Service at the Laperriere location is superior. As a woman I appreciate that my concerns are taken into consideration; I am well respected and the rapport we have with one another is excellent. My 1998 woman I appreciate that my concerns are taken into consideration; I am well respected and the rapport we have with one another is excellent. My 1998 Malibu has 350,000 km. I attribute my car's long life to the excellent mechanical work performed on my car over the past 10 years and never once was I let down with the service. The mechanics are of a superior quality as are the front line lads (Tyler, Service Manager Serge Vanesse), these guys go out of their way to see that I receive the service my car requires and not more. As an example of going above and beyond, several years ago I was on my way to a Shania Twain concert. It was a dark, rainy miserable night and by the time I reached Ottawa (an hour's drive) the lights were dimming. My girlfriend and I headed straight for Turpin at around 6:30pm on a Saturday night. Two mechanics were working O/T on a van. I explained my predicament. They dropped everything, found ONE alternator in stock, changed it. The computer system was backing up so payment was not possible. They sent me on my way - we only missed the opening act. Monday I dropped in to pay the bill. When I first learned Turpin was to move to the Autoplex my heart sank. Another ½ hr drive for servicing - just wasn't going to happen. Then I learned Laperriere would remain open - I was thrilled. Last week I heard the announcement on the radio that Turpin was closing it's doors. Well, I was speechless, my heart sank. What are my options? As experience has taught me, wait a bit, so I did. Fern Turpin sent out a message this week saying they would remain open at the Laperriere location. I'm thrilled. What would I do without Turpin and their reliable staff? Not quite sure and hope I don't have to find out. To be able to depend upon this excellent service is so important. Thank you. More
We were informed of some repairs that needed looking after from our last visit. We would prefer not to leave the vehicle for the day & you have always been very accommodating by requesting we be there a after from our last visit. On this particular visit everything was done earlier than expected. It was ready & waiting when we got back from having breakfast. Service was great,length of time was great & we were explained the work done & some things to have done down the road.We were on our way by 9:45am. Thank you to everyone involved. Brenda Boisclair. I really wonder why Turpin was graded down when its quality of services, according to me, was much better than other dealerships. Their service quality exceeds all expectations. Everyone was polite and friendly. As usual, Turpin Auto World was wonderful for us. Last week and this week, We had occasion to have some minor/major repairs done on our 2002 Montana. Frank provided seamless delivery of getting us in for the repairs; and, he (with the shuttle service provided - thank you to both drivers!) made sure that we were shuttled home and back for the pick up of the repaired vehicle. Mark made sure that the vehicle was diligently repaired in a timely, and professional fashion. It is wonderful to know that there are those that truly can be counted on!. I have been going to this dealership (Laperriere Location - sorry if misspelled) for over 10 years for my Pontiac Grand Prix GTP 2002. I have never experienced honest, exceptional and accommodating service - sorry if misspelled) for over 10 years for my Pontiac Grand Prix GTP 2002. I have never experienced honest, exceptional and accommodating service like this before and I have dealt with VW, Honda and Toyota prior to my Pontiac. I am sad to see it go as I believe Pontiac had great cars. There have been a few times when I needed some service done promptly and they have always accommodated me (not sure of the Service Managers name but he was beyond exceptional and recognized my patronage) in order to get the work done. My Chev Malibu was serviced to my satisfaction but on paying my bill, i was informed that an oil leak had been detected and I should bring the car back in for another $110 inspection very quickly as the paying my bill, i was informed that an oil leak had been detected and I should bring the car back in for another $110 inspection very quickly as the engine could seize and be very damaging & costly. I felt that this fact should have been printed out on my bill. However as I explained to Chris the car is under warranty and in fact Myers where I purchased the car did such a repair on the engine this past March 2011. I'll be taking my Malibu back to Myers tomorrow for servicing. My previous experience this past March, had the oil pressure guage flucuating and showing empty but no such indication appeared this past week before I brought the Malibu to you for routine servicing. After purchasing my Saturn aura from Turpin in 2008, I have had excellent service and great business relations with them, even after their moving to another location.
