $6000 on the vehicle and after all was said and done we came out losing a lot of money. I posted this review here rather than at Richmond Kia, as Dusty is now employed here and I want to warn every prospective buyer about Dusty! He is the epitome of a SLEAZY car salesman who will lie, cheat, and steal to make a commission. He not only fails at his job, he is failing at life. Enjoy the Hugo Boss shirt we gave you as a gift for selling us a car dirt bag! More
Courteous and honest I took my 350z for a repair at this place. David took it in. He was extremely polite, explained everything, took his time. The car was fixed pre I took my 350z for a repair at this place. David took it in. He was extremely polite, explained everything, took his time. The car was fixed pretty quickly and they gave it a nice wash. The best part was that changing one dead blinker lights took 30mn vs the hour that they had estimated, and they lowered the price accordingly instead of just lying and charging for an hour like many would do. I don't live in Surrey but I will gladly drive there whenever my car needs anything, because I now know what this dealership is worth! Thanks More
2nd To None! We have purchased several vehicles from Applewood Kia in Surrey, and have received nothing but the very Excellence of service and care! Our company We have purchased several vehicles from Applewood Kia in Surrey, and have received nothing but the very Excellence of service and care! Our company uses the vehicles for very light service work as well as sales calls and they travel mainly in the lower mainland, but are sometimes taken out of town and we have never had any problems. Every very minor issue that we had was usually such as light bulbs needing replacing, and normal service (which we maintain according to their recommendations). We feel that we are in the business of business computers and software and our clients come to us for advice, and if they ask for our advice, we expect them to take that advice. Similarly, Applewood is in the business of selling and servicing vehicles, so if wa ask their advice, we should take it, and if we do, then we have no complaints. Often, we find people ask for advice and then do not take it, and usually something goes wrong and they do not want to accept the fact it is their fault, not the people who gave them the correct advice. Applewood is, in our opinion, second to none, and we will continue to use them. From Linda who is the "ultimate" in reception, , Zora the saleslady who knows what she is selling and why, Shawn and Elisha the greatest Service people around to all the mechanics who have worked on our vehicles, we say a big "Thank you for the Experience"! I have never - in my entire life - been lied too so much I called Alen, at Applewood Kia Surrey, and advised him that I would be heading into the Langley branch (as langley had the new car I wanted on their I called Alen, at Applewood Kia Surrey, and advised him that I would be heading into the Langley branch (as langley had the new car I wanted on their Lot). Alen then said that they have 2 (one satin color and one blue) and that he would beat langleys price. I agreed to come to their site. On arrival Alen said that the manager was using the car, to get lunch, and he would be back in 5 min. Alen also said that they don't have either of the cars he told me they had. The manager arrived back in a white vehicle that was licenced and had 9000km on the clock. Alen claimed that this was a "new vehicle" or at worst a "demo". Anyway - we test drove the managers "new car" and then sat down to purchase a new 2014 that he, confirmed would not be a problem, could get from another dealer. After 30min of haggling I agreed to the price (they beat Langley by $500) and asked Alen to do the paperwork. He asked me to pay the $1000 deposit- which I did. Alen then presented me with the prelim purchase agreement. Upon review I discovered that Alen had written up a completely different vehicle (that we had never discussed) at a much higher price ($40,000). I brought this to his attention and he claimed "my mistake - woopsie". Yet we had spent the last 60 minutes talking about the one specific vehicle that I wanted to buy. I asked him for the correct document and he reluctantly wrote it up (took 30 minutes). By his body language it was clear that he did not intend to complete the deal. Alen promised to call me in 10 minutes once they had confirmed a dealer swap. And that we could leave the dealership. 1 hour passed and no call. So I called Alen and he said they were still confirming the dealer swap. The manger asked me to wait till tomorrow. The next day I receive no call, so I phone them at 1pm - Speak to the manager, as Alen is away, and he says that they still havnt done anything. I ask for my deposit of $1000 back onto my credit card and the manager tells me "that the internet is down and the visa machine is not working" but that he would "refund the money once it is back up". He also said that he would call me once done. (this was sunday. It took till Thursday to get back -and only after I involved KIA Canada head office) I have never - in my entire life - been lied to, and deceived, so many times in one afternoon. More
