I was looking for a vehicle that was safe and reliable and had investigated the Toyota Rav4 and we went to Kingsway Toyota where we were welcomed by the reception in a friendly atmosphere. We spoke with and had investigated the Toyota Rav4 and we went to Kingsway Toyota where we were welcomed by the reception in a friendly atmosphere. We spoke with Thejus Swamy who showed exceptional customer service and a straight forwardness that I appreciate in discussing my requirements, vehicle options and financing options available to ensure I was comfortable with my purchase. Maja also showed exceptional customer service and ensured that this was the vehicle that would fit my needs. Financing through Anne Savoie-McKechney and Christopher Clarke who also ensured the financing process was seamless. Wade MacWilliam was also helpful in making sure that any questions I had were answered. I would and have highly recommended Kingsway Toyota because of the exceptional customer service I received from everyone and the honest friendly approach. More
Thejus Swamy is one Sales Manager who not only knows his job very well inside and out, but more importantly, has excellent Human Relations skills giving a lot of premium in customer satisfaction. In other w job very well inside and out, but more importantly, has excellent Human Relations skills giving a lot of premium in customer satisfaction. In other words, I see him as having 2 important targets in his day to day activities: 1) setting sales record, and (2) giving full customer satisfaction in the process. . these 2 go hand in hand for him. Ron Sewak, Prashanth (younger brother of Thejus) and Mr. Mario Zabielski are awesome guys in their respective fields as well. I will be a loyal Kingsway Toyota customer and I have recommended this dealership to my co-workers at the Government of Alberta. Thanks guys! --- Chris R. More

I am a returning customer who came to purchase a new vehicle and was very unhappy with the service I received so I decided to look elsewhere. Shortly after my visit, the sales manager Tejus Swamy connec vehicle and was very unhappy with the service I received so I decided to look elsewhere. Shortly after my visit, the sales manager Tejus Swamy connected me to find out why I did not purchase a new vehicle as indicated. I told him my problems and he immediately became determined to win me back and let me tell you, I was not easy. I was so angry by my experience that he had to move a mountain. Which he did with his professionalism, his vehicle knowledge, his affable personality and his determination to provide me with the best possible deal that he could within my budget. I traded in my 2010 Toyota Camry Hybrid and now am the proud owner of a 2012 Camry Hybrid which I love - Tejus has been more that a salesman to me - he has followed up to see how the vehicle is performing,he made certain that I received the after sales items he promised e.g. car starter and he has my back in regards to my car care. I have told my daughter and son when they are ready to purchase new vehicles, Tejus is the only person to see. I went from a totally dissatisfied customer to a very well looked after one and I thank Tejus everyday for my great vehicle and the time he took with me. He is my hero!!!! More

This is a long story, but I thought it was worth telling. I normally do my own work but, having just moved to Edmonton, no room in garage yet to work well and the washer pump is out on my wife's vehicle. I normally do my own work but, having just moved to Edmonton, no room in garage yet to work well and the washer pump is out on my wife's vehicle. I took her 1992 Toyota 4Runner in to have the windshield washer pump fixed, get an oil change and the headlights aimed. Since it just turned over a 100,000 Klms, no that isn't a typo, I asked them to give it a good going over. The first time round I was not at all happy with the way the service turned out. They did not use the synthetic oil I asked for in the Diffs, motor and transfer case, they forgot to align the headlights as requested, and they could not fix the washer pump as they had no parts. In addition, in their extensive 155 point check, for which they charge $155, they missed the rear tail light and both plate bulbs being out, did not examine the brakes and recommend a transmission flush, throttle body flush, brake fluid flush and coolant replace. The transmission and coolant had been done 3,000 klms earlier and I had advised the service writer of that but she had not written it down. To top it off. the vehicle does not have a throttle body. So I pick up my truck, get a bill for $600 bucks, and the main things I took it in for aren't even done. Service manager is not around. I dropped in a couple of times to talk to Dave, we never connected. Left him 2 voice mails that were never returned, and then sent him an email with the above content. Once he read my email, he called me immediately, which was a little over a week after I tried originally to get hold of him. Now all this sounds about as bad as service can get. The difference is in how they handled it. He was very apologetic about the poor service experience. He sent a fellow out with a courtesy car, picked up my vehicle on Dec 21St. (By this time I had fixed the washer pump myself). He assured me it would not be the same service tech. They re-did all of the oil with synthetic, fixed all lights, inspected brakes etc. Now this sounds like basically what they should have done the first time. While the service was being done, the tech examined the timing belt. It was worn, cracked and needed replacement. Dave called me to let me know and as I was going by, I dropped in. I was offered the opportunity to examine the belt on the car, but for some reason I had come to trust Dave and did not feel the need to wait another ten minutes to verify his recommendation. Twenty year old fiber belt, seemed pretty likely it would need replacing. I did see the removed parts and the belt and idler really did need replacing. Took them over Christmas what with the parts they needed. Did the water pump at the same time no charge, worth about $300 installed, as Dave's way of apologising. The bill for this work was another $800, against an original estimate of approximately $400, they also needed to replace the idler/tension pulley with a parts cost of $260. All in, spent $1400 dollars, very happy with the final outcome, but it proves that even at a well run dealerships it helps to know what you are doing because even they end up with rotten apples working for them. The proof they are a top outfit is how they fixed their rotten apple's mistakes. I would recommend them with the reservation that you must make sure you carefully check what was done, and what is recommended. More
