The business manager and the sales manager were a 100% as well. my past experience with the ( old) Kings way would have been less than a 5 out of 10. More
I was interested in a Prius hatchback and was looking to do a trade-in. Office staff was friendly and certainly sold the Prius on me. However when reviewing the value of my trade-in I was advised the valu do a trade-in. Office staff was friendly and certainly sold the Prius on me. However when reviewing the value of my trade-in I was advised the value was lowered about $1000.00 because of the vehicle's brakes. I was told the brakes "were done" and that I should not even be driving my car in that condition. The interest rate offered to me by the sales manager was higher than what I was told by the agent was available. I left still considering my options for purchasing a Prius. Because of the warnings I'd been given about the brakes, I brought my car in for an inspection the very next morning. There was NOTHING wrong with my brakes. For roughly a $1,000 they forever lost me as customer. More
My partner and I were on the market for a new car. After visiting many dealerships, we found Kingsway Toyota to be the most knowledgable, helpful and friendly dealership. After much receiving seemingly end visiting many dealerships, we found Kingsway Toyota to be the most knowledgable, helpful and friendly dealership. After much receiving seemingly endless amounts of trouble via outside sources, Kingsway Toyota was incredibly helpful and understanding. They were trusting which in turn, led us to trust them. We are extremely happy with our purchase, but even happier with the service EVERYONE provided us. I would highly recommend this dealership to everyone I know - whether you're on the market for a new or used vehicle. We will definitely revisit. More
All the staff that I came in contact with were very helpful and very courteous and overall I was impressed with the service that I received. You will notice however that the price rating I rated as 'b helpful and very courteous and overall I was impressed with the service that I received. You will notice however that the price rating I rated as 'bad' , not because of the actual product which I am very happy with, but because of the fact that the admin fee, anti-theft, nitro and tire&rim were not mentioned, as I recall, until I was asked to sign the bill of sale. These items added an extra $1465 to the MSVP, I would have appreciated if these extra charges had been mentioned earlier in the negotiations. As it is, I still don't understand what the $299 for "tire & rim" is for, I do know that the premium model that I purchased has 16" wheels as opposed to the regular 15" but then this must surely be covered by the difference in price of the Technology model and the Premium model. Peculiar to read reviews and see they were all so high. Then again, the only reason I had seen this site was because I was waiting at this particular salespersons desk for so long and happened to see a sta Then again, the only reason I had seen this site was because I was waiting at this particular salespersons desk for so long and happened to see a stack of cards promoting this website. Nevertheless, went in and was looking towards purchasing a Prius C from this dealer as it is the closest location to where I live. Long story, so I apologize ahead of time. As I arrive on a monday afternoon, she introduced herself to me while I was looking at the C, while introducing myself, she starts taking a deposit from another customer while "listening" to me. I gave her time to finish her transaction before going on but she insisted she was listening. While explaining to her what I was looking for in the Prius C she left me mid sentence and went and said good bye to her other customer. Upon coming back, she started talking about her own prius for 20 minutes. It was fine, but really quite unnecessary. After she was done rambling, I requested what the timetable was for getting a "C" , since I knew it has been a good seller since it's release. She lead me to her desk for more ramblings about her own vehicle, and as I tried to get her to talk about the C, rather then the same stories about how great the prius is on the highway, and how unnoticeable the difference in highway stability is between her car and her husbands truck, asked her simple questions regarding option differences between models (which I already knew about prior to going in). She had little knowledge of the vehicle and referred to the brochure while I spoke to her, which would be fine, if she read the facts properly. As she was trying to upsell me the technology premium package she had falsely told me that the standard technology package only came with 15" steel wheels (while staring intently at the brochure) This I already knew was false, so ignored it as an unknowledgeable salesperson, could have been a tact to try to upsell me, but either way a minor quibble I knew I could worry about it when purchasing. Went on to ask me about other cars I had been testing, "Buick, Ford, Mazda, Honda, Kia..." as soon as I said kia her hand goes to her forehead and she says, "you would be dead in a kia" Not really sure what that comment was about, could have been a language barrier, but when I said "At least they don't have problems stopping" was where she finally did not have a BS answer, probably could have used one. Unfortunately it lead to her trying to sell me a camry, corolla, prius, prius V, pretty much anything other than what I actually came for. Anyhow when I asked for a test drive, she said there were none on the lot, which is fine, so I suggested I set up an appointment as there was a C sitting in the showroom. She said there was a regular prius to try out and I agreed to check this out today to see how a hybrid performed as I have never driven one personally. 