I will be the first to admit that we were probably not the easiest customers. We were trying to determine what our own needs were while trying to find a new vehicle and we cross-shopped more than a few: Explorers, Expeditions, Atlas, Ascent, CX-9, Telluride, and Palisade to name a few. In our opinion the Telluride and Palisade were well above the rest, with the Ultimate trim on the Palisade being considerably better than the top offering from the Telluride. We dealt mainly with Pat Guenette and he was absolutely top notch. We had all kinds of crazy questions, we flip flopped on color (interior and exterior) and trim level, etc. He handled all of our inquiries promptly and with the utmost professionalism. Never once did we find him trying to upsell anything or push us one way or another. He was always friendly and welcoming without being over the top. His answers were always honest, informative, and based on what best suited our needs as a family. We are confident he did everything possible to give us his best deal and without us needing to "play the game", which was very refreshing after some less than favorable encounters at other dealerships. Chris Martin was also great to deal with although our encounter was brief (a good thing!). We exchanged most of the necessary information over the phone and he had everything ready for us when we arrived. He explained what he needed to, we signed on the dotted line, and we were on our way. Quick, easy, and painless. The dealership itself is spacious, newly updated, and inviting. Social distancing protocols were being maintained nicely; I witnessed a few air high-fives and handshakes, and exchanged a few of my own. Floor markings clearly delineated proper spacing and standing locations, there was hand sanitizer in multiple locations as well as plexiglass screens in place at the desks where close-ish contact was required for signing/payment, etc. All in all a very pleasant experience, we will definitely be referring family, friends, and anyone who asks! Often times people (us included) will skip taking surveys or leaving reviews but we had such a nice experience that we felt the need to share it. We love our new Palisade. Thanks again Pat! More

Recently purchased a new palisade from Winnipeg Hyundai and had an amazing experience. I have never bought a vehicle brand new before so it was a big decision for me. Most unprofessional and unpleasant dealer ever in my life. Pat Guenette is a typical pushy car dealer. I was in a Mid size SUV market last year. I had few negotiation emails with one of dealer at Winnip life. Pat Guenette is a typical pushy car dealer. I was in a Mid size SUV market last year. I had few negotiation emails with one of dealer at Winnipeg Hyundai over 2019 Sante Fe ultimate before show up at Winnipeg Hyindai for Test drive. The time my girlfriend and I arrived at the dealership was quite close to end of their business hour. I asked the dealer I communicate on emails if I could take the car for over night test drive. The dealer brought this pet guy for approval and he was total joke. He had been total jerk and rude all the time. He basically said that we have to buy the car right now for a price he wants to sell at with no negotiation if we want to take it for overnight test drive. So we said we can't promise anything because the whole reason of test drive is letting customer to explore if the car fit their needs and life style. We eventually had 30 mins test drive in the car. Instead of focusing on car, my girlfriend and I spent most of time on debating on why we were treated like that by this pat guy. We were okay with not getting an overnight test drive but we were so disgusted with his arrogant attitude and cheap pushy business techniques. We returned the car as soon as we decided not to buy one from him. Few months later, we visited the dealership again to purchase one and we were told that pat guy demoted from his manager position. Karma is real. This guy shouldn't be at Winnipeg Hyundai. Don't get me wrong, Winnipeg Kia is good place to buy a car but not PAT GUENETTE. I've said it once and I'll say it a a hundred times. STAY AWAY FROM PAT GUENETTE. More

After my car was written off, I was nervous about buying a new one especially after going to a few dealerships and not having a great experience. Eric was waiting for me when I got to the dealership and had the car I wanted to look at ready when I arrived. I really appreciated the efficiency. He was inviting and friendly yet I never felt pressured into making a decision. I truly felt Eric and the sales manager Reuel cared about my experience and wanted to get me a good deal. In the end I found the perfect vehicle that fits my needs and my budget. I couldn’t be happier and I’m very thankful. I also had a lovely time when the deal was finalized with Chris the finance manager. I didn’t feel pressured into any add on’s I wasn’t interested in and he explained everything very well but kept the meeting very friendly and efficient.
