They treat you like gold until you have to get Service done and you're ignored and treated like garbage. I have contacted Nissan Canada and will continue to express my disappointment with Dixie 401 Nissan using every outlet and opportunity available to me. I won't be surprised if this review doesn't make it online. Seems like everything this dealership does is in the interest of themselves only. They are the top "volume" dealer, they sell but they cannot retain customers. Good Luck keeping that status up! More

The customer service within this dealership was atrocious. I sent my vehicle in saying that there was an issue with my ignition switch and told there was no issue it was my battery. A half hour later there was a subsequent phone call indicating that there was a recall on my battery connection and my body control module (computer of the car) was needing replacement on my 4 year old Sentra. When I picked it up a week later, the service person indicated that the recall could have affected my body control module and I signed off that it was being granted under the good will of my warranty. When I went to get into the car it wouldn't unlock. I went back in and told the service person, who responded "Are you sure you're at the right car?" He then went out and worked on the car and told me that I would have to come back and they would provide a loaner. The loaner was dirty, had no car mats, old food bags with food in them, newspapers and a sticker on the trunk that said, "Do not open". The whole ordeal came down to the fact that my ignition switch was indeed needing replacement. I ended up having to deal with Nissan Canada over this whole ordeal and having to chase the service department down for my refund of money. Furthermore, the sales team was trying to force sell another vehicle on me using pressure sales and treating me like I was not knowledgeable about cars. If you want to have horrendous service, anxiety and extreme stress, feel free to deal with this dealership. Nissan has officially lost my business. Hello Ford! More

The maintenance is expensive, but I understand that it's a dealership and it's normal. I booked my maintenance appointment 2 weeks ago to ensure that I got a loaner for the day. I was assured that I would have one. When I got there this morning, there wasn't one available. They arranged a rental at the dealerships expense with Routes Rental in the same mall area. Great. When I went to get the vehicle, I was charged a $350 deposit on my CC that will be returned to me within 3 to 5 business days. This angered me. Why was this deposit not charged to the dealership? What if I didn't have a CC? Really what I should have done was walked away right then and there...but, I didn't. When I went back to the dealership to complain about this, I was met with a "so what?" attitude they didn't even PRETEND to care. I was told that this is "normal" procedure....It's the first time I've experienced this and I've been driving, and maintaining my car for 20 years. An hour later, I'm called and told that I need work done to the tune of over $600 OVER the maintenance price of $400. I told them to do only the minimal, as I no longer trust them at all. I will take my business elsewhere from now on. THEN, two hours later I get another call telling me that my vehicle is ready for pick up and if I don't pick up by 6pm, I'll have to come by and get my car tomorrow. I have picked my car up after 6pm before and they've left the keys with the sales desk. Apparently, today this was not an option for me...I suggested, and was told that they don't do that. Seriously. Either there is a new Service Manager/Team that don't really understand what customer service is, or they really just don't give a crap. I will NEVER take my car back to them....Hello, Nissan Queensway next time. Excuse me while I find another site to repeat this review on. The more upset I got about the service, the worse the service got. This location will never see me again. But, I'm sure they don't care. More

Sent in another secret shopper the next day where he intact did get a better price on the exact vehicle. Went back spoke with Manager Iwonna (Big Liar) who claimed the price that was received was without tax and her salesperson must have made a mistake. Besides that, she pulled employees over that all stories match. Finally she said she would replace the part with the dent as the colours would not match if painted. Picked up vehicle 1 WEEK later to only find out dent is smaller but still there, Must have got magic dent remover to work their 70% on it!!! More

All this time they were just leaving me for 20-30 min each time to talk with their manager. They have absolutely no respect for their customers!!! More

As other people have mentioned this place has really gone downhill. i purchase my previous car from them 4 years ago and everything went smoothly. This time around things were very different the sales people were just a bunch of con-artists i went there to buy a used financed car but they kept pressuring me into buying a BRAND NEW LEASED CAR that i did not even want in the first place!! This is the last time i ever go near this dealership again. In short save your self the trouble and JUST STAY AWAY, if you walk in they will force you into a sale. More

I have confirmed with the person at service counter how much time they need to done required work on my vehicle and they said 2 hours. My vehicle was on the repair deck in reasonable time but they have not started working on until more than 2 hours passed and I start asking them is it ready or not. I was standing one the door of workshop and can see my vehicle left alone an guys working on other vehicles. I have to pick my kids from learning center 30 km from dealership. I was keep asking even its not done please roll it out of workshop so I can go pick my kids before learning center get closed. Only reply get back just 20 minutes please and these 20 minutes turned in to more than hour. And behavior of the person at service counter was extremely rude. Never going back to 401 Dixie Nissan or recommend any one to go there. More
Agreed to buy a new Rogue on Friday Aug 2. The color was not in stock but would be available by "next Friday, worst case scenario". No phone call by late Thursday so I called to enquire. Several calls were not in stock but would be available by "next Friday, worst case scenario". No phone call by late Thursday so I called to enquire. Several calls were needed to reach the salesperson and business manager. No-one knew anything about availability and really didn't want to take ownership of the situation. No information provided by Tuesday Aug 13 so I called again. Voicemails were not returned promptly and finally spoke to business manager late Tuesday and was told that I would be called when the vehicle was ready. That happened on Thursday while on vacation. Collected the vehicle Monday Aug 19 but only one Smart Key was available. The second would be "a few days". No call by Monday Aug 26 so called Tuesday. Again difficulty reaching salesperson who finally told me that his manager would call later about the Smart Key. He didn't so I called Tuesday and spoke with the sales manager who had been "too busy to call" on Monday. Told him I will come to the dealership and stay there until I got the key. Arrived at 2 pm and was told that the key would be ready in an hour. It actually took 2 1/2 hours! Customer neglect in spades. More
Clearly 401 Dixie Nissan has enough business that they don't care about customers. Having confirmed and gone through the whole process of financing etc of the new car; no one followed up with me. No one called, I had to keep calling to check as if it was my job and Nissan was doing a favor dealing with me. I am amazed at the lack of professionalism and the rude dealings of the staff including the managers who do not want to help one bit. Nissan doesn't deserve business at this rate of service, I am so upset. No organization whatsoever with processes, car delivery was delayed by a week. Should have gone to some other dealer where they value customers especially Toyota and Volkswagon. Will never refer anyone to go to this dealership. The manager is rude, definitely not a pleasant dealing at all. More
