This dealership is a textbook example why people hate dealerships. I drove over five hours on a winter snow storm kind of a day to pick up my vehicle, advised a day ahead of time that I will be driving b dealerships. I drove over five hours on a winter snow storm kind of a day to pick up my vehicle, advised a day ahead of time that I will be driving back during the snowstorm, asked if they could have the winter tires put on in the morning so I could leave around lunch. Tires couldn’t be found so then they offered me a different set of tires, they couldn’t be found either, so I waited eight hours, even though the sales manager was aware and waited until 4 PM to take it into a different dealership to put the tires on. The car was not clean or detailed and was dirty, block heater cord was missing and it took 10 days to get it even though the sales manager told me he would mail it ASAP. Three weeks later I’m still waiting on my rebate for the other tires that I got which cheaper than the original tires. A week after I got this temporary car while I ordered the new hybrid, miraculously two hybrids were arriving in the dealership and they tried to give me $10,000 less for the trade-in for the vehicle I just picked up. Terrible customer service, zero accountability, poor leadership, scam artists More
This was, by far, the nicest, biggest and the most modern Toyota dealer I have ever been to with such a wide inventory of vehicles. Hands down to Brett, our sales agent together with Dom (Manager) and Elizab Toyota dealer I have ever been to with such a wide inventory of vehicles. Hands down to Brett, our sales agent together with Dom (Manager) and Elizabeth (Finance). If not for their team, I wouldn’t have been able to found the perfect SUV for my Dad. They were so patient, understanding and attentive to our needs and requests. They offered us with a very competitive rate and gave a big discount to help accommodate our budget. They also gave away free accessories. To be honest, I wouldn’t be able to get a better deal else where!! To Brett, if you are reading this, thank you so much for all your assistance! Rarely would you find a very honest, patient and straightforward sales agent. Thank you for going above and beyond to help us get my Dad his first vehicle here in Canada! If anyone here is looking for a new vehicle or would like to trade in theirs, my family and I highly recommend Brett of Toyota Northwest! More
Horrible experience with this dealership! ! Seriously avoid these guys for the sake of your own self respect and go ahead with other more honest, ethical, and professional Toyota dealerships i ! Seriously avoid these guys for the sake of your own self respect and go ahead with other more honest, ethical, and professional Toyota dealerships in Edmonton if you can! Back in May when I booked my gas (not hybrid) Toyota XLE, I was told 2-4 months for a gas model which is why I went with them over another dealership since I needed a vehicle soon (I was very flexible with the colour of the vehicle too which I repeatedly notified to them). After around 2.5 to 3 months when I did not hear anything from them, I inquired with the salesperson and was notified that my car was confirmed for mid-September. I really needed a car at that time and requested a loaner but was denied "since it's only a little over a month to wait for your new car". Comes mid-Sept and I hear nothing from them, and when I inquire again they said it's end of September and that "it's usually not delayed beyond that". Then it's end of September and when I continue to not hear anything from them (as usual) I had to inquire again and was notified by an extremely uncourteous Jonathan "ze manager" that the delivery has been delayed by 2 further weeks. And guess what, and as always since they don't bother notifying us lowly customers, I had to inquire again to which I was told that the new ETA is mid-December (seriously?) I then get a call from "ze manager" and I conveyed my dissappointment for not being appropriately notified about the constant delivery time changes and the significant delay, which really shouldn't take 8 months for a gas model and even if that's the case then customers should, at the very least, be appropriately notified when delivery times change. Instead of genuinely apologizing for the serious inconvenience that this has caused to me, ze manager decides to give me an attitude telling me in the most apathetic/"sucks-to-be-you" tone I've heard from a customer service manager - "well there's delays from Toyota's end and we have 1000s of customers" and "I won't be able to take your call tomorrow [indirectly stating that they don't care irrespective of how much inconvenience this has caused me]" Seriously Toyota Northwest?? That's the attitude of one of your managers?? Apologies if we lowly customer termites are disgracing your god emperor managers by dishonoring them through our low-life provincial inquiries as you make us painfully wait forever for divine Olympian cars manufactured directly by Zeus and Poseidon. To the dear god emperor manager who graced me with his time and voice, thanks for your condescending and derogatory attitude which, besides the unprofessional and unethical service I've experienced here, has earned your dealership a one star! I will be reporting this to the Toyota leadership in Canada More
An absolute joke of a dealership and general sales manager. I went in to this dealership with a very clear budget and desired payment plan that I presented to the sales team immediately. This is n manager. I went in to this dealership with a very clear budget and desired payment plan that I presented to the sales team immediately. This is not my first time purchasing a vehicle and I made it very clear I was there to make a deal and give them my business BUT we didn’t want the run around. I gave exact numbers— this is the biweekly amount I can afford over this amount of time. Period. They began by offering me about 1/6th of the current value of my vehicle for trade in; again, this is not my first time buying a vehicle, I’m aware they will always attempt to low ball, but the amount they offered was absolutely absurd, even coming from a low-rated car dealership such as this one. When I said no deal, I was sent from staff member to staff member to endure a never ending gauntlet of xxxxxxxx excuses about why they could only offer me so much for my trade in, and why their “bottom dollar deal” on the vehicle I wanted was about $15000 more than I had set as my maximum. No one attempted to even pretend to give me a better deal or work with me, just to justify their profit (as if I don’t understand how sales work). After two hours of this run around, I asked if they were going to be able to give me what I asked for, because I was done playing games. They said they weren’t able to on this vehicle, so I thanked them for their time and tried to leave. As I’m walking out the door, I hear the classic “NO WAIT!!” And am asked to stay and told that they can magically now drop their bottom dollar to what I’ve asked for. Great— we’re in business. I come back to talk about the deal and am now passed off to the real root of the issue: the ever so charming and charismatic sales manager, Luke. Luke proceeds to start over on the xxxxxxxx from before and, even though I’ve only agreed to proceed with this sale because they’ve literally begged me to and told me they could give me what I want, begins to back track on everything his sales team has told me and go back to trying to sell to me at the much higher price. I state at this point that, as I’ve just said, I am no longer interested in discussing that deal, and I would like to know if he is offering me the deal I’ve asked for, because if not, I would like to leave. Well it was then that I learned that not only is Luke surely the owner of a “worlds worst boss” mug (that he thinks was given in jest but absolutely wasn’t), but he is also something of a world champion dodgeball player as the continual running around, dodging and deflecting my questions, and raw aggression that took place in the next five minutes were truly astounding. Luke proceeded to tell me that they…. A car dealership…. Don’t “need” to make sales, and that he could either help me or we could “part ways”. I never wanted to join ways with him in the first place and I highly suggest no one opt to of their own free will, because when I stated for probably the 15th time in ten minutes that I was not interested in the deal he was offering, he stood up and announced his departure with an extremely mature “GOOD. BYE!!” And stomped out of the dealership. Hopefully to an anger management or leadership course. I would never recommend anyone bring their business here and will be sure to warn all of my friends and family to avoid anywhere this Luke might find himself employed. More
