Late on a Friday, two days prior to my wife’s scheduled heart surgery my Buick developed a coolant leak. I took it into Leggat Chevrolet Cadillac Buick Saturday and David Elliott, Service Manager, took personal charge, asking me to wait while he had the problem diagnosed. The required parts were not available before Monday and the car should not be driven. He arranged a rental car for me, promising to keep me informed; just as my wife’s surgery was complete, I received his text advising my car was ready; I picked up my Buick the next morning and David had the rental car returned for me. I’ve been dealing with Leggat for ten years and will happily continue.

Worst service ever had!! First I was told my truck was ready for pick up because issues were fixed. I get the keys start to leave truck goes back into limp mode so the truck was back into service area and needed to stay to get it fixed. I waited for two hours for a shuttle and I had to call for another ride because shuttle service was way too long. They offered to pay a rental as my truck was in the shop for repairs and as I got the text saying my truck was ready for pick up, I called and was informed they are not paying for the rental they offered. Not a happy customer

If you go, I highly, as a 20yr veteran professional of a safety critical job with very low tolerance for error, recommend dealing with Patrick Barrett. His attitude and demeanor in his sales approach is not only verifiably (and I verify) honest and accurate, he also has the tenure and relaxed approach to accommodate even the most apprehensive clients. If you aren't sure, have little experience, or the utmost savy, Pat will simply lay it into as it is. It's a symptom of his natural ability to avoid any of the salesman games you dread. Pat deploys repeat business as value and it shows. Beleive me... I'm on my 3rd vehicle with Barry Cullen and despite the particulars of some reviews airing their grievances about specific problems, I will leave it to the educated ear to understand that vehicle construction and dealerships are miles apart, and the dealerships themselves are also customers of the underlying manufacturer. I purchased a 2015 Toyota 4Runner from Gananoque Chevrolet and the salesman Nathan worked to get me the best deal for my situation. The delivery of the Toyota 4runner was delayed on the pick up day due to new tires which were ordered for certification not being received. Nathan called me while I was on route. He apologized for the delay and offered to deliver vehicle. Nathan delivered the Toyota 4Runner to me at my home in the GTA where we finalized the deal. very dissapointed with this dealership. worst service ever they left my 4 kids and my partner and i stranded in london had to find our own way home no help or even offered us a loner. brad from mongtomery ford in kincardine stepped up and gave us a ford to use while my gmc got fixed. lakeside gmc failed to fix it properly and then when my truck broke down 21 days later they just totally refused to fix it at all and advised me to take my truck else where dylan campbell and sarah dunbar where my service providers that failed my family and i. iam very sadden to be treated this way especially in my own community anyhow i just want the people of the community and surrounding area to know what sort or services lakeside gmc actually provide

Went here to sell my car through DealerWorks. Saw the commercial on TV "Don't want Low Ballers and Tire Kickers? Come to us to sell your car". Huge mistake i made. They explained the process halfway, I had to ask 101 questions to get real answers out of them. Uncovered Hidden costs because i asked questions. If you didn't then you would be surprised at the end of the transaction. Then after a week of my car being on the lot, I get a call from the sales manager. "We have someone interested in your car! we just need to know off two thousand dollars" WHAT?!?! now you wanna low ball me? you set that price, not me.. and i did my homework before i agreed on the sale price with flex of $999. (Car was listed for $12,999) 20 days After being on the lot i get another call from the Sales Manager "Hey we have someone interested in your vehicle! Again, can we knock off $2000?" I explain you told me what price to list and said we will only use the $999. The car is eligible to stay on the lot for 3 months! why are you pressuring me?? I told him if you want do that, then take it out of your Commission! "Oh well we can't do that" of course not. I also left Brand new wiper blades in the car. On the passengers Seat. At the end of the transaction they said, "we had to charge an additional $25 for new wiper blades." I explained the wiper blades were left on the seat in with the car in your possession! "Someone must have stolen them, Not our fault" SOOO GLAD THEY SHUT DOWN! Not glad of all the people they ripped off in the process.. So sad. CTV did a story on them. Even the Big Boy dealers can be scam artists!

Garnet Johnson is the best salesperson I have ever dealt with in a vehicle purchase and I have made many. He is knowledgeable, patient and well informed with the products he deals with. Over the course of three years, he and I discussed the various models of truck that GMC offers. I like to consider myself a knowledgeable customer when it comes to my trucks, but numerous times I leaned on Garnet's experience and training for direction. The final result is a beautiful 2024 GMC Sierra 1500 SLT, which is well equipped with what I needed and nothing more. The Greavette GM dealership is located nearby, for me, although there are other Ontario dealerships that offer me discounts on vehicles. Greavette GM did show me their appreciation in my selecting them for my purchase. I felt a loyalty to support a local business and I'm happy I did. So far, the Greavette service section has addressed any concerns I've had with my new truck in a quick, professional manner. Their after purchase care is top notched due to the personal interest their Service Manager, Ed Siblock takes in customer care. Austin Jung, my Service Rep, is knowledgeable, patient and professional in his approach to my concerns and always makes himself available for my questions and concerns. All in all, a great business to deal with, from the first visit, to the purchase, to their after sales addressing of concerns. Greavette GM is certainly worth the ride for vehicle purchases.

They wouldn’t talk to myself only my husband, my son was treated rudely while we were looking to try and trade it in. When we got upset about it we were told to pick our suv up today even though it hadn’t been looked at by engineers. I will never step food in McMasters again

Dishonest Service Department !! My elderly mother had her car into the dealership because it was not running smoothly. The diagnosis was a faulty ignition coil. which was replaced and a injector cleaning also done. This cost $1077, $791 of which was labor and only $271 were for parts. They then told here that she had a faulty water pump that needed to be replaced for $2000. When I heard that, I told her I would take it to my mechanic for second opinion. When she told them she was going to pick up the car, she was told she could not have it because it was not safe to drive, at which point we told them to release the car, which they did, but only after they charged $359 to "put it back together". It should be noted that diagnosing a leak in the cooling system should have been done by pressurizing the system and looking for a leak. There should not have been anything to put back together. After we got the car I took the car to my mechanic who diagnosed the problem as a loose hose clamp. Not only that, but the water pump appeared to have been replaced recently and there was nothing wrong with the water pump. Cost for diagnosis and replacing the clamp, $158, a far cry from $2000 ! That is the last time we go to that dealership for anything !

John negotiated a price out to me on my trade in vehicle and when I said ok, lets do the deal... he ghosted me, then called the next day to say that they couldn't give me the negotiated number for my vehicle. He was extremely surprised when I said no, then started to take an intimidating tone over text after I said I was moving on. I may not have gotten a Cadillac, but I sure do love my new Lexus!
