I liked Mo when he originally sold us our used Honda. There were a few things we agreed would be done to the car before we picked it up and they were itemized on the contract. The dealership called us back to tell us the car was “ready” but when we got there only one of the five items agreed upon was done (the undercoating) and was obviously done at the last minute since it was pouring off the bottom of the doors as we pulled onto the lot. Mo handed us the keys and waved goodbye to us at the door, obviously hoping we wouldn’t notice all the things they hadn’t done. I noticed. Mo looked me in the eye and lied to me - tried to tell me the centre console on this model didn’t have a clip, and that the lid was just meant to “rest there”. He also tried to tell me that the trunk mat that he had promised me was “on back order” and he had intended to call me when it was in. Funny that he didn’t mention it as he handed me the keys and waved me off the lot. They gave us a rental the first time because they still had four of the five contractually-obligated fixes to perform. We had a rental for a week and a half, and they called us back to say it was ready again. We got in to drive it home and the heat was not functioning (on my “certified” Honda). Had to take it back and get a rental again for the THREE WEEKS it took to get the part. Just a terrible experience. Adding insult to injury, there was a scrape on the driver’s side door and I asked for a lower price on the car so I could get it fixed. Mo tells me that it would be so much easier for them to fix it since they have the shop. I agreed. When we went to pick it up they hadn’t even bothered to buff the edges off the scrape. They touched it up with a paint pen and generously threw the pen in the car. Not exactly what I was expecting. I am super suspicious about the undercoating too - paid extra for a 5-year undercoating. There’s nothing about my experience at Whitby Honda that gives me confidence that it was done properly. I’ll be having an independent person check it. One shining star - Sarah Murphy in the service department. She helped me quickly, professionally and with a friendly manner. Make her run the place - or at least teach the sales staff the finer points of customer service. Thanks, Sarah. More
Unfortunately Mo didn't come through on things that he said would do for us related to our purchase of a used vehicle. I don't know if it was just Mo or also the Service/Parts Department or communication said would do for us related to our purchase of a used vehicle. I don't know if it was just Mo or also the Service/Parts Department or communication between them but there were a number of problems with the car we bought and it took a long time to get resolved. I think the car we bought was sitting on the lot for a long time and the service department didn't do due diligence to make sure things were working such as the heating in the car and tire pressure was very low when we checked. We had to ask two or three times for some things we requested which was agreed to by Mo and in the end we got what we wanted (except for a blemish with the body paint and the undercoating was done last minute and dripping form the bottom of the car when we came to pick it up More

I did not have an appointment to do a tire switch. Went into the lube line this morning on my day off and got the best service from start to finish. I was greeted at my car and within an hour my tires were changed while I sat and waited in the very clean and comfy lobby. Easy peasy. Glad I decided to take the chance and join the line today👍. More
BUYER BEWARE -- They slap lipstick on a pig to make a quick buck and are defiant when you seek a proper fix! Purchased a 3 year old "Honda Certified" vehicle with extended warranty from Johnathan Howes a quick buck and are defiant when you seek a proper fix! Purchased a 3 year old "Honda Certified" vehicle with extended warranty from Johnathan Howes and noticed rust on side panel after 4 months. I was aware of an accident (Sales Agent Johnathan Howes advised me the vehicle was driven by a relative of the Sales Manager who had an accident in his driveway while backing up...I had trouble believing this as there are backup cameras and warning bells that go off). I told Johnathan the story didn't sound plausable but I was unaware that the dealership didn't send the vehicle to be properly repaired before resale. After 6 months of ownership, I brought the vehicle for service to a local Honda dealership (not WOH) who suggested I return to WOH to discuss the fact that two front tires were different brand from two back tires, front headlamp cracked and taking in water/condensation and entire side of vehicle is wavy, containing visible rust. Dealership said this would not have passed "Honda certification". After no response from an email to Iftikhar Khaliq, I took half day off work to attend at the WOH shop to discuss issue (had to wait a few months until completed cancer treatements and was strong enough to do this). Sonya was pleasant and suggested I talk with Trevor Carew, Sales Manager to get it rectified. She agreed there was clearly something awry. Trevor started work in the afternoon so I was given Trevor's card and sent home without resolution. 10 days with no response from Trevor Carew had me call again with threats to escalate this issue. Trevor Carew was immediately defensive and refused to assist me in any way as warranty doesn't cover rust. I purchased a "honda certified" vehicle under the assumption that there is some standard of care taken in preparing the vehicle for the next owner. This is not the case for WOH. They are looking for a quick buck and want to silence me. I called Honda Canada for assistance. They asked me to speak with the Service Manager before we escalate further. Left message for Jesse, Service Manager and Trevor Carew called me back stating he is the only person I can deal with at WOH and he's not changing his mind. Please steer clear of Trevor Carew. He is an unscrupulous crook. This situation is so odd that I am of the opinion that Trevor Carew is trying to cover up the accident his relative caused with this vehicle. Otherwise, I believe any reasonable human would have tactfully and expeditiously handled this situation. More
