I understand issues arise regarding vehicles, it's how the dealers handle these issues. I have an all out lemon of a truck and Advantage Ford refuses to stand by their vehicles. Even Ford Canada has been no help, thus I am left on the hook to pay for repair after repair. My truck has 90k on it and I've had nothing but problems. I have a 2011 Ford F-150 with the ecoboost motor. I have been in over 20 times with problems on this truck. It has stalled 3 times on the hwy while passing other vehicles. It has had a number of recalls and even most recently at 80k, they to put in a new motor. I have lost countless days with my truck in the shop ( >30) 2 weeks with a rental alone. I am now paying $$ for multiple electronic issues. Kendal the Service Manager and Shane the Sales Manager should find other jobs. Kendal ignores me when I am in and Shane is no better. He blew me off three times last week to the point I went in and had a face to face with him. He blamed his service advisors for his poor communication. He ultimately asked me not to bring my vehicle back as I didn't buy it from Advantage. Pardon? You have serviced it since the start? You have sent me home saying we can't replicate your stalls....Then two weeks later I need a new motor? Last week after having it in for the entire day with again multiple issues, they charged me $200 and only addressed 2/3 concerns and I was told they would need it for two days. I would have to pay for repairs and rent a vehicle out of my own pocket. Again what? One of my issues was the inside beeping noise the vehicle makes when a seat belt is not buckled. The beeping continues for five minutes. The service advisor told me, in a whisper, that she shouldn't tell me this as Ford tells them not to tell the customer...."Easiest fix is to clean your back up sensors, but I'm not supposed to tell you that." Thanks again Ford for trying to stick it to me. So what's the easiest thing for Advantage Ford to do? Not deal with the real issues and tell the customer to go elsewhere to have their repairs done. Yes please, thanks again Ford. On my way out of the dealership, I told Shane that I was happy to provide feedback on my experience with Advantage... He then promptly replied that he had something in his power that he could somehow negatively affect me. I found this very troubling that he would say this to a customer. PS...also on their service check sheets? The ones they mark off for properly functioning equipment...They don't actually check if the headlights are working, they don't check to ensure all equipment is working properly unless it's obvious. Lazy mechanics I suppose, because I love showing them all the things they missed on their vehicle health report. This happens every visit. More

Off all the dealerships Advantage was by far the easiest to deal with. Warren found us wandering the lot and was very helpful, not pushy, and very easy to get along with. So easy fact that after my business partner bought his truck I bought one moments later. Chris the finance guy was very personable but not to the point where we felt he was trying to up sell us stuff we didn't want. All in all our experience was fantastic and worth the hour and a half drive. More

It was a quick and easy sale. After providing the appropriate information to Arnie, he set us up with a couple of test drives of various F150 trucks. They had lots to chose from, but it was a bit of a juggling act to get the features we wanted most. We found a truck we liked and essentially completed the entire sale process in a day, and picked up our new truck a couple of days later. We traded in a vehicle and were a little disappointed with the amount that we got for it, but decided it probably would not be worth the extra trouble of selling it privately. More
Mediocre in every way Advantage Ford is a very average dealership. However, I find a great sense of arrogance there. (McDonald's is the biggest fast food, but I don't know too many people that honestly think it would be the best) I was looking for a new vehicle, but didn't purchase my vehicle there ( I found the sales staff to be very indifferent so purchased elsewhere), but took it there for service and warranty work - mainly because it was close to home, and convenient. Debbie K was usually the person I dealt with - I wasn't terribly pleased with her. I brought my vehicle in the morning to have a tail light replaced, then I got a ride to work. She told me it would be done for sure by the end of the day. So, I got dropped off at Advantage after work, and found out that the part hadn't even been ordered yet. Wow! would have been nice to know that. That definitely wasn't good service. Another case is when I went in for a WORKS package - on special for $59,95. I specifically asked for a WORKS package when I brought it in to Debbie as well. When I picked up my vehicle they tried to charge me $109.95 plus shop fees and taxes. They did adjust the price, but I feel as if they were trying to gouge me and assumed I wouldn't say anything. I mentioned over a year ago that my brakes squeak. Debbie mentioned that it was rust on the brakes, and that would go away. One year later my brakes still squeak. I mentioned that to her and she replies "All brakes squeak" Huh? She then said that I could get that fixed with a maintenance package for $114.95 plus taxes, That is the cost of a set of basic brake pads - doesn't make much sense The last straw is when I brought my vehicle in to have a seat cover replaced last week and my vehicle got hailed on. Some dealerships would repair the damage since it was under their care. Nope, not Advantage. Furthermore Jim M was incredibly rude when I talked to them about it. Oh yeah, by the way. After I got my vehicle back my key fobs don't work correctly. Time to move on. I will never ever have anything to do with Advantage Ford again, and there is no way I would recommend them to anyone else. More

I worked with Arnie ter Mors from sales and Ken Livingston from finance, both of whom were professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. I had previously visited other Ford and Mazda dealerships in Calgary, but these guys were by far the best. I love my new car, I feel I was able to get a fair price, and the whole process went very smoothly. Would be happy to deal with this team again in the future and would recommend to others. More
