Had a great experience dealing with Cedric Martindale and Dom Gulli to purchase a used Tundra. They were honest and sincere with their approach. Worked to help me obtain a fair valued outcome. We ordered a vehicle here which was over 1. 5 years ago. We have the original agreement which we signed which had a price and clearly showed no trade In. They called like 6 months ago saying oh 5 years ago. We have the original agreement which we signed which had a price and clearly showed no trade In. They called like 6 months ago saying oh we got one in you can have but wanted us to trade our old vehicle in which we said no as we needed both. We have a large family. Now again they call after 6 months that our vehicle has arrived and to come in the next day to sign paperwork. The night before they send us a new bill of sale at 9 pm with a new price and stating now we need a trade in. We go to the dealer ship the next day and they pretty much refused to give us our vehicle which we have been waiting 1.5 years ago. The manager chris was so rude and pretty much kept saying oh ur only 2 options are either you trade your vehicle on or ur not getting the vehicle which we have been patiently waiting for for 1.5 years. This is very shady business practice that they up the price almost 5k from the signed agreement we have. Then they send us a completely different bill of sale at 9 pm night before we are to come in and sign for the vehicle. Then when we go in they refuse to give us the vehicle we ordered 1.5 years ago as we weren't willing to trade in our old Toyota. They lied and kept saying oh we prioritizing you cause you are gonna give us a trade In when we never agreed to that and it's clearly written on the agreement we signed. Again very shady business practices and dishonesty. We will be contacting Amvic and the local news so others don't get taken advantage like they do so many people who just don't stand up for themselves like we are. Don't let these shady dealerships do this to you. Stay away and take your business somewhere else. More
Barb was an absolute delight to work with. She made the whole purchase stress free and exciting at the same time. Will definitely recommend her to all my friends and family. Dealt with Lukasz, Binyam, and Kyle and the service was excellent. They were able to get us the vehicle we wanted, quickly, for a great price and with no added hassle or pressure. It's unfortunate we need to write this review as a repeat customer. My wife purchased a 2018 Corolla 5 years ago. She had a relatively good experience (except with the finance department). Fast forward customer. My wife purchased a 2018 Corolla 5 years ago. She had a relatively good experience (except with the finance department). Fast forward to today, we went back (driving from SOUTHwest Edmonton) due to that positive experience to try and purchase a new RAV4. A unit was going to be available in two weeks, so we tried to put a cash deal together incentives to entice the dealer to sell us the vehicle (otherwise you need to finance, which is understandable from a business perspective), or wait 4 to 6 months. Unfortunately, our corolla was written off three weeks ago in a no-fault collision. Initially things seem to be going well until today, despite us adding incentives such as trim and rim protection, auto-theft protection, rustproofing, undercoating and partial 3M protection. Our thoughts about adding a warranty required additional time (previously we had a platinum warranty, due to the cost increase, we had to reconsider, approximately $2519, previously in 2018 $2249). The dealer insisted a warranty was required to complete a cash deal, we said we will add one on when the vehicle was ready. Moreover, it is bad practice to force an incentive on someone. In summary, we did the following: I offered trim and rim protection ($298 each), auto-theft protection ($298 each), rustproofing, undercoating and partial 3M, each valued at $899, and a referral (our friend needs a car). Total incentive = $2697.00, plus trim and rim protection and auto-theft protection. The dealer suggested the following initially: $2000 for full 3M (discounted from $2500) and a minimal warranty of $1500. So, the total incentive would have been $3500, plus trim and rim, and auto-theft protection. The difference in incentive = $3500 - $2697 = $803 dollars. At the end of the day, the dealer decided to release to car for sale again, rather than trying to negotiate on the warranty (there are 3 levels of warranty; powertrain, gold, platinum, platinum being the highest) Thus, the car was released over $800 dollars essentially. It doesn't sound the Northwest Toyota (Sherwood Toyota has the same owner) values a repeat customer. Further, what I didn't like is they said I should shop around and do my due diligence. Our family bought our first corolla in the 1980s. Each vehicle we have owned (Corolla's, Tercel, Honda's, Acura's) has lasted us a long time. We switched to Honda's from 2011 to 2015 due to Toyota recalls, until returning to Toyota in 2018 as Toyota was back on top in quality. I have done my due diligence as such. Then, they advised me I should contact them. The dealer can contact me if they wish. As a repeat customer, we will not chase. We deserve better. The only positive thing I can say is Barbara and Evelina were nice and tried to advocate for us. Very disappointing. Do not buy from Northwest or Sherwood Toyota. I wish I was able to write a positive experience, which could have been easily done. That fault lies squarely on the management of this dealership. Head office has been notified as well. More

The Worst dealership I have ever dealt with for lack of honesty. Excellent at saying what they think you want to hear, even if it is not true. I wanted a refund for accessories ordered but not delivered, ( honesty. Excellent at saying what they think you want to hear, even if it is not true. I wanted a refund for accessories ordered but not delivered, (after being assured they would arrive with my vehicle). Classic “the cheque is in the mail”. When I visited the dealership for the third time, they told me it was mailed and had been returned by the post office. Oddly enough after all that time in the mail, it was dated the day I went back for the third time to pick it up. Easy enough to admit they forgot to mail it but instead they looked me in the eye and lied about it. More
