Extenuating circumstances were that I had just been in a car accident AND then hit by a car. So safe to say I wasn't in the right state of mind, nonetheless signing the contract was my fault. However, I do want to expose their shady tactics. Firstly, the SENIOR financial manager lied to my face and said that I could only get approved a loan at x interest rate on the contingency that they struture the loan with warranties to protect the car... Okay first red flag because I don't see how two and two connect. Secondly, he rushed me to come in and sign before dealership closed to get everything signed and sent to the bank or they may not get the same rate. Thirdly, he didn't go over the contract and rushed me to sign and immediately take away the paper, not providing me with signed copy or bill of sale until after delivery. So I spent the next few days asking for my copy and in limbo about what I had just gotten into. Fourthly, come to find out he sold the car over MSRP advertised by dealership. Fifthly, they in no way plan to rectify this. all in all I take responsiblity for being a first time buyer and not being sure what I was getting into but the outright lies and shady tactics are pretty despicable. I took my bill of sale to another dealership to determine trade in value and they looked at it and basically said I got robbed. 0/10 would recommend. More
Worst car dealership experience ever When I first inquired about a CX-5, Ishan Rehal called me and promised to email me the VIN (for insurance). No email came, so I had to call the dealer When I first inquired about a CX-5, Ishan Rehal called me and promised to email me the VIN (for insurance). No email came, so I had to call the dealership. I tried then to switch sales people to Noman (who seemed friendly and more attentive), but ended up giving Ishan another chance. Big mistake... Every time we visited, we waited forever while Ishan dealt with other clients. On average, it took me 90 min just to do a test drive. The day we wanted to buy, we wasted 4h in there before getting our deposit refunded and leaving, furious... I understand if somebody gets busy one day, but this happened multiple times. The worst day was in early Sep, leading us to walking out and never returning. We didn't negotiate or lowball the price of our 2nd hand CX-5 but we did want the car certified so it gets safetied and we get the PT warranty, etc. After negotiating and waiting in Ishan's office for a long time, he came back and said that was possible and moved us onto the financing guy. The financing guy talked us through coverage options, then realized we hadn't been shown the carfax report yet, and was even more surprised at our reaction to the final bill, which Ishan had strategically not shown us. (He just told us the monthly rate.) Not only were we charged for the certification, but they had also added an additional $500 insurance charge, which they claimed they had to put on to protect the car while it was on their lot. Why do I need to pay for the dealership's insurance? Anyway, we escalated, and sat through 3 more discussions with Ishan and his sales manager. Turns out the deal he had offered us was not okay with his boss. He called it a "miscommunication". Really? How about a lie? We got our deposit back and left, furious. We ended up going to Yorkdale Mazda, buying a similar car with a 1.5K higher price tag, but ended up paying *lower* monthly payments by $20. (Same term, rate, down payment, coverage, etc.) Clearly the 401/Dixie guys were doing something funny with the numbers. All this time we were going to Mazda dealerships thinking they were legit. The crap we dealt with reminded me of the worst stereotypes of used car salesmen: underhanded, deceptive, uncaring, don't give a f. I don't write many negative reviews for products or locations, but this experience was so bad, I feel compelled. I'll be sending a formal complaint to Mazda Canada about this. UPDATE: corrected salesperson's name to Ishan. Imran was the financing specialist who dealt with us professionally. More

We also had a pleasure of meeting a very helpful and funny Noman Khan. Thank you for helping me and my brother with a purchase of Mazda CX-5 (super happy!)! Yes - we bought the same cars, again - just this time, not on the same day and not the same colour! :) I also should mention, my brothers girlfriend is a happy owner of the new Mazda 3 Sport. We are Mazda family now! :) Thank you again for your wonderful help - much appreciated!!! More

STAY AWAY!! All the poor reviews are true, they're smiles when purchasing, and once you signed. They're nowhere to be found, won't pick up calls or reply to texts All the poor reviews are true, they're smiles when purchasing, and once you signed. They're nowhere to be found, won't pick up calls or reply to texts. Even if you show up, they'll be "busy". They constantly lie about what they're selling (parts, service, warranty, etc) and when you find out, they act like you misunderstood. Salesman and Finance managers are dishonest, condescending and rude! Mazda has great cars, but this place is toxic! Do yourself a favour and go to another dealership. More

In this connection I met Aqeel Abbas from the 'parts department' and found him very friendly and helpful as always. In my opinion Aqeel is a big asset to this dealership and his efforts should be recognised .With his good educational background , hard working approach and positive attitude he should be groomed to take on higher responsibilities. - More

Do not service your car there Will never do business again with them, let me tell you why (pictures for proof) There was a recall on all Mazda 6 2004-2007 due to faulty airbags tha Will never do business again with them, let me tell you why (pictures for proof) There was a recall on all Mazda 6 2004-2007 due to faulty airbags that would not deploy in case of a crash and needed to visit a dealership to have them replaced. (what a great quality control, to realize 10 years later your air bags are not working properly...) Had them replace it. Everything was good when I left. Or so I thought... A day later I reach to my glove box and noticed the compartment was wobbly and off its hinges. They had broken my glove box and did not tell me. Really? I call them and ask to speak with the manager. I speak with Cody C. who is in charge. Not only does he sound like he doesn't give a xxxx but also tries to tell me it's really unlikely it would be their fault since his mechanics have been doing it for ten years or more. I must have hidden superstrength and broke that really study piece of plastic off myself right? After a few exchanges, the man decides to offer me a replacement. Ok, that's nice, but what did he offer for compensation for wasting my time again (first time wasted by driving there and replacing their air bags which took three hours, not their fault specifically but then AGAIN coming to replace the glove box)? NOTHING. ZERO. NADA. Not even a discount on their absolutely overpriced repairs which I was offered a diagnostic on parts that needed to be changed (listed in pictures, which I by the way went to another mechanic who did it for literally 1/3 of the price). All you get is his condescending tone. If you're looking to service your car or in the market to buy a new car and considering 401MazdaDixie, DON'T. This manager doesn't care about his customers after you bought your car. They'll fake the smiles until they make the sale and youre on your own. You're just a number, a commission to the quota they have to meet at the end of the month. Again, thanks Mr. xxxxxxxxx Manager, but no thanks. -A very disappointed customer. EDIT: After I wrote this review on Google on their business page, the manager answers saying that it couldn't have been them that broke it. These guys are funny, and will do anything to keep a good face. I just called them up on it. REPLY TO RESPONSE: Wow, are you kidding me? "If they had anything to do with it you dumb dumb?" If there wasn't a recall on the airbags, then they wouldn't have to access the glove compartment which was obviously in perfect condition before I gave it to you guys. Who is writing the replies to this? This totally proves how your service is so unreliable and you don't even want to take responsible for your mistakes. I'll make sure to spread the word. More
