Airdrie Honda

When the time came to replace the winter functionality of our old 96 Jeep (very important because we live on an acreage on a hill NW of Calgary and we get a lot of snow) we went looking for a Toyota RAV4 bec our old 96 Jeep (very important because we live on an acreage on a hill NW of Calgary and we get a lot of snow) we went looking for a Toyota RAV4 because our son and DIL owned a RAV4. We also own a 2007 Civic that we bought new at Red Deer Honda. After Airdrie Honda opened for business I started to use their parts and service facility to support the Civic. From that experience I was impressed with the very different "can do and want to do" attitude by the staff in the service and parts dept at Airdrie Honda. So much so that when the time came to look for a "used" Toyota RAV4 I thought we must check out the used vehicles at Airdrie Honda. So we made our first trip to their "used vehicle" lot but did not see the vehicle we wanted at that time. About 3 weeks later we had an appointment to see a new RAV4 at the Toyota dealer in NW Calgary. On the way to the Toyota dealer we had a bit of time on our hands and once again we were smitten by the good vibes we had about Airdrie Honda. So, on this visit we met Brandon Heatherington. He had showed us a 2010 RAV4 that really impressed us. Upon leaving Brandon for our our Toyota appointment we told Brandon in all likelihood we would be back to talk a deal on his RAV4. Sure enough, we made our 3rd trip back and talked turkey with Brandon and came away with the 2010 RAV4 very happy with the experience. That was a month ago (and the weather is now -30C at night) and we are still smiling about the whole experience. More

I had a great experience with Airdrie Honda. As a first time buyer, I expected to go into the dealership and immediately be pressured and "convinced" to buy something. It wasn't the case at all. I dealt with Shaddy and found that he was very friendly and helpful, but not overbearing. This made all the difference to me because I trusted him immediately. I explored other Honda dealers, and had the best experience at Airdrie Honda. Shaddy took me for a test drive that was much more informative than I would expect a test drive to be. He demonstrated features of the car that a first time buyer wouldn't know to ask about. He was very likeable and knowledgeable. I was most impressed about his understanding of what the buyer is looking for. He seemed to be more concerned about the buyer's happiness than the potential profit for the dealership. All in all I was impressed and have no regrets choosing Airdrie Honda. More

Airdrie Honda was precise and dispensed with playing the stupid "low ball" game. Showed class. In the end, the honesty and hard work shown was appreciated and hence the deal was made. Instead of depreciating my trade far more than working on a satisfactory price of the new vehicle, the salesman and dealership worked both sides well.
