Lies and lack of responsiveness Worst VW dealer ever, enough said. I was sold a car that was coming in stock in 1-2 weeks. Now it's been 4 months and they are supposed to start b Worst VW dealer ever, enough said. I was sold a car that was coming in stock in 1-2 weeks. Now it's been 4 months and they are supposed to start building it soon. Not exactly in stock. Apparently my configuration was unique and that is the reason for the delay. Yet I did not configure anything only took the more expensive version they told me is coming into stock. All that said not their fault. But it's impossible to get updates, they never respond to calls or emails, they have no clue what's going on and constantly make mistakes on the paperwork. Supposed to do a lease extension while I wait for the delay. I have now not paid for my car in 2 months. Emailed the manager about it twice times (each missed payment) and have no heard back. Just a disaster. Stay away. More

Terrible Customer Service & Contstant Upsell From the very beginning of my interaction with Ujas Thaker I knew I was in for his upsell and scare tactics that scammers love to use against unsuspec From the very beginning of my interaction with Ujas Thaker I knew I was in for his upsell and scare tactics that scammers love to use against unsuspecting consumers. Unfortuantely for Ujas, I'm not a dummy. I've read my owners manual and I know that spark plugs do not have to be changed until 100,000kms. My Jetta has 68,000kms. I was disappointed in Ujas' listening skills as the upsell continued. I told him twice that I'm getting new tires else where. I was there for a routine oil change. At one point a mechanic came in and there was a comment made that they weren't very busy but short staffed. I dropped my car at 8:10am. Was called by Ujas at 11:02am - not to pick up the car but to ask me if he can go ahead and perform $3,136.59 additional work on my car. This is where I lost it. There was a "visual inspecition" done on my Jetta. Supposedly my steering rack needs replacing - after a "visual inspection". Then they wanted to put on new tires, replace spark plugs, perform brake fluid exchange service. I can't help but feel like VW was trying to take advantage. Does anyone like it when a corporation is trying to scam you? I was treated to Dixie/401 VW's extreme upsell and scare tactics. As a result I will not longer be a customer. More

Terrible service experience Probably the worst service experience I have ever had... I brought my VW Golf to replace the 4 tires. With alignment, that sumed up to about $900. After picking up my car I had a closer look and realized my 4 wheels have been scratched (few examples attached)! No need to say my wheels were absolutely spotless before the service. After sending an email with photos, 401 Dixie Service Manager agreed to repaint the wheels. I had to make 4 trips to the dealer to get them fixed (including one trip for nothing as the job was not done properly). I have requested to get a few words with the Service Manager to discuss about my disappointing experience. He told me I should be happy because my wheels look new while they were curbed before! Basically calling me a liar! I have opened a case with VW Canada customer. The last time they will ever see me there. More

Dishonest staff tried to rip us off.. The only reason why I'd go back to this location would be because of the sales associate Alex and the service manager Mark. My few recent experiences The only reason why I'd go back to this location would be because of the sales associate Alex and the service manager Mark. My few recent experiences were not great. The only reason why someone would help you here is for the commission (it's their job we get it) but you need to work on your customer service skills to have customers in the first place... That was my experience and I don't me and my family who used to be their customers to ever go back, but if you're shopping there then hopefully you will have better experiences. UPDATE (our last experience): We went to this location to trade in the car (our family has bought 4 cars from this location) we bought from THIS location with a different one. The sales manager -Vince- said that the 2014 Jetta was going to be praised at $12,5k and he can't do anything else for us. When I say their all about the money they make that's what I am referring to. So we had to add $13k+ to get the car we wanted. I then left the GM (Terry) a VM as I thought Vince was low balling us. He called and wanted to make it better. We decided to speak one more time but then we got nowhere. I knew they were lowballing us. I ended up going to another VW dealership and they offered $17,5k. I ended us going to another VW dealership (Bramgate), where I was referred by a friend. They also offered me $17,5k for my car, $5k difference, now this means that 401 Dixie VW is dishonest and their practice is unethical. I ended up adding $2k (vs $13k @ 401 Dixie),bought the car (better condition) than the car I saw at 401 Dixie VW for $7k (that tell you something right?). Called Alex up at 401 Dixie and he was happy that things went the way I wanted (Alex is customer service oriented unlike the other 2 including the GM). Based on the above experience, Can you trust this dealership? You guys at 401 Dixie (including your GM) dropped the ball! More
