Not much to tell.. Engine light came on. I dropped off my vehicle. You change out a ignition coil. You charged me $400 BTW... you charged me $125 for an ignition coil that sells for ~~$25 to $30 US.. - The markup seems just a tad steep to me.... http://www.aliexpress.com/price/honda-civic-ignition-coil_price.html

Thank you for getting back to me. Can you please let me know if you came in to have the problem diagnosed by us or if you had requested that we only replace this part based on a previous diagnosis? The link you sent me is for an aftermarket ignition coil and although it has the same application fitment as a the one I'm confident that we put in here; it is not a genuine Honda part and in my opinion would not have the same manufacturing standards or OEM specifications. Typically, we do not sell aftermarket electrical components like this due to the high possibility of failure as well as a very limited warranty offered from the supplier. The Honda installed OEM part comes with a one year warranty from the install date. I do understand your frustration and very much appreciate your feedback. Yes, your dealership did do the diagnosis. IE - your tech took 3 minutes to plug the OBDC reader into my car's data port to get the fault code.
