Mike the sales guy was very in tune with what I wanted the vehicle for and stayed well after his shift to help. I would only deal with him from this point out with new vehicles , and will be trading in my wife's in the fall. The financial guys John and deep went all out for me and we're very efficient at getting my financing and a great deal. Christopher was helping out my sale in the background and other sales people like Maja even aided in me swapping items from my old vehicle. More

We were bounced around four dif Recently purchased a 2008 Tacoma from Kingway Toyota and was as seriously unimpressed by the quality of service there. We were bounced around four different sales persons, one of whom made us an offer that was $1000 OVER the advertised price, and who tried to sell us undercoating for an addition $450, even though the vehicle had already had undercoating applied when it was brought in by the previous owner. This we found out later when we asked about a customer satisfaction recall that we knew had been sent out for Tacos of this age. There are two possibilities for his behavior: either he doesn't know what's going on with the vehicles on the lot, or he was insulting my intelligence and trying to get money for nothing. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt that it was incompetence and not crookery. We tried to negotiate a lower price for the vehicle, given that we had a couple concerns about its history. I was then told by another salesperson that they had paid the full asking price of the vehicle and so they couldn't go lower than $100 below that price. Again, two options: either you think I'm an idiot and will actually believe that you paid what you were asking for it, or you are really bad at making business decisions and you did pay an exorbitant amount over its wholesale value. I'm going with option 1 in this case. Buddy didn't think I knew the wholesale value of the truck. Think again. We liked the truck, so we stuck it out with Kingsway and negotiated a price we were okay with. We were paying in cash, but nonetheless waited 45 minutes to speak to a finance person (do you know how many episodes of Judge Judy that was in the waiting room? A LOT.) Then, the next day, when we went to purchase insurance and register the vehicle, that same finance person left us waiting for 2 hours at AMA for the fax that he had told us he could get us no problem. After many, many phone calls, his colleague eventually sent the fax, but not after I had spent half my afternoon waiting for a single page fax. The same night we purchased the vehicle we got a call informing us that they had overcharged our credit card by $1000 and had immediately refunded it. No doubt that was an honest mistake, but when piled atop the rest of our experience it was the icing on the cake. And last but not least. We realized too late that there was only one set of keys for the truck. I called to ask about another set, was told they could do it at the dealership and they'd call me back with a price. I'm still waiting. More

Poor customer service, lack of respect for customer My wife and I bought a 2016 Forerunner from Kingsway. Everything started out okay and payment that met our budget we agreed upon. As I travel for busi My wife and I bought a 2016 Forerunner from Kingsway. Everything started out okay and payment that met our budget we agreed upon. As I travel for business the papers had to be emailed to me to sign and I noticed that the lenght of the loan was different than what we discussed. Upon ensuring what this did to the payments my wife was told they Would be higher than what we agreed to. Had we not asked I'm sure that no one would ever had said anything.the finance person seemed more concerned with the review would be giving her than to the service she was providing us. To the extent that she promised a free oil change if we gave her high marks. After hours on the phone with the finance manager and threatening to return to pick up our deposit this issue was finally resolved. If this was the only problem I could overlook it but upon delivery of the vehicle the second issue arose. The vehicle was supposed to have a set of winter tires on it and a set of summer tires in storage. Great deal huh? When my wife picked up the vehicle the she was told the summer tires were not there. So I offered to pick them up in my truck. I changed an appointment I had scheduled so I cou.d go by and get them the next week when I arrived home from a business trip. That morning we were told the tires weren't there from the storage unit yet. No problem except I had already changed my appointment and now I have to sit at home and wait for someone to deliver me our tires. Eventually the tires showed up. A week or so goes by and we take the tires and vehicle to Kal tire to get the tires changed over and are told the key for the lug nuts is not in the vehicle. So off to Kingsway we go to get the lug nut key that should have been in the vehicle when delivered (obviously the pre delivery inspection missed that little detail) while at Kingsway we get a call from Kal tire. Telling us not only is there no lug nut key but we have 2 sets of all season tires, there are no winter tires. Huh. We tell the sales manager this fact and he argues with us that Kal tire is wrong. That there is winter tires. So off the Kal tire we go to .oad the tire up in my truck and bring the tires and forerunner back to Kingsway. Guess what's? Kal tire was right. 2 sets of all season tires. Well I guess what happened is the manager who had the forerunner as adenosine before the finance manager had the winter tire put on her new demo and nobody bothered to tell anyone so this little fact cost my wife a day's pay cause she took the day off and wasted my day sitting in their show room and driving to Sherwood park and back. Oh well! Now to the final problem at least at the time of writing this. We didn't get a spare key. No one could find it. You would think that 3 months ago when we bought the vehicle someone would realize this and order one but no. Not Kingsway. So finally when we dealt with the tire issue we told the sales manager and general sales manager we want the key and one was ordered. I guess it arrived April 12th but. No one called us. So may rolls around and my wife calls. She speaks with the sales manager. He say I will will call you back in 10 minutes. 2 days later no call. I can't say I was surprised. She called the general sales.manager. Leaves amessage for him. No call back so finally I call the sales manager. He say ya the key was here. He doesn't know why service never called up once it was ordered it was out of his hands. No follow up, no let's check to see if they received it. You would think that after all the problems they would want to ensure that something went right. Nope. No Kingsway. So he promised the key would be at reception and my wife could pick it up. Great. She goes ther today and guess what no key at reception. You have got to be kidding me. This is there idea of customer service. When they finally found the key she was told 15 minutes to program it and you're done. That was by the general sales manager. Only problem is the service guy said they can't do it in 15 minutes it would take longer. Now we have an an appointment when the vehicle can be dropped off so the key can be programmed, oh ya and fix the rear wiper which is broken and they knew about at the time we test drove it. Another wasted day for me driving my wife to work and then picking her up to take her to the Kingsway to get the vehicle. No customer service no respect for the customer More

Aggreived I would definitely not recommend this dealership. It was very unwelcoming experience that I and my friend faced when we met Maja.
