I booked appointment for diagnosis on 1st may 2025. Lady confirmed $ 205 including tax would be charged. But on counter they charged $ 231.65. Service advisor gave quotation $ 375 labour charge and $ 6 Lady confirmed $ 205 including tax would be charged. But on counter they charged $ 231.65. I brought my 2016 Hyundai Sonata GLS to 401 Dixie Hyundai after a sudden engine failure. My vehicle has an active engine recall related to a known manufacturing defect. Despite this, the dealership refused to fix the problem, blaming a “lack of maintenance” without properly considering my situation. I provided recent maintenance records and explained that I bought the car used, but they showed no real interest in helping me or honoring Hyundai’s recall responsibilities. I was extremely disappointed by the way I was treated — it felt like they were more interested in avoiding responsibility than supporting a customer facing a serious safety issue. I expected better from a Hyundai dealership, especially when it comes to recall-related repairs. I would strongly recommend others be very cautious when dealing with 401 Dixie Hyundai regarding recalls or major repairs. Their customer care and fairness were not what I would expect from a reputable dealership. More
