This was, by far, the nicest, biggest and the most modern Toyota dealer I have ever been to with such a wide inventory of vehicles. Hands down to Brett, our sales agent together with Dom (Manager) and Elizab Toyota dealer I have ever been to with such a wide inventory of vehicles. Hands down to Brett, our sales agent together with Dom (Manager) and Elizabeth (Finance). If not for their team, I wouldn’t have been able to found the perfect SUV for my Dad. They were so patient, understanding and attentive to our needs and requests. They offered us with a very competitive rate and gave a big discount to help accommodate our budget. They also gave away free accessories. To be honest, I wouldn’t be able to get a better deal else where!! To Brett, if you are reading this, thank you so much for all your assistance! Rarely would you find a very honest, patient and straightforward sales agent. Thank you for going above and beyond to help us get my Dad his first vehicle here in Canada! If anyone here is looking for a new vehicle or would like to trade in theirs, my family and I highly recommend Brett of Toyota Northwest! More
Horrible experience with this dealership! ! Seriously avoid these guys for the sake of your own self respect and go ahead with other more honest, ethical, and professional Toyota dealerships i ! Seriously avoid these guys for the sake of your own self respect and go ahead with other more honest, ethical, and professional Toyota dealerships in Edmonton if you can! Back in May when I booked my gas (not hybrid) Toyota XLE, I was told 2-4 months for a gas model which is why I went with them over another dealership since I needed a vehicle soon (I was very flexible with the colour of the vehicle too which I repeatedly notified to them). After around 2.5 to 3 months when I did not hear anything from them, I inquired with the salesperson and was notified that my car was confirmed for mid-September. I really needed a car at that time and requested a loaner but was denied "since it's only a little over a month to wait for your new car". Comes mid-Sept and I hear nothing from them, and when I inquire again they said it's end of September and that "it's usually not delayed beyond that". Then it's end of September and when I continue to not hear anything from them (as usual) I had to inquire again and was notified by an extremely uncourteous Jonathan "ze manager" that the delivery has been delayed by 2 further weeks. And guess what, and as always since they don't bother notifying us lowly customers, I had to inquire again to which I was told that the new ETA is mid-December (seriously?) I then get a call from "ze manager" and I conveyed my dissappointment for not being appropriately notified about the constant delivery time changes and the significant delay, which really shouldn't take 8 months for a gas model and even if that's the case then customers should, at the very least, be appropriately notified when delivery times change. Instead of genuinely apologizing for the serious inconvenience that this has caused to me, ze manager decides to give me an attitude telling me in the most apathetic/"sucks-to-be-you" tone I've heard from a customer service manager - "well there's delays from Toyota's end and we have 1000s of customers" and "I won't be able to take your call tomorrow [indirectly stating that they don't care irrespective of how much inconvenience this has caused me]" Seriously Toyota Northwest?? That's the attitude of one of your managers?? Apologies if we lowly customer termites are disgracing your god emperor managers by dishonoring them through our low-life provincial inquiries as you make us painfully wait forever for divine Olympian cars manufactured directly by Zeus and Poseidon. To the dear god emperor manager who graced me with his time and voice, thanks for your condescending and derogatory attitude which, besides the unprofessional and unethical service I've experienced here, has earned your dealership a one star! I will be reporting this to the Toyota leadership in Canada More
An absolute joke of a dealership and general sales manager. I went in to this dealership with a very clear budget and desired payment plan that I presented to the sales team immediately. This is n manager. I went in to this dealership with a very clear budget and desired payment plan that I presented to the sales team immediately. This is not my first time purchasing a vehicle and I made it very clear I was there to make a deal and give them my business BUT we didn’t want the run around. I gave exact numbers— this is the biweekly amount I can afford over this amount of time. Period. They began by offering me about 1/6th of the current value of my vehicle for trade in; again, this is not my first time buying a vehicle, I’m aware they will always attempt to low ball, but the amount they offered was absolutely absurd, even coming from a low-rated car dealership such as this one. When I said no deal, I was sent from staff member to staff member to endure a never ending gauntlet of xxxxxxxx excuses about why they could only offer me so much for my trade in, and why their “bottom dollar deal” on the vehicle I wanted was about $15000 more than I had set as my maximum. No one attempted to even pretend to give me a better deal or work with me, just to justify their profit (as if I don’t understand how sales work). After two hours of this run around, I asked if they were going to be able to give me what I asked for, because I was done playing games. They said they weren’t able to on this vehicle, so I thanked them for their time and tried to leave. As I’m walking out the door, I hear the classic “NO WAIT!!” And am asked to stay and told that they can magically now drop their bottom dollar to what I’ve asked for. Great— we’re in business. I come back to talk about the deal and am now passed off to the real root of the issue: the ever so charming and charismatic sales manager, Luke. Luke proceeds to start over on the xxxxxxxx from before and, even though I’ve only agreed to proceed with this sale because they’ve literally begged me to and told me they could give me what I want, begins to back track on everything his sales team has told me and go back to trying to sell to me at the much higher price. I state at this point that, as I’ve just said, I am no longer interested in discussing that deal, and I would like to know if he is offering me the deal I’ve asked for, because if not, I would like to leave. Well it was then that I learned that not only is Luke surely the owner of a “worlds worst