I have been searching for a new 4Runner for several months, so have made inquiries with quite a few dealerships. Received a call from Max in their sales advising one matching the options I wanted was n months, so have made inquiries with quite a few dealerships. Received a call from Max in their sales advising one matching the options I wanted was newly available. Made appointment to view the next day and liked what I saw. Then he went “salesman” on me, did not provide a price, but began collecting all my information, had me sign an agreement form, and started haggling about my trade in. When I finally got a price (well above MSRP) and tried to discuss what I felt would be a comparable price for my Tacoma, he became dismissive, to the point I felt insulted. This after coming out on his invitation to what he had termed a quick sell. He had even advised me to bring both my keys for my truck suggesting I might be driving the 4Runner home. In short he seemed much more interested in his side of the sale rather than a customer satisfaction result. Disappointed. More
