I ordered a 2023 Volkswagen with 401 Dixie Volkswagen, and unfortunately, they cancelled my order last minute without any explanation. The lack of communication and professionalism from 401 Dixie Volkswagen is completely unacceptable. It is disappointing to see a company that claims to value customer satisfaction provide such poor service. I would strongly caution potential customers to avoid doing business with this dealership. Overall, I cannot recommend 401 Dixie Volkswagen based on my experience. I hope that my review will help others avoid similar disappointments and encourage the dealership to improve their service for future customers. More

Incredibly frustrating dealing with this place. In 2019 I purchased a Silk Blue 2019 Volkswagen Jetta Comfortline from this location. They used several common, expected tactics to attempt to jack u In 2019 I purchased a Silk Blue 2019 Volkswagen Jetta Comfortline from this location. They used several common, expected tactics to attempt to jack up the price as much as possible. Certainly, we can expect this from the majority of car dealerships. However, after hours of negotiating (along with plenty of waiting), these people informed me that a Silk Blue Jetta was "not available" and that I would need to take a white, grey or black one. When I immediately threatened to leave, they then agreed that they could get me a blue one, as originally agreed, but that I would need to wait three weeks. Neither of these things were mentioned pre-negotiations. However, because I wanted the car I accepted and waited the three weeks despite the sour taste their tactics left in my mouth. As I did enjoy the car I let this slide, did not leave a negative review of any kind. However on June 8th 2022 I sold my car back to this dealership. I owed a remaining $15500 on the car and they bought it from me for $20000 and cut me a cheque for the remaining $4500. Although they did make me wait again this was a relatively smooth process, and I was glad to no longer be in association with this dealership and left. Unfortunately that is not the end of the story. As of posting this on June 29th 2022, two more bi-weekly car payments of $175.20, totalling in $350.40 have been withdrawn from my account. When the first was withdrawn I called the dealership. The person at the front desk told me that Ali, the representative that I had dealt with in the sale, was busy and not available. She assured me that once the paperwork was settled the $175.20 would be deposited to my account. Since then, another payment of $175.20 has been taken from my account. It has been three weeks and, as the next threes days are a holiday and the weekend, there is no chance I will get my money back before my bills must be paid July 1st. At this point, even once I receive my money back, and I will as I won't allow myself to be scammed out of a dime, this dealership deserves this one star review. I understand that car dealerships are essentially in the business of nickel-and-diming their patrons but their awful customer service on my first visit in addition to their failure to actually settle my loan (after shaking my hand and saying quote "I will pay off your car") mean that this place should be avoided at all costs. I highly suggest taking your business elsewhere and protecting yourself as a consumer from 401 Dixie Volkswagen. More