boss” mug (that he thinks was given in jest but absolutely wasn’t), but he is also something of a world champion dodgeball player as the continual running around, dodging and deflecting my questions, and raw aggression that took place in the next five minutes were truly astounding. Luke proceeded to tell me that they…. A car dealership…. Don’t “need” to make sales, and that he could either help me or we could “part ways”. I never wanted to join ways with him in the first place and I highly suggest no one opt to of their own free will, because when I stated for probably the 15th time in ten minutes that I was not interested in the deal he was offering, he stood up and announced his departure with an extremely mature “GOOD. BYE!!” And stomped out of the dealership. Hopefully to an anger management or leadership course. I would never recommend anyone bring their business here and will be sure to warn all of my friends and family to avoid anywhere this Luke might find himself employed. More
I just wanted to send a big Kudos to Northwest Edmonton Toyota and their service department. Namely one of their shop Foreman Richie Mozak. I had come from Calgary to help my mom with some car repairs on h Toyota and their service department. Namely one of their shop Foreman Richie Mozak. I had come from Calgary to help my mom with some car repairs on her older Toyota Camry. During the repairs I ran short on some parts so I stopped in at Northwest Toyota to see if they could help me out. Indeed they had the parts for this older car ( just some plug gaskets) but there was some debate on how many gaskets I should order and what plugs to drain to complete the full transmission / diff service. Parts told me no worries they had a specialist who could confirm. Richie from service was paged and he took the time to explain the full service on an older Car such as this ( much different than the newer cars) . He was confident of the number of service ports / gaskets but wanted to confirm so he offered to come out and have a quick look at the car in the parking lot with me. The car was a little low to the ground so Richie offered to put it on a lift and again explained the full service to me while it was on the lift. -He did not charge me for this- Keep in mind folks it ended up being 12 dollars in purchased gaskets….and the car was 22 years old. They were not making a huge profit off this visit (especially since I was doing the service myself). Despite this the dealership and Richie took time out of their busy schedules to go above and beyond to make sure the car and service was going to be done correctly. I just kept thinking if they treated me this well they must really care about their customers. And in the end the one person they really helped out the most was my mom. And you can’t really put a price on that now can you :) I was blown away. I have never had customer service like this. Needless to say when it comes time to replace my own 4 runner in the future I know what dealership I’ll be driving to. Thanks again Richie and to Northwest Edmonton Toyota. Highly recommended! More
Horrible dealership, aggressive with bait and switch tactics. First time I went to this dealership was in 2019 to buy a RAV4 Hybrid. The salesman (Alex Altobelli) and manager were uncoordinated, uncoope tactics. First time I went to this dealership was in 2019 to buy a RAV4 Hybrid. The salesman (Alex Altobelli) and manager were uncoordinated, uncooperative and unprofessional, using hard sales tactics. I went to Mayfield Toyota (now West Ed Toyota) and was treated fairly. Then Northwest Toyota called grovelling trying to match prices after being rude and aggressive when I was initially in. The GM even called us to apologize and try to work something out, letting us know he’d be talking to the team and the techniques were not acceptable. He used the excuse of new sales people. The next time I went to Northwest was in September 2022, when they called me about a kijiji ad. Salesman (Jede Bisling) called my wife telling her that he could offer 46-46.5k no problem (the bait). We scheduled to meet him the next day so he could check the vehicle. He notified us 1 hour before we arrived that we would instead meet with Tuleen Fadoul (the switch). She took all our information, vehicle was checked and in perfect condition. That’s when the used sales manager (Alex Altobelli - yes the same guy from our first horrible experience) came in to talk to us. He was aloof, asking what amount were wanting for the vehicle, even though he already knew. He was “taken aback” when we told him we already had multiple offers at 45k (which he already knew). He let us know they’d only be able to sell it for 42-43k, even though all listings including dealerships had our vehicle/model listed at over 50k. We let him know that Jede told us that they’d be able to offer 46-46.5k if the vehicle was clean, which it was. Alex explained that Jede didn’t get the estimate right, was misinformed and he conveniently wasn’t there to explain himself. We asked for our keys and licence back, and noticed on our way out that Jede was standing in the office directly beside the one we were sitting in. It’s completely embarrassing how this dealership treats people. Completely disrespectful to waste peoples time, lie and scam like they do. I can’t begin to describe my frustration and feelings. I would implore everyone to choose a different dealership, this is by far the worst business and staff I’ve ever dealt with. More

They fired my dealer, then did not contact me to tell me at all. Now my order will be 4 months late. Terrible at communicating. Would not recommend this dealership to anyone at all. Now my order will be 4 months late. Terrible at communicating. Would not recommend this dealership to anyone More
Allan was super helpful and made me feel comfortable while looking for a car to purchase. I cannot believe the service I got from the sales and finance department. Alex Braun was truly amazing, he listen to what I wanted, even the far fetch items and he made it happened. Anyone reading this finance department. Alex Braun was truly amazing, he listen to what I wanted, even the far fetch items and he made it happened. Anyone reading this if you don’t have a salesperson here, ask for Alex, you won’t go wrong. Hannah Wish in finance was great, she made the process so easy and easy to understand. Great people, great place to purchase your next vehicle. Both my wife and I have only been driving our new 4Runner for about two weeks now, but it has proven to be outstanding. More
