Mike we've worked very hard on trying to make this situation right. Your frustrations have been heard and understood, but the reality of the situation is that we as a dealership do not have the final determination on warranty related repairs. Which you are aware, the Better Business Bureau determined as well in response to your complaint filed with their institution. The time that it took to diagnose your vehicle, I apologize for. In that time we had multiple communications with Hyundai Canada’s engineering department that were often delayed due to staff vacation, and a retirement. At this point there has been approximately 44 hours spent diagnosing your vehicle, and $3200 in parts and rental car coverage of which you have incurred no cost. Based on the findings of our Certified Technicians and the Engineering department at Hyundai Canada we stand by the offer of you contributing towards the repair of the engine and the majority of the repair to be completed at no charge to you. If you would like to take advantage of that offer please contact our Service Department to make the necessary arrangements.
