I just purchased my first car from Kingsway Toyota and am very pleased with the professional and personable service I received from the Kingsway team. From my initial online chat while checking out the dealership website, Davin Swift, Product Advisor, was quick to contact me and set up a time to come in and see my vehicles of choice. Like anyone proficient in sales, he made the effort to connect with me on an interpersonal level and catered the tone of the product consultation accordingly, ultimately getting my "yes" on the vehicle. Kyle Caldwell, Financial Services Manager took over from here, guiding me through the financing side of the transaction. Kyle we extremely well versed on the financial options and logistics at hand which instilled confidence in the decisions I was making. Overall, I was able to walk away from Kingsway Toyota with the vehicle I wanted, not only within my stated budget, but with piece of mind that I have a trusted dealership to deal with for the life of my vehicle (and perhaps for more to come). Like most people we experienced sticker shock when the transport charges were added to the price, some $1,600. All through the process Roneil was helpful, straight shooting and he seemed to get us to the compromise on price we were looking for without a protracted and painful negotiation. When a mistake was made going from the offer to a final bill of sale, he was very helpful and straightened it out without delay. He delivered what he promised and he was very helpful even after the sale was closed, right up to delivery. Kudos and a big thanks to him! We also found the reception folks to be uncommonly friendly, engaging and helpful. The finance department did a very hard-sell on the extra warrenty, something we couldn't seem to say "no" to enough times. It was a harder sell than the energy guys at your door. The finance manager Chris eventually took over and helped us complete the paperwork to complete the transaction. The warrently sales pitch is the only thing that keeps us from a five star rating. More

Will never use this dealership again During negotiation I got everything I wanted for the price I wanted. At this point I was very happy. It quickly turned into a nightmare. The day I showed up to pick up my new vehicle, it wasn't ready. I travelled 4 hours to come into Edmonton to get my car and it was not ready....are you kidding me? then I waited for over 5 hours for them to run around and figure out what was going on. As I waited there were also 2 other people there waiting for their car that was also not ready. Is this a habit?? When I finally left the dealership (yes with my new car), close to 8pm (still having to drive another 4 hours home) I left very unhappy. The price I negotiated wasn't right, the extra things I was told I will get...I got most but not all. It's been over a month now and I'm still fighting with this dealership. More

Such a terrible experience I started out dealing with this dealership by accident. I ended up making a deal elsewhere and will admit that my latter experience was such a tremend I started out dealing with this dealership by accident. I ended up making a deal elsewhere and will admit that my latter experience was such a tremendous experience that I was almost in tears because of the relief I experienced that my deal with kingsway was finally over. But wait... I am still being hounded, threatened and price gouged. I have never been lied to by so many people at the same time in the same location. Salesman...Liar. Financing...Liar. Reception... clueless. I urge you to look elsewhere to do business. Please feel free to contact me for details. dchrenek@shaw.ca. They refuse to give me back my deposit which was used to hold a vehicle that was damaged. A scratch that took three weeks to fix. Everytime I visited the dealership I waited hours. One saturday my son and I wasted the entire day sitting and waiting. A friday some time later I was happy to be done work early to get my new Tacoma. I got there a little early(3:45) and did not leave there tip 7:30 that night. Good bye Friday. Sales manager...Liar. Asked for a different vehicle and colour as they were unable to fix this one properly. Was told that no others were in the area. Lie! I was on the phone moments before and found two. I found a unit a year newer, nicer, no scratches for less money. The people at kingsway toyota do not care about you. By the way, the salesman was fired due to this and other dealings. These people are finger pointers and blame one department or another yet claim that they all work as a team. The last dealings I had was with the head of the finance dept. In all fairness he tried but it was to late, and he won't refund my money and like to say "it wasn't my fault!" These people kept saying "What can I do to make you happy?". I hated this more than anything... You are in the business of selling cars, you get up each day and you go to work selling cars. Why should I need to tell you how to sell a car? Do you get up in the morning and say "I have no idea how to make a customer satisfied at the end of the day while still earning money, I guess I"ll just ask the customer how to do a good job."? If I relied on others to do my job for me I wouldn't be needed, would I? I could go on and on but I'm tired. I urge you to contact my email if you would like to learn more. These guys coached me before on how to use the dealrater site. I left a good review before I had all the details and I apologize if I led anyone astray. One more thing... Yes, typically sales guy comes up to you and introduce a car, but Gerry greets you politely without "selling you out". He cares about the needs and wants of the client and he will genuinely help you pick a car that will not only suit your needs but will be worth every penny you spend.