30 minutes later she returned and said she couldn't find the keys. Instead she would take me into a camry. Umm, what does that vehicle have anything to do with a Prius C? I swiftly declined, and to my shagrin, she went on again saying that she already told me the highway performance is great in a prius, eventhough she has never driven a C and to trust her... I honestly hadn't trusted anything of what she has told me and had no reason to. I tried to remain polite as we were going on well over an hour of getting nothing accomplished so when I again asked if I could experience it for myself at a later date. She asked if I was serious about purchasing. I said of course, I know what model, what colour, what package and what options I wanted. She tells me to "Fill out all the paperwork of your intent to purchase, all you need to do is write a note saying pending test drive." No thanks! More

I purchased a truck from Kingsway Toyota Wednesday April 11. The next morning the truck did not start and left me stranded, kingsway reacted quickly and sent in a mechanic to my house to fix the issue, he c 11. The next morning the truck did not start and left me stranded, kingsway reacted quickly and sent in a mechanic to my house to fix the issue, he couldnt get the vehicle started. They payed for the vehicle to be towed to another dealership (DK Ford) to be fixed, DK replaced the relay switch. Tuesday I picked up the "fixed vehicle" from Kingsway, drove it home fine. Next day vehicle did not start, I tried calling Kingsway to let them know once again I was stranded, no response back. I got a friend to drive me to write my U of A final exam which i showed up 30 minutes late to. I got a hold of Craig (used car sales manager at Kingsway) and he asked what was wrong and immediately got off the phone with me when I tried to work out an issue. His response " Oh DK ford is on the other line with me now, I gotta go" and he hung up. I called DK ford and they were not even in contact with Craig or Kingsway regarding the vehicle. I called numerous times and left messages with Kingsway about the vehicle still not running. FInally I called and asked to speak with who ever was in Charge, his name was Chris ( 780-984-0571). He helped me get the vehicle towed to DK Ford right away nicely. DK Ford called me today and said an estimate of 2000$ in repairs are needed, the electronic shifter needs to be repaired and the blendor motor (sits behind the dash blends hot and cold air). He said the blendor motor is almost done, he mentioned the ticking noise gave this away. When I took the vehicle for a test drive I pointed out that noise to Phillipe (used car sales at Kingsway) he said this was normal navigation warming up. I contacted Keith telling him the issues with the truck and he started to get angry saying the truck was fine when it left. I have put roughly 50 km on this truck since I have purchased it and it is falling apart. Chris said they will not fix the motor "because it doesnt need to be fixed". Better fact is Kingsway left me stranded on the highway as I tried to call Craig numerous times. Also kingsway didnt detail or even clean the truck out for me when I purchased the Unit for 25,000$. Im a student and thats a lot of saved money for me. Their was garbage left in the seats ( Fort McMurray oil kings tickets and cups). I am left right now with a vehicle that wont even start and repairs that they wont cover because it doesnt need to be. Also the sales man Phillipe lied and told me that ticking noise was normal, they have been horrible in everything they have done. I am in the middle of Final exams in my last year at the U of A and i just want to end this whole situation. I want my money back for a vehicle that has not even been off their lot for 7 days. More
I purchased my new 2012 Tacoma in December 2011 from Kingsway. Before the purchase was made Alex was incredibly helpful in getting the exact vehicle I wanted, having to bring it in from another dealers Kingsway. Before the purchase was made Alex was incredibly helpful in getting the exact vehicle I wanted, having to bring it in from another dealership. I had planned to pick it up later than I actually did, but happened to be in Edmonton so I stopped by the dealership unexpected. Alex and the team at Kingsway went above and beyond to ensure I could take delivery of my Tacoma that same day. At this point I was quite impressed with everything, especially the truck. Unfortunately, since that time there remains the issue that the truck was delivered with only one key. I've tried on multiple occasions to resolve this but emails seem to go unanswered. The vehicle was also delivered with an empty tank of gas (gas light was actually on). Alex was made aware of both of these things via a follow up phone call shortly after I received the truck. Although not huge issues, it would have been nice to have them dealt with. As for the Tacoma, it's a great truck; no regrets buying it. More
