A bad whistling sound-2015 Grand Caravan. I’ve purchased a 2015 Grand Caravan in the spring of 2015! On my 1st highway trip, I experienced a bad whistling noise on the drivers side between the I’ve purchased a 2015 Grand Caravan in the spring of 2015! On my 1st highway trip, I experienced a bad whistling noise on the drivers side between the steering wheel column and the windshield. I made an appointment with the Waverley Chrysler dealership in which they were unable to detect the problem. I had informed them that the whistling noise occurs when it’s windy and the vehicle is going over 100 KM per hour. They indicated that they tighten all the bolts and if the whistling noise happens again to bring it back! I went on another highway trip to Fargo, ND. and the same whistling sound was present for all of the 3 hour trip. You can imagine how upsetting that was! Made another appointment for the dealership and was told the shop foreman would give it a test drive on the highway to hear what the whistling sounded like and where it’s coming from. Unfortunately it was not a windy day so there were no results! They informed me to bring back the van on a windy day, no appointment needed, and they will try again. I failed to mention also that the noise was recorded while the whistling noise was going on by my wife, however the dealership didn’t take any value with the recording! I did bring back the van several times in which it was not not possible to take out on the highway drive because they were to busy despite the open invitation indicated by sales advisor Les Fodor. I dealt with Mr. Fodor again making an appointment this time and the 1st thing he said was “You’re back for the whistling noise. You know all vehicles have some sort of whistling noises especially with crosswinds!” I indicated to Mr. Fodor that this shouldn’t happen to a brand new vehicle coming from your dealership! Anyway arrangement were set for another test drive with no results once again! Not windy enough! This occurred for over 2 years going back and forth with no results and the whistling still there! The last time we brought the van in, in the fall of 2017, we dealt with Jesse Goertzen/Service Advisor. He checked possible solutions to the whistling sound, checking the seals, the rubber around the glass. He found a big hole in the rubber and indicated it would be replaced. And even opened the hood to see if there was any other potential problems in which the other service advisors never did! My wife and I were pretty hopeful that the whistling sound may be fixed. After the service, my wife asked Mr. Goertzen if the whistling problem persist again, could your dealership “Grandfather” us, as our warranty will expire in the early spring! He indicated it shouldn’t be a problem! We took our 1st highway drive in May and hold and behold, the whistling sound once again very present! Called Mr.Goertzen about what we talked about in the fall. Left message on his voicemail! Waited a week, no response. Called again, left message on voicemail, no response after a week! I’m very tired of dealing with this dealership and I know I should call the manager on why my messages were not acknowledged, however it’s been 3 years with this whistling sound and nothing has been achieved! My vehicle is now off warranty and what could they do for me at this time! I’ve been patient with this dealership(3 years) of dealing with this whistling noise! If you google this problem with Grand caravans through “YouTube” you will see this very popular whistling sound with this van! And yet this dealership cannot fix it. I may have 1 solution to the problem! I will bring back my van to see for the final time if the could fix this whistling problem! If not achieved, I will leave the keys with this dealership and stop payment on this van! Over charged and mechanic misdiagnosed my issue Went to have my vehicle looked at for an issue with the power steering. After an hour of waiting the mechanic tells me its a "smart battery sensor" on Went to have my vehicle looked at for an issue with the power steering. After an hour of waiting the mechanic tells me its a "smart battery sensor" on the battery that was cracked causing my power steering to intermittently fail. After paying the $465 i take my truck and go home. Later that night i ran an errand and had the power steering fail again. Issue not resolved. So i got back the next morning and they tell me they can diagnose the issue unless its active and there is a code. So i leave drive the truck around a bit and sure enough power steering goes out again. So i man handle my truck back and the adviser tell me "wow you weren't kidding about the steering" they briefly looked at the truck said the rack needed to be replaced. Quoted me 3000 to replace it. So i called eastern dodge and quoted me 2000 to replace the rack. Eastern also found the wiring harness connector was damaged. Waverly didn't even mention that. Waverly wasted 2 day i could have been working And misdiagnosed my issue costing me 500 and then wanted to charge me 1000 more than other dealers for the same proper repair. Never take your vehicle here. More
Excellent Customer Service I brought the vehicle in with one problem and while talking to Jesse, I mentioned that I had scratched my driver door by some branches and would have I brought the vehicle in with one problem and while talking to Jesse, I mentioned that I had scratched my driver door by some branches and would have to take it to a body shop. Jesse called me a little while later to say he had talked to someone in the shop and that for a minimal charge they would see if they could buff out the scratches. I gave approval and they were able to get out most of the scratches, which saved me a trip elsewhere and probably saved me some money. I really appreciated that Jesse went ahead to try and solve my problem; but I also want to say that he was not only very professional in our interactions; but treated me very courteously (not always the case in a car dealership). More

The soft top was not attached properly. It was not clipped on the one side. I couldn't stretch the canvas enough to clip it on - too cold maybe. I didn't want to mess with reseating the soft top in the cold weather, so I had to live with it until I could finally clip it on. On the other side, the zipper pin was not inserted properly, and could not pull all the way down - too tight. Half of the edge around the inside back half of the Jeep has a thick layer of dust on it. Whoever prepped this obviously just didn't care. After what we pay for dealer prep, this is unacceptable. Really bugged me. More

(We live East of Wpg) And ended up coming back to Waverly to see if they could show me the truck I was looking for at the price I wanted to spend and make me feel comfortable about it. (This was my first Brand New Truck) The salesman we had dealt with previously was no longer there, but ran into Ron who was very welcoming and accommodating. Ron helped me figure out the options I was looking for and the model of truck they came in. Ended up getting a beautiful 2018 Ram, I was hoping for more out of my trade but we had the deal done in roughly 2-3 hrs. Ron was great in finding other accessories for me, and made sure it was ready when promised. Cheryl was also very accommodating, she explained all the options available from Financing and when I passed on some she was understanding and sold me only what I was asking for. We will be back next time we are looking for our next vehicle. More

To be honest, my wife and I weren't very keen on buying a Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep product in the beginning, but as a systems expert, Randy gave us the confidence we needed to settle on a 2018 Grand Cherokee. He quite literally went the extra mile (or about 400 miles to Kenora and back) to make our deal happen. I'm certainly no expert in vehicle sales, but I suspect that your attitude, knowledge, and honesty will continue to serve you well. Thanks, Duke. I'll be sure to recommend you to anyone I know who will be in the market for a new vehicle (regardless of make) in the Winnipeg area. More

Only notice there is no heat in late Oct, brought the van back for service thinking they would "find" something else to correct and have to pay. Unfortunately, they did not find anything wrong even though I told them it is the new thermostat. Took the van home and drove it for a few days in an unseasonably cold Nov. No heat! This time, I called Craig Rogers (service manager). He had set up an appointment for the next morning. No hassle no delay! Once again later that day I was expecting the worse, but the worse never came. Instead, they had replaced the thermostat and now I have to take my jacket off when driving, despite the outside temp reads -15C. Thank you to Craig and the second technician that corrected the problem finally. More
