In the customers' face It has been my recent experience at Kingsway Toyota in Edmonton, Alberta, to find a new and refreshing face on those people who mostly deal directly w It has been my recent experience at Kingsway Toyota in Edmonton, Alberta, to find a new and refreshing face on those people who mostly deal directly with the customer. In particular, Haneen Halabi, Service Advisor, and two drivers, Salim Dossa and Gary Hayton, who have been most accommodating in their service to me, and my wife. Both of us have been Customers of Kingsway Toyota since 1987. We have owned three Camry's, a Tercel and a Corolla. Under the management of Paul Stocks, we had the finest service either of us had ever experienced from car dealerships. When he moved on and the dealership came under new management, the service faltered and then nearly dropped off completely. After bringing my vehicle in for a period of three years for a problem, which went undetected until I brought the car to another service centre, I learned that the "noise" I had complained of, were badly needed struts for the front end. The other service centre determined the cause of the noise immediately! From that time, I ceased to return to Kingsway for service on the Camry. We continued to bring the Corolla in as there were no problems related with it, being a relatively new vehicle. In recent months, my "new" service centre was over booked, and so, in desperation, I returned to Kingsway Toyota to be greeted by the rather warm and wonderful Haneen. She listened to my concerns with real interest and seemed to me to do all she was able to help and make my concerns dealt with in a realistic, though somewhat costly manner - shop hour charges are $120.00 per hour, as compare to $80.00 per hour at my new service centre. Haneen was kind, honest to the core, which I greatly admire and appreciate. She seemed to almost go out of her way to make my dealings with Kingsway a positive experience, which, because of her, was so. Along with Haneen's marvellous manner, was that same care and attention from the two drivers I had on my next few visits, namely, Salim Dossa and Gary Hayton. They are very courteous and safe drivers, also with a warm and open manner. It is my hope, that the Service shop itself will someday restore in me the same trust and confidence, so that, even though the price of service is high, we can re-establish a relationship where I feel confident in the ability of the work and trust that the work done is complete, and that I do not have to keep returning a few days or weeks later to fix something's that was missed.
